In a slot-coupled microstrip antenna with a triplate line feed, the parallel-plate mode is excited by the slot, resulting in a decrease of radiation efficiency. Emerging application areas of mass storage flash memories require low cost, high density flash memories with enhanced device performance. This paper describes a 64 Mb NAND flash memory having improved read and program performances. A 40 MB/s read throughput is achieved by improving the page sensing time and employing the full-chip burst read capability. A 2-μs random access time is obtained by using a precharged capacitive decoupling sensing scheme with a staggered row decoder scheme. The full-chip burst read capability is realized by introducing a new array architecture. A narrow incremental step pulse programming scheme achieves a 5 MB/s program throughput corresponding to 180 ns/Byte effective program speed. The chip has been fabricated using a 0.4-μm single-metal CMOS process resulting in a die size of 120 mm2 and an effective cell size of 1.1 μm2  相似文献

A new configuration of coplanar stripline is presented and analyzed. This configuration is derived by augmenting coplanar stripline (CPS) with electrically wide lateral ground planes on either side of the balanced pair of signal lines. The ground planes should replace line-to-line coupling in complex circuits and eliminate the TE0 parasitic dielectric slab waveguide mode. Also, the spacing from signal lines to ground planes can be adjusted to change the characteristic impedance. Spectral domain analysis is used to calculate the dispersion characteristics of this transmission line. Analytical expressions for quasi-static values of the line are presented. This configuration of CPS should be useful for balanced high-impedance lines in monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) and high speed digital circuits  相似文献

We examined the fine structure of the upper and lower surfaces of stratified squamous epithelial cells in the skin of frogs (Hyla japonica). SEM revealed the upper surface of superficial cells covered with ramified microridges (type 3). The width of the microridges was 0.20-0.24 microns. Microridges found at the cell boundary were about 0.30 microns in width and a narrow furrow was seen between the two cells. The numerous oval disk-like structures (0.23 x 0.32 microns in diameter) covered the lower surface of these superficial cells. The upper surface of cells in the 2nd layer was covered with baculiform or ramified microridges (type 2 or 3). On the cell boundary, two linear microridges (0.23-0.27 microns in width) were parallelly arranged. The width of the microridges covering the upper cell surface was 0.09-0.10 microns. Microvilli-like processes with a height of 0.32-0.37 microns were interspersed among the microridges. Their tip formed an oval plane (0.23 x 0.31 microns), which corresponded to the size of the disk-like structures on the lower surface of the superficial cells. Desmosomes were observed on the tip by TEM. These findings show that the disk-like structures on the lower surface of the superficial cells are the sites of binding with the microvilli-like processes on the upper surface of the 2nd layer cells. The disk-like structures observed in the present study seem to be equivalent to the binding site on the upper surface of the surface cell layer of mammalian stratified squamous epithelium.  相似文献

The phenomenological loss equivalence method (PEM), the enhanced two-fluid model for thin-film superconducting materials, and the dynamical calculation of radiation losses in planar structures are used-in the context of a linear filter approach-to model attenuation and dispersion of ultrafast pulses in coplanar striplines. The numerical simulation of this modeling shows excellent agreement with experimental results available in the literature. Simple relationships between the peak attenuation and delay time of the propagation pulse, and penetration depth at absolute zero and conductivity at critical temperature may open the possibility of using pulse distortion to characterize thin-film, high-temperature superconducting materials  相似文献

An experiment was carried out for transforming the 120 GHz-TE12.2 whispering-gallery mode (WGM) into a circularly polarized hollow radiation beam. A hollow beam was formed by reflecting the WGM, which was radiated from a 16 mm radius circular waveguide cut, with an annular mirror having suitable local normal vectors. The experimentally observed field intensity profiles of the reflected wave were in good agreement with calculated results.  相似文献

The design of a 170 GHz, 1 MW-CW gyrotron for electron cyclotron heating of nuclear fusion plasmas is presented. The designed gyrotron incorporates a coaxial cavity to reduce mode competition, and a coaxial electron gun to support the cavity inner conductor. A new mode converter splits the generated wave into two beams and radiates them in different directions. The radiated beams are transmitted to two output windows through two mirror systems, being transformed into Gaussian-like beams. A single-stage depressed collector improves the overall efficiency of the gyrotron and reduces the heat flux to the collector surface.  相似文献
