A new effective catalysts combination of iron — nickel for alcohol CVD technique was found. This catalyst catalyzed well as well as the typical catalyst of iron — cobalt catalysts, but gave a different diameter distribution. Calculating their electrical density of states under the assumption of their solid lattice structures, the result was fairly consistent with experimental results. The number of electrical states near Fermi level that is considered to be important for catalytic reaction is enough and the DOS of iron – nickel catalyst was quite similar to that of cobalt unlike manganese – copper catalyst. Consequently, a blend of catalysts that has a similar DOS to cobalt and has enough states near the Fermi level can be a good catalyst for alcohol CVD.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and characterization of new series of the fluorene based polymers with carbazole and oxadiazole pendants for the generation of the white emission out of the EL device. In the fluorene backbone, hole transporting units such as carbazole or phenothiazine were incorporated to improve the EL brightness and efficiency. The PFCzOxd-co-PCzs and PFCzOxd-co-PPTZs in EL spectra showed maximum peaks at around 430 nm and additional large peaks at around 530 and 500 nm, respectively. In case of PFCzOxd-alt-PCz and PFCzCzPCz-co-PFOxdOxdPCz, the EL spectra of the polymers showed two distinct peaks comprising the maximum at 427 nm, which corresponds to the EL spectra of the conjugated backbone, and additional broad peaks at around 540 and 530 nm, respectively. The CIE coordinates of the devices from PFCzOxd-alt-PCz and PFCzCzPCz-co-PFOxdOxdPCz were (0.28, 0.33) and (0.25, 0.32), respectively, approaching the value of the standard white of National Television System Committee (NTSC) (0.33, 0.33).  相似文献

Liquid–liquid dispersion and mass transfer were investigated in mechanically stirred vessels without baffles by changing operation factors such as an impeller rotation speed, off-bottom clearance, volumetric liquid ratio, etc. The dispersion regime was categorized into five groups: the sedimentary liquid was kept at the vessel bottom (I), partially elevated without any collision (II), partially dispersed by colliding with the impeller bottom (III), both liquids were partially dispersed by collisions with impeller blades (III’), and the sedimentary liquid was completely dispersed (IV). The dispersion switched to I → II → III → IV with the increasing rotation speed and decreasing off-bottom clearance. The liquid–liquid mass transfer rate was significantly enhanced with the collision of the sedimentary liquid with the impeller bottom, and subsequently increased with the increasing rotation speed, volumetric liquid ratio, and vessel diameter and with the decreasing off-bottom clearance. A multiple regression analysis method was applied to determine the mass transfer rates of III and III’.  相似文献

This paper describes a 0.25-μm, 64 K×36 bit pipelined burst SRAM using a 6.156-μm2 cell. It realizes over 500-MHz operation using a lower cost double metal process, Internal 16 K×144 organization by T-shaped bit line array reduces 20% of latency, 20% of active power, and 8.5% of die size. The low power also enables us to use lower cost thin quad flat type packages. Our solution to the soft error problem, a shallow triple well structure and four-transistor cell with stacked capacitor, improved soft error rate by 3.5 orders of magnitude compared with the conventional SRAM cell  相似文献

To improve the insulation specification of gas‐insulated switchgear (GIS), it is necessary to recognize the insulation characteristics of SF6 gas during actual surges (called nonstandard lightning impulse waveforms) occurring at field substations. The authors observed the insulation characteristics of SF6 gas gap under various types of nonstandard lightning impulse waveforms and compared them quantitatively with those obtained with standard lightning impulse waveforms. The experimental results were used to derive an evaluation method for real surges, which was applied to typical surges for various UHV and 500‐kV systems. In the preceding study, therefore, only the case of a quasi‐uniform electric field (with a typical range of field utilization factors in the bus of a GIS) was investigated. In the present investigation, the insulation characteristics of an SF6 gas gap for a nonuniform electric field were observed experimentally and an evaluation method for converting nonstandard lightning impulse waveforms equivalently to the standard lightning impulse waveform was investigated. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Three peptides (5A, 5C and 6C), purified from potato protein hydrolysate fractions, possessed antioxidative activities. Isolation and purification were carried out using gel permeation chromatography and successive reverse-phase HPLC. These three peptide fractions were sequenced and identified as Phe-Gly-Glu-Arg, Phe-Asp-Arg-Arg and Phe-Gly-Glu-Arg-Arg, respectively. The fractions 5A, 5C and 6C inhibited linoleic acid oxidation by 55.3%, 58.5% and 61.7% using β-carotene decolorization assay system, while the inhibition ratio was 32.1%, 93.0% and 93.4% in the ferric thiocyanate assay system, respectively. The peptide fractions 5A, 5C and 6C also repressed lipid oxidation by 24.2%, 14.7% and 26.4% in the erythrocyte membrane ghost assay system, respectively. Oral administration of 100 mg/kg of body weight of the chemically synthesized peptides, 5A, 5C and 6C to rats (male Wistar) 30 min prior to ethanol injection reduced ethanol-induced gastric mucosal damage by 67.9%, 57.0% and 60.3%, respectively. Conclusively, these peptides have shown real potent antioxidative activities and could further be investigated for potential use as food additives.  相似文献

Pearlescent pigments are one of the most essential materials not only in paints, plastics, and printing inks, but also in cosmetics. Pigments with higher chroma, color purity, and brightness are in high demand all over the world. In this study we developed a high chroma pearlescent pigment for powder foundation. To produce the high chroma pearlescent pigment, we have designed the layer structure of a pearlescent pigment using computer simulation. In the simulation we have considered its layer structure, the complex refractive indices of the layers, and the thickness distribution of a mica substrate that was measured with Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The layer thicknesses have been optimized. The feature of this design is that iron oxide having selective light absorption has been adopted as the layer material to enhance certain wavelengths of the reflected light, which is one of the properties of high chroma. Thus, we have found that a mica substrate homogeneously coated with iron oxide which is further coated with colorless titanium dioxide has a high chroma compared to ordinary pearlescent pigments. The designed pigment has been synthesized by developing a novel manufacturing method to achieve a low roughness iron-oxide surface. We believe that this simulation is useful for designing other pearlescent pigments.  相似文献

Kupffer cells reside within the liver sinusoid and serve as gatekeepers. They produce pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines and other biologically important molecules upon the engagement of pattern recognition receptors such as Toll-like receptors. Kupffer cell-ablated mice established by in vivo treatment with clodronate liposomes have revealed many important features of Kupffer cells. In this paper, we review the importance of Kupffer cells in murine acute liver injuries and focus on the following two models: lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced liver injury, which is induced by priming with Propionibacterium acnes and subsequent challenge with LPS, and hypercoagulability-mediated acute liver failure such as that in concanavalin A (Con A)-induced hepatitis. Kupffer cells are required for LPS sensitization induced by P. acnes and are a major cellular source of interleukin-18, which induces acute liver injury following LPS challenge. Kupffer cells contribute to Con A-induced acute liver failure by initiating pathogenic, intrasinusoidal thrombosis in collaboration with sinusoidal endothelial cells. The mechanisms underlying these models may shed light on human liver injuries induced by various etiologies such as viral infection and/or abnormal metabolism.  相似文献
