Antiferromagnetic spin-flop transitions in a series of λ-(BETS)2FeBrxCl4-x are observed using piezoresistive AFM microcantilever. The measurements are carried out on a tiny single crystal using a sample rotator and the easy axis changes with increasing the bromine content x. The Néel temperature and spin-flop transition field also rise with increasing the bromine content x, suggesting an enhancement of π-d interactions by replacement of chlorine with bromine atoms in this mixed-halide anion system.  相似文献

1. When NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME, 0.1-10 nmol) or NG-monomethyl-L-arginine (L-NMMA, 10 nmol-1 mumol) was intradermally administered with bradykinin (BK, 3 nmol) into the instep of rat hind-paws, a dose-related suppression of BK-induced hyperalgesia, assessed by the paw-pressure test, was produced. 2. L-Arginine (1 mumol) but not D-arginine (1 mumol) reversed the suppressive effects of L-NAME (10 nmol) and L-NMMA (1 mumol) on BK-induced hyperalgesia. 3. Concomitant intradermal administration of BK (3 nmol) with haemoglobin (1 nmol) significantly suppressed BK-induced hyperalgesia in the paw-pressure test. The BK-induced hyperalgesia was abolished by concomitant intradermal administration of either a guanylate cyclase inhibitor, methylene blue (10 nmol), or LY83583 (1 nmol). In addition, KT5823 (1 nmol) or Rp-8-bromoguanosine-3':5'-cyclic monophosphothioate (Rp-8-Br-cGMPS; 1 nmol), an inhibitor of cyclic GMP-dependent protein kinase, also significantly suppressed BK-induced hyperalgesia. 4. The carrageenin-induced hyperalgesia was significantly attenuated by L-NAME in a dose-dependent manner. 5. L-Arginine (1 mumol), sodium nitroprusside (1 mumol), dibutyryl cyclic GMP (1 mumol) or 8-bromo cyclic GMP (1 mumol) all failed to produce any significant relieving effect on the nociceptive threshold of rodent hind-paws. Concomitant administrations of each agent with a sub-threshold dose (0.1 nmol) of BK induced significant hyperalgesia. 6. Rp-adenosine 3':5'-cyclic monophosphothioate (Rp-cAMPS; 1 nmol), an inhibitor of cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase, significantly suppressed BK-induced mechanical hyperalgesia. Concomitant administration of forskolin (1 nmol) with 8-bromo cyclic GMP (100 nmol) induced significant hyperalgesia. 7. In the superfusion experiment of a blister base on the instep of rodent hind-paws, intradermally administered BK (3 nmol) significantly increased the outflow of both cyclic GMP and cyclic AMP from the blister base. Concomitant administrations of L-NAME (10 nmol) with BK significantly reduced the BK-induced outflow of cyclic GMP without affecting the cyclic AMP content. 8. These results suggest that the NO-cyclic GMP pathway is involved in the mechanism of BK-induced hyperalgesia, and an activation of both cyclic GMP-and cyclic AMP-second messenger system plays an important role in the production of peripherally induced mechanical hyperalgesia.  相似文献

Recrystallization textures in rolled copper specimens have been investigated so as to elucidate the mechanisms of cube texture formation. The specimens are single crystals with the orientations corresponding to the main components of the rolled textures, such as {112}111,{110}112, etc. and bicrystals consisting of such oriented crystals. The cube texture was not observed in any single crystal specimens, but observed in only two bicrystal specimens with {112}/111{100}001 and {110}112/{100}001 orientations. The formation of cube texture seems to require the existence of a cube oriented region in the deformed state, and the favourable oriented matrix to allow the growth of such nuclei.  相似文献

The partial photooxidation of methane by nitric oxide selectively led to methanol formation over the V-MCM-41 catalysts under UV irradiation ( > 270 nm) at room temperature, while only a complete oxidation of methane could occur in the presence of oxygen. The yield of methanol corresponds with the yield of the photoluminescence of the isolated tetrahedrally coordinated V-oxides species, indicating that the charge transfer excited triplet state of these species are active sites in this photooxidation reaction.  相似文献

Elementary living beings, like bacteria, are able to reach food sources using only limited and very noisy sensory information. In this paper, we describe a very simple algorithm inspired from bacteria chemotaxis. We present a Markov chain model for studying the effect of noise on the behavior of an agent that moves according to this algorithm, and we show that, counterintuitively, the application of noise can increase the expected average performance over a fixed available time. After this theoretical analysis, experiments on real-world application of this algorithm are introduced. In particular, we show that the algorithm is able to control a complex robot arm, actuated by 17 McKibben pneumatic artificial muscles, without the need of any model of the robot or of its environment.  相似文献

Low heat conductivity restricts the rate of hydrogen absorption into a metal hydride, and this leads to a mismatch of the required absorption rate. The use of fin systems is standard in such cases, and the use of several different materials has been attempted. This includes high thermal conductivity carbon brushes and carbon nanotube. Unfortunately, such efforts have not been effective because the boundary thermal resistance has not been addressed. In this study, we focused on the direct synthesis of a single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT), which has high thermal conductivity, on particles in a packed bed, for reducing boundary thermal resistance and estimated effective thermal conductivity. Referring to Raman spectra, we succeeded in growing SWCNT on a metal hydride and effective thermal conductivity was estimated as a function of the filling ratios of the metal hydride and the SWCNT. Consequently, the effective thermal conductivity can satisfy the required value.  相似文献

The metastable state hexagonal-tungsten oxide (h-WO3) has been attracting attention over the past decade because of its high reactivity that arises from the hexagonal channels in its crystal structure. Simplification of the process used to synthesize h-WO3 is an important step to facilitate the industrial applications of this material. In this study, we addressed this challenge by developing a spray pyrolysis process to synthesize highly crystalline h-WO3. The ratio of the monoclinic to the hexagonal phase was controlled by adjusting the segregation time. Single-phase h-WO3 nanorods were synthesized using a carrier gas flow rate of 1?L/min, which was equivalent to a segregation time of 18.4?s. The ability of the h-WO3 nanorods to adsorb nitrogen and carbon dioxide was evaluated to confirm the presence of hexagonal channels in the crystal structure.  相似文献
