Sketch-based image retrieval (SBIR) lets one express a precise visual query with simple and widespread means. In the SBIR approaches, the challenge consists in representing the image dataset features in a structure that allows one to efficiently and effectively retrieve images in a scalable system. We put forward a sketch-based image retrieval solution where sketches and natural image contours are represented and compared, in both, the compressed-domain of wavelet and in the pixel domain. The query is efficiently performed in the wavelet domain, while effectiveness refinements are achieved using the pixel domain to verify the spatial consistency between the sketch strokes and the natural image contours. Also, we present an efficient scheme of inverted lists for sketch-based image retrieval using the compressed-domain of wavelets. Our proposal of indexing presents two main advantages, the amount of the data to compute the query is smaller than the traditional method while it presents a better effectiveness.  相似文献

Inhibitors of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) are considered a promising strategy in cancer immunotherapy as they are able to boost the immune response and to work in synergy with other immunotherapeutic agents. Despite the fact that no IDO1 inhibitor has been approved so far, recent studies have shed light on the additional roles that IDO1 mediates beyond its catalytic activity, conferring new life to the field. Here we present a novel class of compounds originated from a structure-based virtual screening made on IDO1 active site. The starting hit compound is a novel chemotype based on a [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine scaffold, so far underexploited among the heme binding moieties. Thanks to the rational and in silico-guided design of analogues, an improvement of the potency to sub-micromolar levels has been achieved, with excellent in vitro metabolic stability and exquisite selectivity with respect to other heme-containing enzymes.  相似文献

Adulteration of canola oil with four potential edible oils was analysed using FT-IR and chemometric methods. The adulterants (corn, peanut, soya bean and sunflower oils) were studied in four different proportions (canola oil + adulterant oils: 90 + 10, 95 + 5, 98 + 2 and 99 + 1 in volume). Excellent classification results were obtained when multi-class approaches were performed with a maximum error of 3%, using 1630 or 16 wavenumbers as variables. In the case of one-class approaches, the selection of variables (16 wavenumbers) was necessary, improving the classification error to 5%. The differences observed using the different methods were related to the nature of each model depending on how the boundaries are set in each of them, responding either to a PCA-based or PLS-based algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a comprehensive discussion of the results obtained after in vitro exposure of human fetal fibroblasts and human adult fibroblasts to pulsed radiation in a wide band between 100 and 150 GHz and to continuous wave radiation at 25 GHz.
