The photophysical properties of new synthesized indolocarbazoles, i.e., indolo[3,2-b]carbazole and its derivatives, have been comparatively analyzed. It is shown that their photosensitivity (total photosensitivity to (5–8) × 10−2 (lx s)−1, spectral photosensitivity ∼105 cm2 J−1, and free carrier photogeneration quantum yield of 0.1) and transport (effective mobility in 5,11-dioctyl indolo[3,2-b]carbazole is more than 10−5 cm2/(V s)) parameters significantly exceed those of pentacene, which, among molecular media (organic crystals), exhibits the highest carrier photogeneration quantum yields. The high photoluminescence intensity of synthesized indolo[3,2-b]carbazole derivatives shows promise for their applicability in electroluminescent devices.  相似文献

Of the commonly used drugs, digitalis has one of the highest therapeutic-toxic ratios. Mortality is significantly increased in the 20% to 30% of patients on digitalis who are in a toxic state when admitted to the hospital. Successful use of digitalis depends on avoidance of its use in situations likely to result in toxicity; recognition of the signs, symptoms, and electrocardiographic findings of digitalis intoxication; and stopping digitalis completely as the initial treatment of digitalis intoxication.  相似文献

We present a new approach for anatomic correction of transposition of the great arteries. The two coronary arteries, with a piece of the aortic wall attached, are transposed to the posterior artery. The two aortic openings are closed with a patch. The aorta and pulmonary artery are transected, contraposed, ant then anastomosed. The interventricular septal defect is closed with a patch, through a right ventriculotomy approach, because the right ventricle is no longer part of the systemic circulation. Two patients, aged 3 months and 40 days weighing 4,200 and 3,700 grams, respectively, were operated upon with deep hypothermia and total circulatory arrest. There was good recovery from the operation, with normal cardiocirculatory conditions. Renal failure developed in the first patient, and she died on the third postoperative day. During this time the cardiocirculatory conditions were good. The second patient made an uneventful recovery. Hemodynamic studies 20 days after the operation showed complete correction of the malformation. Five and one-half months after the operation, he weighs 7,500 grams, and his development is very good. We believe that this operation will be reproducible by most cardiovascular septal defect and pulmonary hypertension.  相似文献

This work studies the role of a cathodic TiOx buffer layer in operation of a photovoltaic organic solar cell (OSC) based on a photoactive layer with a bulk heterojunction. Using a liquid solution to obtain a TiOx layer is of current interest for simplification of process technologies of successive formation of OSC layers. It is found that the optimum thickness of the TiOx layer is 10 nm; at this thickness, the efficiency of the OSC reaches the value of 4.36%. The effect of air oxygen on the OSC samples is studied and it is found that samples with a TiOx buffer layer undergo degradation to a lesser extent as compared to the samples with no such layer. The effect of oxygen on operation of the photovoltaic device is discussed.  相似文献

Water-induced reorganization of individual one-dimensional J-aggregates of perylene bisimide (PBI) dyes was observed by fluorescence microscopy. Fluorescence spectra and decay kinetics of individual J-aggregates immobilized on glass surfaces were measured under a dry nitrogen atmosphere and under humid conditions. The fluorescence properties of PBI J-aggregates arisen from collective excitons under dry nitrogen atmosphere were changed to those of non-interacting dye monomers when water vapor was introduced into the environment (sample chamber). Time-dependent changes of the fluorescence spectra and lifetimes upon exposure to water vapor suggest an initial coordination of water molecules at defect sites leading to the formation of H-type dimer units that act as exciton quenchers, and a subsequent slower disintegration of the hydrogen-bonded J-aggregate into monomers that lack resonance coupling. Our present studies resulted in a direct demonstration of how drastically the optical properties of molecular ensembles and characteristics of their excited states can be changed by delicate reorganization of dye molecules at nanometre scales.  相似文献
