Inflammation is a pathological and physiological process which is known to be involved in numerous diseases, while it is notable that a considerable proportion of chronic inflammatory diseases overlap with the development of cancer. One of the most important proteins for inflammatory responses is inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). The present study investigated the effect of the extract of Carpesium abrotanoides L. (ECA) on inflammation by modulating iNOS expression induced by toll-like receptors (TLRs) agonists in murine macrophages. ECA suppressed iNOS expression induced by lipopolysaccharide (TLR4 agonist), macrophage-activating lipopeptide 2-kDa (TLR2 and TLR6 agonist), and polyriboinosinic polyribocytidylic acid (TLR3 agonist). All the results suggest that ECA can modulate TLR signaling pathways and subsequent chronic inflammatory responses.  相似文献

A new strategy was attempted to fabricate CeO2 nanoparticles using the surface fluorination technique to control the particle size and suppress the catalytic activity. The fluorinated CeO2 nanoparticles are fully characterized with XRD, XANES, UV-vis spectroscopy, HR-TEM, XPS along with the evaluation of photo and thermal catalytic activities. XRD patterns were not affected by surface fluorination. That is to say, the crystalline structure of CeO2 was not deteriorated upon fluorination. The TEM analysis showed that the fluorinated CeO2 nanoparticles with the primary particle size of 7 nm could be prepared. According to the X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) analysis, overall XANES spectrum was not changed upon fluorination, suggesting that the local structure of fluorinated CeO2 resembled that of the starting CeO2 nanoparticles. It was also revealed that both photo and thermal catalytic activities could be almost totally suppressed at the fluorination level of ca. 6.0 wt%. It is suggested that the selective surface fluorination with fluoride could lead to fluorinated CeO2 nanoparticles, which could be applied to new fields such as the cosmetics industries.  相似文献

We report the first results of high-strength fibers in long lengths (>5 km) coated at a speed of 5 m/s. A total length of 50.8 km of fiber in sample lengths ranging from ∼ 5 to ∼ 7 km was prooftested at three different stress levels up to 2.1 GN/m2. It is found that the average survival length at two prooftest levels of 1.4 GN/m2(200 kg/in2) and 2.1 GN/m2(300 kg/in2) are, respectively, ∼10 and 3 km.  相似文献

Holographic CDMA     
A new technique for all-optical code division multiple access (CDMA) based on optical holography is described. In this technique the energy of an incoming information light signal is spread over a larger spatial domain by a two-dimensional spatial encoder which consists of patterns of (0, 1) or (1, -1). Subsequent decoding, which is obtained by a holographic filter, spatially despreads the energy of information light signal and brings it to a bright focused light spot. Experimental results obtained to demonstrate the encoding, decoding, and multiaccess capability of the proposed holographic CDMA technique are discussed and compared to other all-optical CDMA techniques. The processing gain for a holographic CDMA can be potentially as high as 106-108 , which suggests that this technique can in principle support hundreds of thousands to a few millions of users  相似文献

Dissolution of Ir oxides in Ir‐based catalysts, which is closely linked to the catalyst activity and stability toward the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in acidic media, is a critical unresolved problem in the commercialization of water electrolysis. Doping foreign elements into the Ir oxides can accomplish an optimal combination of Ir oxidation states that is conducive to the leaching‐resistance of active catalytic sites. Here, it is reported that Pt doping into IrOx‐based nanoframe is beneficial in both terms of activity and stability. The Pt‐doped IrOx‐based nanoframe achieves the mass activity of 0.644 A mg?1Ir+Pt at 1.53 VRHE, which is 15‐fold higher than that of the commercial IrO2. During the accelerated durability test, the IrIV‐to‐IrIII ratio of 5 is maintained in the presence of Pt dopant to effectively mitigate the degradation of Ir catalyst, leading to the superb catalyst durability in acidic media.  相似文献

Nowadays, mobile devices are becoming the most popular computing device as their computing capabilities increase rapidly. However, it is still challenging to execute highly sophisticated applications such as 3D video games on mobile devices due to its constrained key computational resources. Execution offloading approaches have been proposed to resolve this problem by strengthening mobile devices with powerful cloud. Unfortunately, the existing offloading approaches are not suitable for 3D video games because of the unique execution characteristics of them. In this paper, we propose a streaming-based execution offloading framework to enable execution offloading for 3D video games. The experiments show that our framework successfully guarantees 20 frames per second for our benchmark.  相似文献
