Effects of Optimized Operating Parameters on Combustion Characteristics and NO_x Emissions of a Burner based on Orthogonal Analysis

To optimize the structure of the burner,improve the combustion performance,and reduce the emission of NO_x,a self-circulating low NO_x combustion technology was used to design a new type of flue gas self-circulating low NO_x burner.Based on previous research on the numerical model of combustion and the composition of mixed gas on combustion and NO_x emissions,the effect of various factors on the ejection coefficient of the flue gas self-circulating structure was analyzed using the orthogonal test method,and the burner operating parameters,such as preheating temperature and excess air coefficient,were deeply studied through the three-dimensional finite element numerical model in this paper.The results show that the diameter ratio of the nozzle and the length of the cylindrical section of the flue gas self-circulating structure have great influence on its ejection and mixing ability.The optimal ejection coefficient was 0.4829.Overall,the amount of NO_x emissions greatly increased from 6.23×10~(-6) (volume fraction) at the preheating temperature 973 K to 3.5×10~(-3) at preheating temperature 1573 K.When the excess air coefficient decreased from 1.2 to 1,the maximum combustion temperature decreased from 2036.3 K to 1954.22 K,and the NO_x emissions decreased from 352.29×10~(-6) to 159.73×10~(-6).

Photoreceptor Cells Constitutively Express IL-35 and Promote Ocular Immune Privilege

Interleukin-27 is constitutively secreted by microglia in the retina or brain, and upregulation of IL-27 during neuroinflammation suppresses encephalomyelitis and autoimmune uveitis. However, while IL-35 is structurally and functionally similar to IL-27, the intrinsic roles of IL-35 in CNS tissues are unknown. Thus, we generated IL-35/YFP-knock-in reporter mice (p35-KI) and demonstrated that photoreceptor neurons constitutively secrete IL-35, which might protect the retina from persistent low-grade inflammation that can impair photoreceptor functions. Furthermore, the p35-KI mouse, which is hemizygous at the il12a locus, develops more severe uveitis because of reduced IL-35 expression. Interestingly, onset and exacerbation of uveitis in p35-KI mice caused by extravasation of proinflammatory Th1/Th17 lymphocytes into the retina were preceded by a dramatic decrease of IL-35, attributable to massive death of photoreceptor cells. Thus, while inflammation-induced death of photoreceptors and loss of protective effects of IL-35 exacerbated uveitis, our data also suggest that constitutive production of IL-35 in the retina might have housekeeping functions that promote sterilization immunity in the neuroretina and maintain ocular immune privilege.

A formation of cobalt silicide on silicon field emitter arrays byelectrical stress

A novel process utilizing electrical stress is proposed for the formation of Co silicide on single crystal silicon (c-Si) FEAs to improve the field emission characteristics. Co silicide FEAs formed by electrical stress (ES) exhibited a significant improvement in turn-on voltage and emission current compared with c-Si FEAs. The improvement mainly comes from the lower effective work function of Co silicide and less blunting of tips during silicidation by electrical stress in an ultra high vacuum (UHV) environment less than 10^-8 torr     

光栅衍射缝间干涉因子次极大强度对称性的菲涅耳半波带法证明

本文用菲涅耳半波带法推导出了一个非常有用的次极大位置公式,将该位置公式和振幅矢量法求出的次极大位置结合起来,方便地求出了缝间干涉因子的次极大的强度,证明了缝向干涉因子的次极大强度具有对称性。避免了对振幅矢量法求次极大位置这个方程的直接求解,因为用该方法求出的次极大强度与理论值完全符合,说明菲涅耳半波带法不但可以用来分析单缝衍射,同时还完全能够用来分析光栅衍射。
