Phagostimulant activity of glycerolipids such as digalactosyldiacylglycerol (DGDG), 6-sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerol (SQDG), phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), etc., have been examined using the Avicel plate method for three kinds of marine herbivorous gastropods, the abaloneHaliotis discus, the turban shellTurbo cornutus, and the topshellOmphalius pfeifferi. DGDG showed strong activity for all the test animals. SQDG was much less active than the other glycerolipids for abalone. The turban shell and the top shell responded more or less sensitively to all tested glycerolipids at doses of 10–20g/sample zone.Chemical Studies on Phagostimulants for Marine Gastropods. Part VIII. Influence of tetrabutyl-, tetrapentyl- and tetraisopentylammonium ions on the reduction of nickel(II) in thiocyanate solutions at the dropping mercury electrode has been investigated. These tetraalkylammonium ions, at their low concentrations, inhibit the reduction of nickel(II). However, at their high concentrations, the strong inhibiting effect disappers with the formation of a new wave corresponding to the reduction of a negatively charged nickel(II) thiocyanate complex, which is stabilized by the formation of ion pair with tetraalkylammonium cation. The variation of the reduction current with tetraalkalylammonium concentration was explained by taking into consideration both the change of the total charge of nickel(II) thocyanate complex involved in the reduction process and the simultaneous adsorption of tetraalkylammonium and thiocyanate ions on the mercury electrode.  相似文献

To come out with a successful organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) lighting business, it is very important to have clear differentiation of OLED from LEDs. Flexible OLED has merits, such as capability to be mounted on the curved wall, which is not easy for LEDs to achieve the feature. There are several approaches to make flexible OLEDs especially among those plastic barrier films that can bring high level of flexibility, which could not be achieved by any conventional lighting method. In this paper, barrier films with various water vapor transmission rate values, including 10? 6 order, are applied, and the conditions to have almost no dark spot growth under 85 °C and 85% high temperature/humidity test are shown. Flexible OLED panels are manufactured with the world's first roll‐to‐roll equipment using plastic barrier film.  相似文献

We have previously reported that platelet-activating factor (PAF) induces proliferation and microbicidal activity of guinea pig bone marrow cells. In the present study, we have found that the conditioned medium of PAF- or nonmetabolizable PAF agonist-treated guinea pig bone marrow cells augmented DNA synthesis and induced microbicial activity of bone marrow cells. A PAF specific antagonist, CV-6209, inhibited generation of the active conditioned medium by PAF. Addition of the PAF antagonist only partially suppressed the augmentative effect of the active conditioned medium on DNA synthesis; this is consistent with the fact that, because of the rapid breakdown, no appreciable amount of PAF remained in the conditioned medium of PAF-treated cells. Although mouse bone marrow cells did not respond to PAF unlike guinea pig cells, their DNA synthesis was significantly enhanced by the conditioned medium of PAF-treated guinea pig bone marrow cells. Thus, some newly generated factor(s) distinct from the originally inoculated PAF seemed to modulate the bioactions of PAF on bone marrow cells. An appreciable amount of PAF was produced by calcium ionophore-treated guinea pig bone marrow cells. These findings indicate that PAF synthesized in guinea pig bone marrow cells induces generation in the cells of some factor(s) which affects proliferation or microbicidal activity. α-Tocopherol was reacted with methyl linoleateperoxyl radicals at 37°C. The peroxyl radicals were generated by the reaction of methyl linoleate with a free radical initiator, 2,2′-azobis(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile). The primary products of α-tocopherol with methyl linoleate-peroxyl radicals were isolated by reversephase and normal-phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and their structures were characterized by ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR),1H and13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS). There were four stereoisomers of methyl 13-(8a-peroxy-α-tocopherone)-9(Z),11(E)-octadecadienoate and four stereoisomers of methyl9-(8a-peroxy-α-tocopherone)-10(E),12(Z)-octadecadienoate.  相似文献

Silver-palladium alloy films were made by a thick-film technique using several metal powders prepared by the spray-pyrolysis method. Two types of powders were used: silver-palladium alloy powders (15 mol % Pd and 30 mol % Pd) and mixtures of silver and palladium powders. The fired films were about 2–3 m in thickness. The alloy particles sintered uniformly in firing, whereas, in the case of the powder mixtures, the alloying of silver and palladium particles caused uneven particle growth and large voids were formed in the fired films. For this reason the films made from the alloy powders had better conductive properties than those made from the powder mixtures. The resistivities of the films made from the alloy powders were close to the intrinsic value for silver-palladium alloys. Further, the oxidation of palladium during heating in air was significantly suppressed in the alloy powders when the palladium content was lower than 30 mol % in accordance with thermodynamic considerations.  相似文献

Set-based particle swarm optimization (S-PSO) operates on discrete space. S-PSO can solve combinatorial optimization problem with high quality and is successful to apply to the large-scale problem. In S-PSO, a velocity is a set with possibility and a position is a candidate solution. In this paper, we present a novel algorithm of set-based particle swarm optimization with status memory (S-PSOSM) to decide the position based on the previous position for solving knapsack problem. Some operators are redefined for S-PSOSM. S-PSOSM is a simple algorithm because the state of probability reduces. In addition, the weight of S-PSOSM is discussed. S-PSOSM shows high qualities in experimental results.  相似文献

This paper proposes a method for visualizing the stiffness of a soft object in a palpation-support information system by the teleoperation of a robot hand. It is important that a palpation system display a body’s shape and stiffness. In our method, the stiffness of the contact area between the soft object and the robot finger is estimated by a recursive least-squares method with forgetting factor that uses an impedance dynamics model. With the estimated stiffness and direction of contact force, we calculate the scalar parameter for visualization of stiffness. Moreover, we propose a safety control method for the palpation system, which is part of a tele-control method based on will-consensus building. The system configuration, estimated algorithm, and experimental results are presented.  相似文献

Robotic fish are nowadays developed for various types of research, such as bio-inspiredrobotics, biomimetics and animal behavior studies. In the context of our research on the social interactions of the zebrafish Danio Rerio, we developed a miniature robotic fish lure for direct underwater interaction with the living fish. This remotely controlled and waterproof device has a total length of 7.5 cm with the same size ratio as zebrafish and is able to beat its tail with different frequencies and amplitudes, while following the group of living animals using a mobile robot moving outside water that is coupled with the robotic lure using magnets. The robotic lure is also equipped with a rechargeable battery and can be used autonomously underwater for experiments of up to 1 h. We performed experiments with the robot moving inside an aquarium with living fish to analyze its impact on the zebrafish behavior. We found that the beating rate of the tail increased the attractiveness of the lure among the zebrafish shoal. We also demonstrated that the lure could influence a collective decision of the zebrafish shoal, the swimming direction, when moving with a constant linear speed inside a circular corridor. This new robotic fish design and the experimental results are promising for the field of fish–robot interaction.  相似文献

People routinely carry mobile devices in their daily lives and obtain a variety of information from the Internet in many different situations. In searching for information (content) with a mobile device, a user’s activity (e.g., moving or stationary) and context (e.g., commuting in the morning or going downtown in the evening) often change, and such changes can affect the user’s degree of concentration on his or her mobile device’s display and information needs. Therefore, a search system should provide the user with an amount of information suitable for the current activity and a type of information suitable for the current context. In this study, we present the design and implementation of a content search system that considers a mobile user’s activity and context, with the goal of reducing the user’s operation load for content search. The proposed system switches between two kinds of content search systems according to the user’s activity: the location-based content search system is activated when the user is stationary (e.g., standing and sitting), while a menu-based content search system is activated when the user is moving (e.g., walking). Both systems present information according to user context. The location-based system presents detailed information via menus and a map according to location-based categories. The menu-based system presents only a few options to enable users to get content easily. Through user experiments, we confirmed that participants could get desired information more easily with this system than with a commercial search system.  相似文献
