We have designed a family of parallel data flow analysis algorithms for execution on distributed-memory MIMD machines, based on general-purpose, hybrid algorithms for data flow analysis [Marlowe and Ryder 1990]. We exploit a natural partitioning of the hybrid algorithms and explore a static mapping, dynamic scheduling strategy. Alternative mapping-scheduling choices and refinements of the flow graph condensation used are discussed. Our parallel hybrid algorithm family is illustrated on Reaching Definitions, although parallel algorithms also exist for many interprocedural (e.g., Aliasing) and intraprocedural (e.g., Available Expressions) problems [Marlowe 1989]. We have implemented the parallel hybrid algorithm for Reaching Definitions on an Intel iPSC/2. This letter presents the design and fabrication of a low-noise fixed-tuned 300-360-GHz sub-harmonic mixer, featuring an anti-parallel pair of planar Schottky diodes fabricated by the University of Virginia and flip-chipped onto a suspended quartz-based microstrip circuit. The mixer exhibits a double side band (DSB) equivalent noise temperature lower than 900K over 18% of bandwidth (300-360-GHz), with 2 to 4.5mW of local oscillator (LO) power. At room temperature, a minimum DSB mixer noise temperature of 700K and conversion losses of 6.3dB are measured at 330GHz.  相似文献

Performance on computer-simulated, everyday memory tasks was found to deteriorate with age in 434 Belgian (aged 14–88 yrs) and 434 American Ss matched on gender and age. This age-related memory decline was reasonably consistent across samples. Difficulties in cross-cultural research and the advantages of ecologically valid measurement instruments are discussed. Instruments included a grocery list selective reminding test, the Wechsler Memory Scale, the Benton Visual Retention Test, and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS). The microstructure, average grain size, and density of Mg-PSZ sintered with SrO and SiO2 additions are found to depend on the partial pressure of oxygen in the sintering atmosphere. Over the range of 10−1 to 10° atm, both the average grain size and the density increase with oxygen partial pressure, for a constant SrO/SiO2 ratio. The partial pressure of oxygen also affects the microstructural distribution of the remnant liquid phase. At high partial pressures the liquid phase is uniformly distributed, whereas at lower oxygen pressures it is preferentially located near the surface. It is proposed that the microstructure produced by sintering is the result of a competition between liquid-phase-enhanced densification and the migration of the liquid phase to the free surface. The migration is attributed to vaporization of MgO from the liquid phase which increases with decreasing partial pressure of oxygen.  相似文献

A series of dicarbazolyl derivatives bridged by various aromatic spacers and decorated with peripheral diarylamines were synthesized using Ullmann and Pd‐catalyzed C–N coupling procedures. These derivatives emit blue light in solution. In general, they possess high glass‐transition temperatures (Tg > 125 °C) which vary with the bridging segment and methyl substitution on the peripheral amine. Double‐layer organic light‐emitting devices were successfully fabricated using these molecules as hole‐transporting and emitting materials. Devices of the configuration ITO/HTL/TPBI/Mg:Ag (ITO: indium tin oxide; HTL: hole‐transporting layer; TPBI: 1,3,5‐tris(N‐phenylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)benzene) display blue emission from the HTL layer. The EL spectra of these devices appear slightly distorted due to the exciplex formation at the interfaces. However, for the devices of the configuration ITO/HTL/Alq3/Mg:Ag (Alq3 = tris(8‐hydroxyquinoline)aluminum) a bright green light from the Alq3 layer was observed. This clearly demonstrates the facile hole‐transporting property of the materials described here.  相似文献

Multiple forms of a symbol-digit substitution task were used to provide a componential analysis of age differences in coding task performance. The results demonstrated age differences in feature encoding, memory, and visual search. A 2nd experiment was conducted with young adults to investigate a sensory deficit as a locus of age differences. The spatial contrast sensitivity deficit of older adults was simulated on forms by applying a digital filter. Persons in the age-simulated contrast condition performed worse than those in the normal contrast condition. The stimulus degradation effect was linked to visual search speed. The study illustrates the utility of componential analysis and offers direct support for the hypothesis that sensory deficits affect performance on tasks used to assess intelligence (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)  相似文献
