This study describes the development process of Kor-Factor, which is a novel composite evaluation index that was developed to promote Korean domestic academic journals. As more data accumulate, the Kor-Factor’s optimization process was modified in an attempt to address possible drawbacks of the original form; the result is presented in this study. This study compares Kor-Factor with the Impact Factor, which is the most well-known single element evaluation index. We found that Kor-Factor demonstrates a better power of differentiation and a greater capacity to reflect the reputability of key journals. The modified Kor-Factor, which has been developed through an optimization process, reveals a greater power of differentiation than the original Kor-Factor; however, the modified version has less capacity to reflect reputability. The evaluation elements of the modified Kor-Factor are better and are more evenly reflected on the index value than those of the original version. Finally, we propose the establishment of an appropriate data measurement period for the actual application of the index.  相似文献

Novel whitish-blue phosphors based on a phosphate host matrix, γ-KCaPO4: Eu2+, were prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction method using slightly phosphorus deficient conditions and their photoluminescence properties were investigated. The concentration quenching process, temperature dependence of the luminescence and decay curve were also investigated. The γ-KCaPO4: Eu2+ phosphor was efficiently excited by UV-Visible light at wavelengths of 200-450 nm and exhibited a bright whitish-blue emission with a maximum peak wavelength of 473 nm. All of these characteristics suggest that the γ-KCaPO4: Eu2+ phosphors combined with red phosphors could be applicable to near UV-based white LEDs, i.e., only two kinds of phosphor powders are needed for the formation of white light.  相似文献

High-level integration of the Bluetooth and 802.11b WLAN radio systems in the 2.4-GHz ISM band is demonstrated in scaled CMOS. A dual-mode RF transceiver IC implements all transmit and receive functions including the low-noise amplifier (LNA), 0-dBm power amplifier, up/down mixers, synthesizers, channel filtering, and limiting/automatic gain control for both standards in a single chip without doubling the required silicon area to reduce the combined system cost. This is achieved by sharing the frequency up/down conversion circuits in the RF section and performing the required baseband channel filtering and gain functions with just one set of reconfigurable channel filter and amplifier for both modes. A chip implemented in 0.18-/spl mu/m CMOS occupies 4/spl times/4 mm/sup 2/ including pad and consumes 60 and 40 mA for RX and TX modes, respectively. The dual-mode receiver exhibits -80-dBm sensitivity at 0.1% BER in Bluetooth mode and at 12-dB SNR in WLAN mode.  相似文献

Named data networking (NDN) is a new emerging architecture for future network, which may be a substitute of the current TCP/IP‐based network, for the content‐oriented data request mode becoming the future trend of development. The security of NDN has attracted much attention, as an implementation of next‐generation Internet architecture. Although NDN is immune to most current attack, it cannot resist the distributed denial of service like attack – Interest flooding attack (IFA) – effectively. IFA takes advantages of the forwarding mechanism of NDN, flooding a large number of malicious Interest packets at quite a high rate, and exploits the network resources, which may cause the paralysis of the network. Taking into account the severity of the destruction, we propose an algorithm to counter such new type of attack. We analyze three properties of IFA, and use them to judge and filter Interest packets. Vector space model and Markov model are used in our method to realize a cooperative detection. Meanwhile, we present the retransmission forwarding mechanism to ensure legitimate user request. The ndnSIM module of ns3 is used for the corresponding simulation, and results of the simulation will be given to show the effectiveness of our algorithm. The bandstop characteristic of a slot-type split-ring resonator (SRR) on a substrate used for microwave frequencies is presented for a bandstop filter. Analogously to the conventional strip-type SRR, the slot-type SRR is very attractive for notching unwanted band because of its small dimension and high Q operation. In addition, the complementary SRR can be easily applied for coplanar configuration, which is favourable to MMIC designs. Based on the simulation and measurement results, the slot-type SRR for the bandstop filter is very effective in rejecting unwanted frequency in terms of its selectivity and size.  相似文献

A driver model to calculate gate and interconnect delays accurately for a chip with coupling capacitors is presented. The crosstalk effects between simultaneously switching victim and aggressors are effectively captured by iteratively solving an N-port RC network. We have investigated the effect of extended dislocations (0.5-3 μm) on charge distribution in GaN epilayer grown by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition on (0001) sapphire using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning surface potential microscopy (SSPM). It has been observed for the surface at the extended dislocations present in undoped GaN film to be negatively charged showing 0.04-0.2 V higher potential relative to regions that contain no dislocations. In addition to the higher potential at the dislocation core, the surrounding surfaces, including the edge of the dislocations, are also negatively charged in a symmetric way around the dislocations revealing crater-shaped higher potential regions (∼0.04 V) relative to surrounding dislocation-free area. The experimental results show that the protrusion-type of dislocation is also negatively charged and its potential is dependent on the size of dislocation.  相似文献

Text-line extraction in unconstrained handwritten documents remains a challenging problem due to nonuniform character scale, spatially varying text orientation, and the interference between text lines. In order to address these problems, we propose a new cost function that considers the interactions between text lines and the curvilinearity of each text line. Precisely, we achieve this goal by introducing normalized measures for them, which are based on an estimated line spacing. We also present an optimization method that exploits the properties of our cost function. Experimental results on a database consisting of 853 handwritten Chinese document images have shown that our method achieves a detection rate of 99.52% and an error rate of 0.32%, which outperforms conventional methods.  相似文献

Fluorescent microbeads are widely used for applications in life sciences and medical diagnosis. The spectral contrast and sharpness of photoluminescence are critical in the utilities of microbeads for imaging and multiplexing. Here, microbeads capable of generating single-peak laser emission with a sub-nanometer linewidth are demonstrated. The microbeads are made of quantum dots that are tightly packed and crosslinked via ligand exchange for high optical gain and refractive index as well as material stability. Bright single-mode lasing with no photobleaching is achieved with particle diameters as small as 1.5 µm in the air. Sub-nm lasing emission is maintained even inside high-index surroundings, such as organic solvents and biological tissues. Feasibility of intracellular tagging and multi-color imaging in vivo is demonstrated.  相似文献
