The field synergy principle is employed to analyze convection heat transfer enhancement which can be achieved by reducing the included angle between the velocity vector and the temperature gradient (synergy angle). The present study is aimed to scrutinize the relationship of the synergy angle and the field synergy number with other pertinent parameters in forced convection of plane Couette–Poiseuille flows with asymmetric heat-flux wall boundary conditions. This type of problem arises in various engineering processes, such as in the operation of extruders and in various lubrication problems. The variation of the velocity vector is governed by the moving plate velocity while the temperature gradient is affected by both the moving plate velocity and the asymmetrical heat fluxes at the wall boundaries. Analytical solutions are obtained and the effects of thermal asymmetries under the imposition of isoflux at the walls in Couette–Poiseuille flows are analyzed by adopting field synergy principle. The variations of synergy angle with different boundary conditions and the relationship between the Nusselt number and the synergy (coordination) number, are compared and analyzed. The thermal condition at the wall boundary, the variations of the moving plate velocity and the Peclet number are the essential parameters in the synergetic behavior of the system. 相似文献

By means of the wet chemical surface modification, the surface of Fe2O3 was modified by vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMS). Infrared spectroscopy (IR) was used to investigate the structure of the modified Fe2O3, and the result showed that VTMS has been attached onto the surface of Fe2O3. Effect of VTMS concentration on the active index of the modified Fe2O3 was also studied, and the result indicated that the active index of the modified Fe2O3 increases with the increase of VTMS concentration and the optimal concentration of VTMS is 12 wt %. The effect of the modified Fe2O3 on the tear strength of silicone rubber before and after aging was studied and it was found that in comparison with the unmodified Fe2O3 the addition of the modified Fe2O3 results in the significant increase of the tear strength before ageing because of the increase of the crosslinking density of silicone rubber. The tear strength of silicone rubber filled with the modified Fe2O3 after ageing is higher than that with the unmodified Fe2O3, indicating that the modification of Fe2O3 can improve the heat‐resistance of silicone rubber owing to the fine dispersion of the modified Fe2O3 in silicone rubber. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 针对心脏疾病诊断过程中心音识别的难点,提出了一种结合小波包分析及混沌的特征提取的心音识别方法。首先分析统计了心音信号的小波包能量特征,然后选取小波包分解中能表征心音信号特征的分量进行混沌分析,计算了最大Lyapunov指数和关联维数;最后以这些参数构成特征矢量作为支持向量机的输入,对临床采集到的65例正常及有心脏疾病的心音信号进行识别分类。结果表明,结合小波包分析和混沌的特征参量,较传统的分类识别方法具有更高的识别精度,说明非线性混沌特征能够较有效地表征心音信号的特征,为下一步临床心脏疾病的更准确诊断奠定了基础。 相似文献

Three novel bithiazole‐containing polymers were synthesized from 2,2′‐diamino‐4, 4′‐bithiazole (DABT) condensed with bismaleimide, bis(methyloxycarbonyl ethyl)tin dichloride (BETD), and 4,4′‐diphenylmethane diisocyanate (DPDI), respectively. A new series of polymeric complexes were prepared from Fe2+ and the three polymers. These polymers and their complexes were characterized through FTIR, 1H‐NMR, and related techniques. The chemical compositions of the complexes were determined by XPS. The presence of the exchange interaction between the unpaired electrons was investigated by ESR spectroscopy. The magnetic behavior of these complexes was measured as a function of the magnetic field strength (0–40 kOe) at 5 K and as a function of temperature (5–300 K) at a magnetic field strength of 30 kOe. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
