Nanocomposite materials containing graphene oxide have attracted tremendous interest as catalysts and adsorbents for water purification. In this study, mesoporous titanosilicate/reduced graphene oxide composite materials with different Ti contents were employed as adsorbents for removing bisphenol A (BPA) from water systems. The adsorptive interaction between BPA and adsorption sites on the composite materials was investigated by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy. Adsorption capacities of BPA at equilibrium, q e (mg/g), decreased with increasing Ti contents, proportional to the surface area of the composite materials. FT-IR observations for fresh and spent adsorbents indicated that BPA adsorbed onto the composite materials by the electrostatic interaction between OH functional groups contained in BPA and on the adsorbents. The electrostatic adsorption sites on the adsorbents were categorized into three hydroxyl groups: Si-OH, Ti-OH, and graphene-OH. In Raman spectra, the intensity ratios of D to G band were decreased after the adsorption of BPA, implying adsorptive interaction of benzene rings of BPA with the sp2 hybrid structure of the reduced graphene oxide.  相似文献

Current discoveries of different forms of carbon nanostructures have motivated research on their applications in various fields. They hold promise for applications in medicine, gene, and drug delivery areas. Many different production methods for carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been introduced; functionalization, filling, doping, and chemical modification have been achieved, and characterization, separation, and manipulation of individual CNTs are now possible. Parameters such as structure, surface area, surface charge, size distribution, surface chemistry, and agglomeration state as well as purity of the samples have considerable impact on the reactivity of carbon nanotubes. Otherwise, the strength and flexibility of carbon nanotubes make them of potential use in controlling other nanoscale structures, which suggests they will have a significant role in nanotechnology engineering.  相似文献

Chip to chip bonding techniques using Cu bumps capped with thin solder layers have been frequently applied to 3D chip stacking technology. We studied the effect of joint microstructure on shear strength. Joints were formed by joining Sn/Cu bumps on a Si die and Sn/Cu layers on another Si die at 245–330°C using a thermo-compression bonder. Three different types of microstructures were fabricated in the joints by controlling the bonding temperature and time, (1) a Sn-rich phase with a Cu6Sn5 phase at the Cu interfaces, (2) a Cu6Sn5 phase in the interior with a Cu3Sn phase at the Cu interfaces, and (3) one single Cu3Sn phase throughout the whole joint. The joint having a single Cu3Sn phase had the highest shear strength. Specimens were aged up to 2000 h at 150°C and 180°C. During aging, the microstructures of all joints were transformed in a single Cu3Sn phase. The shear strength of the joints was very sensitive to the formation of Cu3Sn and microvoids. Microvoids formed in the solder joints with a Cu6Sn5 phase with and without a Sn-rich phase during aging and decreased the shear strength of the joints. Conversely, aging did not induce the formation of microvoids in the joints which originally had only a Cu3Sn phase and the shear strength was not decreased.  相似文献

A 2.4-GHz transconductance (gm)—boosted common gate (CG) low-noise amplifier (LNA) with a high 1-dB compression point (P1dB) is proposed. To overcome the constraint of conventional CG LNA for input-mismatching, RF filters consisting of band-stop and high-pass filter are used as a load and inter-stage matching components, respectively. Therefore, the g m can be freely increased for a high gain and low noise figure (NF) without decreasing input impedance. Moreover, the linearity is also enhanced because band-stop filter load can reduce 2nd harmonics. The fully integrated LNA implemented by 0.18-µm RF CMOS technology delivers an input P1dB of ?1 dBm, a power gain of 14.8 dB and a NF of 3.7 dB. The LNA consumes 8.2 mA at a supply voltage of 1.8 V.  相似文献

A facile method has been developed for the synthesis of core–shell nanostructure poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) grafted on silica nanoparticles (SiO2 NPs) by using the combination of ARGET ATRP and thiol-ene click chemistry. The covalent attachment of the thermo-responsive polymer was achieved by taking advantage of the fast, robust, and high efficient thiol-ene click reaction as demonstrated by FT-IR and XPS. The ARGET ATRP provides the good conversion of the monomer in a well-controlled manner as indicated by the narrow value of PDI (1.21). The grafting amount of the polymer on SiO2 NPs was found to be ca. 18 % as determined by TGA technique. TEM images of the encapsulated SiO2 NPs suggested that the SiO2 NPs core was covered by the soft polymer layer. Interestingly, dynamic light scattering analysis revealed that the as-synthesized nanocomposites exhibited the thermo-responsive behavior with the transition temperature around 31–33 °C.  相似文献

A novel linear non-fluorinated sulfonimide functionalized polyamide (SPA) polymer electrolyte was successfully synthesized via an aromatic sulfonimide monomer with superior thermal stability and superacidity. The aromatic sulfonimide remains stable below 220 °C. To fabricate membranes with strong mechanical strength and dimensional stability, the polymer was blended with various quantities of PVdF. The PVdF/SPA blend membranes exhibit an excellent capacity of water uptake and high dimensional stability. However, their proton conductivity was found to be substantially lower than that of Nafion 211. Analysis on the SEM images of the PVdF/SPA blend membranes reveals that the low proton conductivity is primarily caused by the large pore structures (>1 μm), which lead to breakdown of the continuous proton transport channels.  相似文献

Constitutive models of particulate materials often rely on distances between the current stress state in stress space and various surfaces. Examples of these surfaces include the bounding surface and the dilatancy surface. This paper proposes a rigorous method for determination of distance to a surface in stress space. It starts by examining operations on stress variables defined in the $\pi $ plane. Algorithms for determination of an image point on a surface are then presented as a function of the location of the current stress state with respect to the surface. For points within the surface, the bisection method is used; otherwise, the secant method is used. The paper shows that implementation of the proposed algorithm locates the image point on a surface in stress space with accuracy and rigor, providing an accurate measure of the distance to the surface that can be used in hardening or flow rules.  相似文献
