An experimental investigation on the effects of incorporating large volumes of fly ash on the early engineering properties and long-term strength of masonry mortars is reported. The effect of fly ash and its mean particle size (PD) on the variation of workability and strength has been studied. It was found that fly ash and its mean particle size play a very significant role on the strength of masonry mortars. It has been observed that the early-term strength, except the mortars incorporating coarse fly ash (CFA), was slightly influenced by the replacement with fly ash. The long-term strength (both the bond strength and the compressive strength) will significantly increase, especially for the bond strength of mortars incorporating coarse fly ash. It was also found that the bond strength significantly increased as the mean particle size of fly ash decreases after 28 days curing. However, the 7-day strength was little influenced by fly ash particle size. The fluidity of composite mortar enhanced due to replace cement and lime with fly ash, and the mean PD of fly ash significantly influenced the workability. 相似文献

This paper investigates the ability of a shear wave reflection (WR) method to monitor microstructural changes of Portland cement mortar during hydration. The wave reflection method measures the reflection loss of shear waves at an interface between a steel plate and mortar. Mortars with water/cement ratios of 0.35, 0.5 and 0.6 were tested at isothermal curing conditions of 25 °C. The numerical model HYMOSTRUC3D was used to simulate the evolution of microstructural properties of the cement paste phase of the tested mortars. The parameters obtained from the simulations were the volume fraction of the total and connected solid phase and the specific contact area of the hydrated cement particles. The investigations have shown that the wave reflection measurements are governed primarily by the degree of the inter-particle bonding of the cement particles as calculated from the specific contact area of a simulated microstructure. 相似文献

CeO2–ZrO2–La2O3 (CZL) mixed oxides were prepared by citric acid sol–gel method. The as-received gel was calcined at 500, 700, 900 and 1050 °C to obtain the so-called C5, C7, C9 and CK, respectively. The C5, C7 and C9 powders were impregnated with H2PtCl6 and then calcined at 500 °C to prepare P5C5, P5C7 and P5C9, respectively. The impregnated CK powders were calcined at 500, 700 and 900 °C to prepare P5CK, P7CK and P9CK, respectively. The XRD and XPS analyses show that the surface distribution of Pt is evidently influenced by the structural and textural properties of the support. The CO adsorption followed by FTIR reveals that the dispersion and the chemisorption sites of Pt are reduced as the calcination temperature of CZL support increases. The chemisorption ability of the CK samples is even completely deactivated. The encapsulation mechanism, which has been applied to explain the so-called strong metal–support interaction (SMSI) after reductive treatment, is introduced here to demonstrate the abnormal observations though the samples were prepared in oxidative atmosphere. The HRTEM results also confirm this explanation. The effects of oxygen vacancies, the chemisorption sites on the Pt surface and Pt/Ce interfacial sites on the three-way catalytic activities are discussed. 相似文献

Quantifying and understanding quantum correlations may give a direct reply for many issues regarding the interesting behaviors of quantum system. To explore the quantum correlations in quantum teleportation, we have used a two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ system with spin–orbit interaction as a quantum channel to teleport an unknown state. By using different measures and standard teleportation protocols, we have derived the analytical expressions for quantum discord, entanglement of formation, purity, and maximal teleportation fidelity of the system. According to the mission of a satellite with maneuver capability, the collaborative optimization (CO) method was introduced for the satellite system design, and the related multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) model was established. The possessing and needed velocity increments Δv and Δv n e e d were taken as the measurement of maneuvering capability of the studied satellite, which were then combined with total mass of the satellite to form the optimization objective in the systematic level of the MDO problem. The design variables and constraints of the MDO problem dealt with disciplines or subsystems as guidance, navigation and control (GNC), power, and structure, and corresponding engineering analysis models were also built. A program system to solve the MDO problem wasdeveloped by integrating a non-nested CO method, the commercial and user-supplied codes on framework software iSIGHT. The result showed that the satellite performance could be obviously improved, which also indicates MDO technique is feasible and effective for the spacecraft design problem. The modeling and optimization procedure of the work can be referred for further research and engineering design. 相似文献
