The charge transfer within heterojunction is crucial for the efficiency and stability of photocatalyst for overall water splitting (OWS). Herein, InVO4 nanosheets have been employed as a support for the lateral epitaxial growth of ZnIn2S4 nanosheets to produce hierarchical InVO4@ZnIn2S4 (InVZ) heterojunctions. The distinct branching heterostructure facilitates active site exposure and mass transfer, further boosting the participation of ZnIn2S4 and InVO4 for proton reduction and water oxidation, respectively. The unique Z-scheme modulated charge transfer, visualized by simulation and in situ analysis, has been proved to promote the spatial separation of photoexcited charges and strengthen the anti-photocorrosion capability of InVZ. The optimized InVZ heterojunction presents improved OWS (153.3 µmol h−1 g−1 for H2 and 76.9 µmol h−1 g−1 for O2) and competitive H2 production (21090 µmol h−1 g−1). The stability and transformation of nanomaterial aqueous suspensions are essential for their applications. Preparation of high-concentration carbon nanomaterials suspensions remains challenging due to their nonpolar nature. Herein, 200 mg mL−1 carbon nanomaterial aqueous suspensions are achieved by using graphite-like crystalline nanosheets (GCNs) with high hydrophilicity. Furthermore, these high-concentration GCN aqueous suspensions spontaneously transform into gels when induced by mono-, di-, and trivalent metal salt electrolytes at room temperature. Theoretical calculation of potential energy by DLVO theory reveals that the gelatinized GCNs is a new and metastable state between two usual forms of solution and coagulation. It is shown that the gelation of GCNs is due to the preferential orientation of nanosheets in an edge-edge arrangement, which differs from the case of solution and coagulation. High-temperature treatment of GCN gels produces metal/carbon materials with pore structures. This work provides a promising opportunity to create various metal/carbon functional materials. 相似文献

Three ferromagnetic shape-memory alloys with the chemical compositions of Ni53Mn25Ga22, Ni48Mn30Ga22, and Ni48Mn25Ga22Co5 were prepared by the induction-melting and hot-forging process. The crystal structures were investigated by the neutron powder
diffraction technique, showing that Ni53Mn25Ga22 and Ni48Mn25Ga22Co5 have a tetragonal, 14/mmm martensitic structure at room temperature, while Ni48Mn30Ga22 has a cubic, L21 austenitic structure at room temperature. The development of textures in the hot-forged samples shows the in-plane plastic
flow anisotropy from the measured pole figures by means of the neutron diffraction technique. Significant texture changes
were observed for the Ni48Mn25Ga22Co5 alloy after room temperature deformation, which is due to the deformation-induced rearrangements of martensitic variants.
