The low‐cycle fatigue behaviour of a cast Al–12Si–CuNiMg alloy, with a high content of Si, is investigated at 200, 350 and 400 °C. The fatigue test results show that the alloy exhibits symmetrical hysteresis loops, moderate cyclic softening and higher fatigue resistance at higher temperature. The fracture surface analysis reveals that more tear ridges are formed at higher temperature, which strongly affect the fatigue resistance. Furthermore, evaluation of the material fatigue resistance using an energy‐based Halford–Marrow model indicates that the material's ability to absorb and dissipate plastic strain energy is enhanced as temperature increases.  相似文献

Large and segregated primary Si particles may drastically decrease the mechanical properties of AI-Si alloys. To solve this problem, a P-Cr complex modifier was added into the alloy, and the effects of P-Cr complex modification and solidification conditions on the microstructure of hypereutectic Al-Si alloys casting produced in wedge-shaped copper mould were studied. The thermal analysis technique was applied to calculate the cooling rate during solidification. The microstructures were observed by means of optical and scanning electron microscopies. Results showed that the primary Si segregates in the as-cast hypereutectic AI-Si alloys. The segregation of primary Si can be inhibited by adding a P+Cr complex modifier and increasing the cooling rate during solidification. The refinement of primary Si particles by P+Cr complex modification is due to the formation of CrSi2 and AlP particles which act as the heterogeneous nuclei for the primary Si phase. The segregation of Si was also inhibited through the adherence of heavier CrSi2 particles to the primary Si particles.  相似文献

Flame retardance of bisphenol A polycarbonate (PC) was improved by the co‐addition of poly (ether sulfones) (PES) and polysiloxane/acrylate copolymer (PSiA) while retaining a high rigidity and toughness. A UL 94 V‐0 rating for 1.6‐mm thick samples of PC/PES/PSiA blend with 10.0 wt % PES and 0.5 wt % PSiA (PC/10PES/0.5PSiA) was obtained. Its average heat release rate (av‐HRR) in a cone calorimeter measurement was decreased by 19% on the basis of PC/PES blend with 10.0 wt % PES. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) morphologies of impact‐fractured surfaces revealed that the incorporation of 0.5 wt % PSiA decreased the dimensions of PES dispersed phase and provoked the uniform distribution of PES in PC matrix. Thermogravimetric‐Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis results revealed that PSiA dominantly promoted the degradation of PC and the degraded products were combined with PES to form a superior flame‐retarded carbon layer. A higher sulfur and silicon content on the residue surface after vertical burning tests detected by SEM/energy dispersive spectrometer signified their accumulation during combustion. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, the mixed Navier–Stokes/Darcy problem which describes a fluid flow filtrating through porous media is considered. Based on two-grid discretizations, two local and parallel finite element algorithms for solving this mixed model are proposed. Metal complexes containing a new multi-sulfur atom containing 1,2-dithiolene ligand, [4′,5′:5,6] [1,4] dithiino[2,3-b] quinoxaline-1′,3′-dithiolate, have been synthesized and characterized by electrochemical measurements, IR, UV-NIR and ESR spectroscopies. X-ray structure analysis reveals that the anions of the Ni-complex derived from the new ligand form a zig-zag chain along the b axis, and the anions of Au complex of the ligand stack along the a axis while the cations occupy the holes. The Ni-complex exhibits remarkable absorption at 1082 nm (? = 15?000 dm3 mol−1 cm−1) and good solubility that render this complex as a promising near-IR dye for Q-switching neodymium lasers. The third-order non-linear optical properties of the complexes are measured by the Z-scan technique with a 6.5 ns pulsed laser at 532 nm. The Au complexes exhibit non-linear optical absorptive abilities, while the non-linear absorption of the nickel complex is negligible. All of the complexes show effective self-defocusing performance. The third-order non-linear optical susceptibilities for the Au complexes have been determined to be of the order of 10−13 esu.  相似文献

首先使微米CeO2在乙醇中球磨分散,然后向悬浮液中加入一定量去离子水,最后对悬浮液进行超声分散,使用这种方法制备出了分散稳定性较好的微米CeO2悬浮液,探讨了其增强微米CeO2分散稳定性的机制。结果表明:微米CeO2以不同方式分散时在不同比例醇水混合介质中的分散行为各不相同;微米CeO2在纯乙醇中的球磨分散性能最好,其起始分散率可以达到80%左右,而在醇水混合介质中的超声分散性能比在纯乙醇或纯水中的超声分散性能要好,但其起始分散率不高,只能达到20%左右。球磨后加水再超声分散的方法可以显著地提高微米CeO2悬浮液体系的分散性能,其中加入去离子水的最佳体积分数为40%,最佳超声时间为15 min。球磨后加水再超声分散的方法可以进一步打破微米CeO2粉体颗粒间的团聚,使粉体粒径得到进一步的细化,由于去离子水的加入悬浮液体系的表面电位得到了较大提高,乙醇水合团簇的形成使颗粒周围的溶剂化膜变厚。  相似文献

Cu-Ag composite is one of the best conductors for high-field magnets. Increasing its strength is crucial for designing newer high-field magnets. Cu-28 wt%Ag samples were solidified with and without a 12-T high magnetic field (HMF), and then cold-drawn. We investigated the influence of HMF on microstructure, hardness and strength of Cu-Ag samples both before and after cold-drawing. The introduction of external HMF during solidification increased both the dendrite arm spacing and the dissolved Ag in Cu, and it reduced the spacing between both the Ag precipitates in proeutectic Cu and the eutectic lamellae. The transversal microstructure after cold-drawing inherited the network solidification structure, but at a refined scale. The Cu dendrite spacing in the 12-T HMF samples at all deformation strain was larger than that without HMF. HMF slightly increased the intensity of <111> fiber texture of Cu, which strengthened proeutectic Cu at the level of 3.5 deformation strain. In samples deformed to strain of 3.5, refined Ag precipitation spacing, increased Ag solubility in Cu matrix, and refined eutectic lamellar spacing by 12-T HMF increased the strength by 5% in the sample compared with that without HMF.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the effects of nickel on secondary hardening of a modified H13 hot work die steel. Both the non‐nickel steel and the nickel‐added steel get a secondary hardening peak at 520 °C, and the secondary hardening peak trends to increase in the nickel‐added steel. On the basis of scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope observation, the rise of the secondary hardening peak is in connection with the precipitation of M3C type carbides. More strip‐shaped and needle‐shaped M3C type carbides precipitated from matrix. By means of internal friction, the result suggests that nickel does not affect the position of the Snoek‐Kê‐Köster peak, but the height of Snoek‐Kê‐Köster peak of the nickel‐added steel is higher, which indicates nickel enhances the interaction between dislocations and interstitial atoms, promoting the precipitation of carbides.  相似文献
