A new semi-static complementary gain cell for future low power DRAM's has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated. This gain cell consists of a write-transistor and its opposite conduction type read-transistor with a heating gate as a storage node which causes a shift in the threshold voltage. This gain cell provides a two orders of magnitude larger cell signal output and higher immunity to noise on the bitlines when compared with a conventional one-transistor DRAM cell without increasing the storage capacitance even at a supply voltage of 0.8 V. The mean molal activity coefficients of aqueous scandium chloride, nitrate, bromide and perchlorate solutions were determined at 25.0° for dilute to saturated concentrations, together with the activities of water. In the dilute solutions of scandium halides, the activity coefficients were obtained from electromotive force measurements on galvanic cells, and the osmotic coefficients of all four solutions above 0.1 mol kg−1 were determined from the isopiestic measurements. Least-squares equations were fitted to these coefficients, which were then used to calculate the mean molal activity coefficients and water activities. The relationships between these results and the corresponding activity data for other rare earth salts, and to the cation hydration and ionic interactions, are discussed. The results on scandium perchlorate solutions suggested that the inner-sphere hydration number of tervalent scandium ion may be seven. 相似文献

Solutions containing drag reducing additives also show reduced heat transfer which limits their use in district heating and cooling recirculation systems where heat exchange is critical. In this study, static mixers A and B and honeycombs were installed at the entrance to a heat exchanger to break the solution microstructure temporarily and thereby enhancing their heat transfer ability when passing through the heat exchanger. The effectiveness of the destructive devices in enhancing the heat transfer ability of drag reducing cationic and mixed zwitterionic/anionic surfactant solutions was investigated together with the microstructure recovery time and pressure drop penalty paid for the heat transfer enhancement. 相似文献

Flexural properties of moldings made by Reaction Injection Molding (RIM), which are structural foams consisting of high density skin and low density core, were investigated by three-point bending tests. Two failure modes were observed in bending tests of the moldings made by RIM, and they are classified as follows according to the density ratio of skin layer to core layer: the opposite side of the skin layer to which load was subjected failed by tensile stress: and the same side of the skin layer to which load was subjected failed by compressive stress, causing wrinkling or buckling. Then the conventional composite beam theory was applied to the former failure mode and Hoff s buckling theory to the latter, and equations were derived to predict the flexural properties of the structural foams, which involved buckling from the flexural properties of solid construction. In addition, it has been shown that there exists a density distribution that maximizes the flexural strength of the moldings made by RIM with a given overall density. The results obtained here should be useful to the optimum structural design of moldings made by RIM. 相似文献

The living carbocationic polymerization (LC Pzn) of p-methylstyrene (pMeSt) was achieved by the use of the 2-chloro-2,4,4-trimethylpentane (TMPCl)/TiCl4 initiating system in the presence of triethylamine (Et3N) electron donor in CH3Cl/nC6H14 mixed solvent at-80°C. Next, the synthesis, characterization, and some physical-mechanical characteristics of a series of poly (p-methylstyrene-b-isobutylene-b-p-methylstyrene) (PpMeSt-PIB-PpMeSt) triblocks is described. The latter synthesis involved two steps in one reactor: 1) The generation of diliving polyisobutylene dications (PIB) by the dicumyl chloride (DiCumCl)/TiCl4 system under similar conditions followed by 2) The addition of pMeSt and growth of living PpMeSt cations. Ultrafiltration membrane was prepared from poly(vinyl butyral). The effects of membrane thickness, polymer concentration, evaporation time, and evaporation temperature, etc., on the performance of the resulting membranes have been studied. Dimethylacetamide was used as a casting solvent. The membrane formed by casting the polymer from a 15 wt % solution and evaporation at 25°C for 30 s had a flux value of 250 cm3 / cm2 h (4.8 kg/cm2, 26°C) at 92.9% rejection level for dextran sodium sulfate (average mol. wt. 550,000) separation. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

A method to generate a porous region near the surface of a polymer is suggested. In this method the region near the surface is swollen by immersing the polymer for a short time in a solvent. Subsequently, the polymer is introduced in a nonsolvent (for the polymer) that is, however, miscible with the solvent. The formation of the porous region is a result of (1) the swelling accompanied by the disentanglement of the surface molecular chains, and the dissolution of some of them during the immersion in the solvent, and (2) the rapid extraction of the solvent from the swollen region by the nonsolvent. The porous surface provides a matrix into which a second incompatible monomer can be polymerized so that the two otherwise incompatible polymers can adhere to one another. 相似文献

A thermoset type anisotropic conductive adhesive film (ACAF), which electrically connects an ITO glass and a flex circuit both having conducting pattersn of less than 100 μm in pitch, has been developed. In this development, bisphenol A and bisphenol F epoxy resins were tested to formulate an ACAF with easy-to-handle tackiness, flexibility, and strenght. A curing agent that gives fast cure and long shelf-life properties to the epoxy resin was also selected. The tensile stress–strain responses of obtained adhesive films were successfully used for determining the formulation. Good aftercure physical properties (electrical and mechanical) were obtained. Durability against high temperature and high humidity were also tested to confirm long-term stability of the conduction of this ACAF. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献
