Orientation-preserving transfer and directional light scattering from individual light-bending nanoparticles

A nanocup, or semishell, is an asymmetric plasmonic "Janus" nanoparticle with electric and magnetic plasmon modes; the latter scatters light in a direction controlled by nanoparticle orientation, making it the nanoscale analog of a parabolic antenna. Here we report a method for transferring nanocups from their growth substrate to oxide-terminated substrates that precisely preserves their three-dimensional orientation, enabling their use as nanophotonic components. This enables us to selectively excite and probe the electric and magnetic plasmon modes of individual nanocups, showing how the scattered light depends on the direction of incoming light and the orientation of this nanoparticle antenna.

将虚拟现实技术和人机工程相结合,基于Crystal Space 3D平台实现虚拟校园系统。该系统由数据和软件两部分组成,数据部分包括多媒体数据和三维模型数据。在建模阶段引入面向对象思想并大量使用纹理,降低了三维模型的复杂度。同时,使用XML描述导出后的模型,使模型数据更容易被读取和解析。软件部分支持多种输入硬件、支持不同的漫游方式和对虚拟校园中指定地点的查询及自动寻路,并配以介绍学校文化的背景音乐,使整个虚拟系统在突出虚拟现实交互性、沉浸性等独有特性的同时,最大限度考虑“人”的使用因素,提供多样的使用方法和舒适的使用环境等人机工程特性,使系统的实用性更强。

Asymmetric oscillation of adherent targeted ultrasound contrast agents

With a lipid shell containing biotin, micron-sized bubbles bound to avidin on a porous and flexible cellulose boundary were insonified by ultrasound. The oscillation of these targeted microbubbles was observed by high-speed photography and compared to the oscillation of free-floating microbubbles. Adherent microbubbles were observed to oscillate asymmetrically in the plane normal to the boundary, and nearly symmetrically in the plane parallel to the boundary, with a significantly smaller maximum expansion in each dimension for bound than free bubbles. With sufficient transmitted pressure, a jet was produced traveling toward the boundary.     

A/O-MBR处理PTA综合废水中试研究

试验研究对象为辽宁省某石化公司PTA综合废水。中试采用了缺氧好氧一体式膜生物反应器(A/O-MBR)工艺。经过60 d左右的运行,试验结果表明,系统处理效果理想。在进水COD为291～713 mg/L、总氮为19～51mg/L的情况下,系统出水COD<30 mg/L、氨氮<0.2 mg/L、总氮<10 mg/L,而且MBR出水浊度<0.2 NTU、SS<5 mg/L、含油量<0.3 mg/L,因此系统出水指标优于《辽宁省污水综合排放标准》(DB 21/1627—2008),同时达到可回用于国家工业循环冷却水系统补水的水质要求。     

基于人体感应技术交流电源连接器的设计与制作

很多时候,当人们离开用电场所由于没有及时切断电源,会造成电能的浪费甚至引发火灾事故。所以,运用较为成熟的红外感应及无线收发射技术,在电源与用电设备之间,研究设计了一种具有自动断电保护功能的交流电源连接装置。经过实际试用表明,这种连接器确有节电保安效果,具有实际推广应用的价值。
