Design and synthesis of ordered, metal‐free layered materials is intrinsically difficult due to the limitations of vapor deposition processes that are used in their making. Mixed‐dimensional (2D/3D) metal‐free van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures based on triazine (C3N3) linkers grow as large area, transparent yellow‐orange membranes on copper surfaces from solution. The membranes have an indirect band gap (E g,opt = 1.91 eV, E g,elec = 1.84 eV) and are moderately porous (124 m2 g?1). The material consists of a crystalline 2D phase that is fully sp2 hybridized and provides structural stability, and an amorphous, porous phase with mixed sp2–sp hybridization. Interestingly, this 2D/3D vdW heterostructure grows in a twinned mechanism from a one‐pot reaction mixture: unprecedented for metal‐free frameworks and a direct consequence of on‐catalyst synthesis. Thanks to the efficient type I heterojunction, electron transfer processes are fundamentally improved and hence, the material is capable of metal‐free, light‐induced hydrogen evolution from water without the need for a noble metal cocatalyst (34 µmol h?1 g?1 without Pt). The results highlight that twinned growth mechanisms are observed in the realm of “wet” chemistry, and that they can be used to fabricate otherwise challenging 2D/3D vdW heterostructures with composite properties.  相似文献

We examine the stability properties of a class of LTV difference equations on an infinite-dimensional state space that arise in backstepping designs for parabolic PDEs. The nominal system matrix of the difference equation has a special structure: all of its powers have entries that are −1, 0, or 1, and all of the eigenvalues of the matrix are on the unit circle. The difference equation is driven by initial conditions, additive forcing, and a system matrix perturbation, all of which depend on problem data (for example, viscosity and reactivity in the case of a reaction–diffusion equation), and all of which go to zero as the discretization step in the backstepping design goes to zero. All of these observations, combined with the fact that the equation evolves only in a number of steps equal to the dimension of its state space, combined with the discrete Gronwall inequality, establish that the difference equation has bounded solutions. This, in turn, guarantees the existence of a state-feedback gain kernel in the backstepping control law. With this approach we greatly expand, relative to our previous results, the class of parabolic PDEs to which backstepping is applicable.  相似文献

The courses of aniline oxidation with ammonium peroxydisulfate in aqueous solutions of strong (sulfuric) and in weak (acetic) acids, followed by temperature and acidity changes, are different. In solutions of sulfuric acid, granular polyaniline (PANI) was produced; in solutions of acetic acid, PANI nanotubes were obtained. The external diameter of the nanotubes was 100–300 nm, the internal cavity 20–100 nm, and the length extended to several micrometres. The morphology of PANI, granular or tubular, depends on the acidity conditions during the reaction rather than on the chemical nature of the acid. PANI nanotubes were also produced when aniline was oxidized in the absence of any acid. The bulk conductivity of PANI prepared in solutions of acetic acid was 0.08–0.27 S cm?1, depending on the acid concentration. Protonated PANI prepared in sulfuric and acetic acids were deprotonated with ammonium hydroxide to obtain PANI bases and the ammonium salt of the protonating acid. FTIR spectroscopy showed the differences in the molecular structure of the PANI bases. Irrespective of whether the polymerization was performed in solutions of sulfuric or acetic acid, PANI had hydrogen sulfate counter‐ions only. The PANI morphology is thus not controlled by the nature of counter‐ions. The acidity of the reaction medium determines the protonation of monomer, oligomer and polymer species. The chemistry of aniline oxidation is likely to be affected especially by the protonation of an intermediate in the pernigraniline form. It is proposed that, in the course of aniline oxidation, pH‐dependent self‐assembly of aniline oligomers predetermines the final PANI morphology. Low porosity α- and β-SiAION composite material was prepared when the powder mixture intended for preparation of yttrium α-SiAlON, with the formula Y0.4Si12–m+n Alm+nOnN16–n, was attritor milled in isopropyl alcohol or contained excess oxygen (n > 0.6). The region of stability of single-phase yttrium α-SiAlON was smaller at lower temperatures. Wet milling (in isopropyl alcohol) of AIN powder was found to introduce excess oxygen into the milled powder.  相似文献

Data from total synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy (TSFS) measurements of normal and malignant breast tissue samples are introduced in supervised self-organizing maps, a type of artificial neural network (ANN), to obtain diagnosis. Three spectral regions in both TSFS patterns and first-derivative TSFS patterns exhibited clear differences between normal and malignant tissue groups, and intensities measured from these regions served as inputs to neural networks. Histology findings are used as the gold standard to train self-organizing maps in a supervised way. Diagnostic accuracy of this procedure is evaluated with sample test groups for two cases, when the neural network uses TSFS data and when the neural network uses data from first-derivative TSFS. In the first case diagnostic sensitivity of 87.1% and specificity of 91.7% are found, while in the second case sensitivity of 100% and specificity of 94.4% are achieved.  相似文献

The present investigation deals with the effect of Al2O3 particle reinforcement on the lubricated sliding behavior of ZA-27 alloy. The composites with 3, 5, and 10 wt% of Al2O3 particles were produced by the compocasting procedure. Tribological properties of alloy and composites were studied, using block-on-disk tribometer at different specific loads and sliding speeds. The test results revealed that composite specimens exhibited significantly lower wear rate, but higher coefficient of friction than the matrix alloy specimens in all the combinations of applied loads and sliding speeds. The improved antiwear characteristics of the composites were influenced by positive effects of higher frictional heating on compatibility of the composite phases and suppressing micro-cracking tendency. Due to that, effects of reinforcing hard particles were manifested through the reduced wear rate of composites, especially in conditions of higher load, lower sliding speeds and higher Al2O3 particle content. In present wear tests, the significant forming of mechanically mixed layers was not noticed, what is confirmed by the SEM microphotographs.  相似文献

Patients with cancer are more susceptible to a higher risk of coronavirus infection and its severe complications than the general population. In addition, these patients were not included in the pivotal clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines. Therefore, considerable uncertainty remains regarding the management of cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety of COVID-19 vaccinations in cancer patients. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge generated from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic on the vulnerability of cancer patients to the coronavirus disease, as well as the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines in this population. We also discuss the available data on the effects of anticancer treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors on the immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 in cancer patients. Special attention in this review will be given to patients with lung cancer, as such patients are at an increased risk for severe effects from COVID-19.  相似文献

The influence of the matrix crystallization on the coalescence of the dispersed phase particles, in quiescent immiscible polymer blends, is a topic that is scientifically addressed scarcely. The coarsening of the phase structure that is induced by the matrix crystallizing domains was studied using the well-established system comprising a polypropylene and an ethylene–propylene rubber (PP/EPR blends). This subject is of great importance as the effectiveness in the toughening of PP is directly determined by the EPR particle size. Cooling experiments were commenced for resolving the correlation among the imposed cooling conditions, the formed matrix crystalline morphology, and the coalescence of the dispersed phase particles. A confirmation of the profound effect of the PP crystallization on the coalescence of EPR particles was undoubtedly obtained. The contribution of the crystallization to the coalescence of the dispersed phase particles is largest at a finite rate of cooling. A thorough discussion regarding the observed effects, encompassing a potential rejection or an engulfing of the dispersed phase particles by the growing crystallites, was undertaken.  相似文献

This paper presents a control design for the one‐phase Stefan problem under actuator delay via a backstepping method. The Stefan problem represents a liquid‐solid phase change phenomenon which describes the time evolution of a material's temperature profile and the interface position. The actuator delay is modeled by a first‐order hyperbolic partial differential equation (PDE), resulting in a cascaded transport‐diffusion PDE system defined on a time‐varying spatial domain described by an ordinary differential equation (ODE). Two nonlinear backstepping transformations are utilized for the control design. The setpoint restriction is given to guarantee a physical constraint on the proposed controller for the melting process. This constraint ensures the exponential convergence of the moving interface to a setpoint and the exponential stability of the temperature equilibrium profile and the delayed controller in the norm. Furthermore, robustness analysis with respect to the delay mismatch between the plant and the controller is studied, which provides analogous results to the exact compensation by restricting the control gain.  相似文献
