Catalytic activities and properties of mesoporous sulfated Al2O3–ZrO2

Mesoporous sulfated Al₂O₃–ZrO₂ (MSAZ) catalysts with large surface areas and pore volumes after calcination at high temperature (650 °C) and with higher Al₂O₃ content than 20wt% were successfully prepared from a template of block copolymer (P84). The MSAZ catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N₂ adsorption, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), ²⁷Al magic-angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS NMR), thermogravimetric analysis (TG–DTG), temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia (NH₃-TPD) and infrared spectra (IR) of adsorbed pyridine. It is shown that the resulting mesostructured sulfated Al₂O₃–ZrO₂ samples have a well-developed textural mesoporosity. The number of acid sites present on MSAZ catalysts is higher than that on conventional sulfated zirconia, and the former catalysts are more active than the latter one for various acid-catalyzed reactions.

The influence of F doping on the activity of PbO2 film electrodes in oxygen evolution reaction

The PbO₂ and F⁻-doped PbO₂ (F-PbO₂) film electrodes have been prepared by an electrodeposition process onto platinum substrate. The changes of their electrochemical activity for oxygen evolution (OE) reaction with accelerated electrolysis time have been studied. The results show that the activity of the electrodes decreases with increasing electrolysis time. This can be attributed to the conductivity variations, which are caused by the decrease of the oxygen vacancy concentration in PbO₂ films during OE. The mechanism of the decrease of the oxygen vacancies has been investigated. For F-PbO₂ film electrodes, though its electrochemical activity is somewhat lower than that of undoped one, its activity stability is much higher in comparison with that of PbO₂. The influence of F⁻ doping on the activity of PbO₂ film electrodes has been also discussed.     

应用WCA微扰理论推算非极性液体比热容的新方法

本文首次将统计热力学的Ｗｅｅｋｓ－Ｃｈａｎｄｌｅｒ－Ａｎｄｅｒｓｏｎ（简称ＷＣＡ）微扰理论应用于非极性液体定容比热容和定压比热容的推算，用一些液体的ｐ－ｖ－Ｔ实验数据拟合了理论中所用ＬＪ势能函数的势能参数，并提出一个通用关联式。本文方法具有通用性，在编制的计算程序中只需输入物质的临界温度、临界比容、偏心因子等就能算出相应的比热容，工程应用十分方便。     

Fabrication and amplification of Rhodamine B‐doped step‐index polymer optical fiber

A step‐index polymer optical fiber (SI POF) containing Rhodamine B in poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) has been fabricated by a preform technique. Fluorescence of different fiber lengths were observed and discussed. A high gain (23 dB) for a SI POF with 60‐cm length, 400‐μm diameter was obtained. The Rhodamine B content of the doped SI POF is 5 ppm‐wt. The signal wavelength providing the highest gain for a 60 cm SI POF is around 630 nm, and the optimum fiber length is about 60 cm at 10 kW launched pump power. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. [Cu_2(Gly—GlyO)_2(OH)_2(4,4—bpy)]·9H_2O配合物合成、晶体结构研究

采用Gly—GlyOH,4,4＇—联吡啶与Cu(NO_3)_2·H_2O在二次水溶液中反应,合成出以4,4＇—bpy为中继基,Gly—Glyo为螯环新型双核铜配合物。经X射线单晶结构分析确定该配合物品体的化学结构式:[(H_2NCH_2CONHCH_2COO) Cu(OH) (C_(10)H_8N_2)Cu(OH) (H_2NCH_2CONHCH_2COO)]·9H_2O.晶体属于三斜晶系,P_空间群,晶胞参数a=1.1412nm,b=1.2298nm,C=1.4269nm,α=113.82°,β=101.91°,y=103.64°,V=1.6747nm~3,Z=2。衍射数据是在Nicolet XRD R3型四圆衍射仪上收集,结构参数经块矩阵最小二乘法精修后,最终一致性因子R值为0.068,RW值为0.057。     

Vinyl‐containing silicone resin as the crosslinking agent of heat‐curable silicone rubber

Heat‐curable silicone rubber (HCSR) was prepared by using vinyl‐containing silicone resin (VSR) as the crosslinking agent instead of polyvinylsilicone oil (C gum). Mechanical properties and crosslink density of the vulcanizates were measured. The results indicate that VSR is a good crosslinking agent for HCSR. The tensile strength, tearing strength, elongation at break, and hardness of the vulcanizate can reach 10.2 MPa, 29.1 kN/m, 720%, and 58 SHA, respectively. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 以显微荧光检验法检测常用盖印材料

显微荧光检验法是显微检验的一个重要角度,由于缺少基础性研究,这一方法在文件检验中的运用并不广泛.着重考虑曝光时间这一因素,以盖印材料的荧光特性为观察角度,运用显微荧光检验法对大量常用盖印材料进行系统、全面的观察和研究.研究表明,绝大部分盖印材料可被激发出荧光,每种盖印材料的荧光特性都有各自的规律性特点.     

Morphologies-Controlled Synthesis and Optical Properties of Bismuth Tungstate Nanocrystals by a Low-Temperature Molten Salt Method

Well-crystallized bismuth tungstate (Bi₂WO₆) powders with different morphologies were successfully synthesized via a low-temperature molten salt method. The powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and UV-Vis, respectively. It was found that the variation of morphology of the obtained Bi₂WO₆ powder mainly depends on the different reaction temperatures and the weight ratio of LiNO₃–NaNO₃ salt to precursor. In addition, the UV-Visible absorption spectra showed that the synthesized powders had strong light absorption properties not only in the ultraviolet light but also in the visible light region.
