D.c. conductivities of polycrystalline monoazacrown ether-substituted phthalocyanines (M=2H, Ni, Zn, Pb, Cu) and diphthalocyanine (M=Lu) are measured as Au-MPc-Au sandwiches to be of the order 10–10–10–12 S m–1. Chemical doping with oxidants (e.g. NOBF4) and enhancing the stacking of planar phthalocyanine moieties through the formation of alkali metal adducts with sodium and potassium ions leads to increase in conductivity of the order 101–102. The low conductivity and the diamagneticity of the bis(phthalocyaninato)-lutetium can be ascribed to the lack of radical nature in LuH(Pc)2. For the a.c. conductivities, lead and lutetium complexes form a group with higher conductivities and the rest show lower conductivity. The conduction activation energies calculated from Arrhenius plots exhibit the lowest value (0.40 eV) for the lutetium compound.Part of this work was presented at NATO-ASI on Semiconductor Materials and Processing Technologies, Erice, Sicily, 1–13 July 1991.  相似文献

The poisoning effect of various halogen compounds on a nickel-based hydrogenation catalyst has been investigated. While alkyl monochlorides did not affect the catalyst activity, alkyl monobromide and-iodide had a strong poisonous effect. Vicinal dichlorides, 1,1-dichlorides, and HC1 also poisoned the catalyst. It is shown that with chlorine containing compounds, the poisoning mechanism involves a fission of the carbon-chlorine bond with the formation of HC1, while bromine and iodine compounds adsorb to the catalyst surface as such in a simple equilibrium reaction. A mackerel oil previously shown to exhibit three kinetically distinguishable poisoning effects has been further examined, and it is shown that its content of halogens can probably account for the observed poisoning pattern.  相似文献

The effects of aging time of Cr(III) solutions on the structural, thermal, magnetic, and morphological properties of chromium polyacrylate complexes were studied. Chromium retention was found to increase with longer aging periods. IR spectra revealed the formation of polychelate structures with noticeable changes on aging. The interaction of multivalent, polynuclear Cr(III) species with the polymer backbone resulted in a decrease in thermal stability for the complexes prepared from olated chromium solutions. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A shock tube technique was employed to study the fast pyrolysis of cellulose with methane under conditions of high temperature, high heating rate, short reaction time, and rapid quenching. The effects of temperature, methane atmosphere, and reaction time are investigated. Experiments were carried out at temperatures between 700 and 2200°C in 1% methane (diluted in argon), and comparisons in the yields of major gas products are made with the results obtained in pure argon atmosphere. The total gas yield decreased about 25–30% in methane. The principal gas products—carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and acetylene, except ethylene—were significantly decreased in methane as compared to the yields in pure argon. An increase of about 25% in ethylene yield in methane over argon was observed. The onset of the decomposition of cellulose and the evolution of major pyrolysis products were changed with the reaction times, which also affected the amplitude and the distribution of the pyrolysis products. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A 4-week UNESCO-sponsored mission to the Department of Architecture, Karadeniz Technical University in Eastern Turkey, gave an opportunity to apply ergonomics techniques to some aspects of that country's domestic washbasin design. The study was intended to provide experience in questionnaire design and administration, in the application of psycho-physical methods, and to highlight the importance of determining user characteristics and preferences with regard to the built environment. A field study elicited information on dimensions and positioning of existing wash-basins and ancillary equipment and the opinions of users as to the suitability of these features in relation to the activities performed. A laboratory study, using an adjustable rig permitting variation in the heights of basin, taps and mirror/shelf, followed. The data obtained on preferred heights of these items led to the conclusions that basin height should be increased to between 95 and 100 cm to satisfy the majority of users; tap height above the basin should be reduced to about 11 cm; the shelf and lower edge of a mirror sited above the basin should be 136 cm above the floor; and a clear space of 110 cm should be available between the front of the basin and a wall or other obstruction. Suggestions on other design aspects of the bathroom, resulting from the study, are discussed.  相似文献

Although Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is the most widely used production planning tool in today’s manufacturing companies, its inability to perform an exhaustive capacity planning, lack of a comprehensive and integrated shop floor extension and using constant and inflated lead times necessitate intelligent methods for developing cost effective production plans. A single optimization model might be employed to overcome these limitations, but it would be intractable to use it in large manufacturing systems. Hence, in this paper, we propose a heuristic method called Capacity Allocater and Scheduler, CAS, to eliminate drawbacks of MRP systems and provide solutions for large-scale instances. The CAS procedure, based on iteratively solving relaxed Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) models, is built on a lot sizing and scheduling framework, which considers both supply alternatives and lot size restrictions simultaneously. Finally, we give a detailed numerical example to demonstrate how CAS may be used in practice, and provide our concluding remarks.  相似文献

Privacy preserving algorithms allow several participants to compute a global function collaboratively without revealing local information to each other. Examples of applications include trust management, collaborative filtering, and ranking algorithms such as PageRank. Most solutions that can be proven to be privacy preserving theoretically are not appropriate for highly unreliable, large scale, distributed environments such as peer-to-peer (P2P) networks because they either require centralized components, or a high degree of synchronism among the participants. At the same time, in P2P networks privacy preservation is becoming a key requirement. Here, we propose an asynchronous privacy preserving communication layer for an important class of iterative computations in P2P networks, where each peer periodically computes a linear combination of data stored at its neighbors. Our algorithm tolerates realistic rates of message drop and delay, and node churn, and has a low communication overhead. We perform simulation experiments to compare our algorithm to related work. The problem we use as an example is power iteration (a method used to calculate the dominant eigenvector of a matrix), since eigenvector computation is at the core of several practical applications. We demonstrate that our novel algorithm also converges in the presence of realistic node churn, message drop rates and message delay, even when previous synchronized solutions are able to make almost no progress.  相似文献

In this study, voltage, active power and reactive power variation of load bus were examined by Flexible AC Transmission Systems devices (FACTS) in grid-connected wind farm. In the system, FACTS devices, Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static VAr Compensators (SVC), Static Synchronous Series Compensators (SSSC) and Thyristor Controlled Series Compensators (TCSC), were used. Also, dual feed induction generator (DFIG) was used as generator in the wind farm. This simulation study was done via Matlab/Simulink environment. According to different values of active and reactive loads at different times being attached to the system, shapes of load bus voltage, active power and reactive power variation were given, also the results were presented in tables. In the conclusion of this study, by means of FACTS devices that is used in the wind farm, instability was healed within a short time.  相似文献
