The sol–gel method has been developed for the preparation of pure Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 ceramics. This involves the reaction of the heterometallic alkoxide Ta2Mg(OEt)12 with hydrated barium hydroxide Ba(OH)2·8H2O. Complete crystallization of the sol–gel-derived powder is achieved at 600°C, leading to a cubic perovskite type phase. After sintering at 1400°C (2–5 h), a trigonal cell arises from Mg–Ta ordering (the degree of order is greater than 0.9), and about 98.5% of the theoretical density is obtained. Preliminary microwave dielectric measurements show that the dielectric constant and the unloaded Q u of the ceramics are 24.2 and 6750, respectively, at 7.7 GHz.  相似文献

The volatiles released from several aphid and host plant species, alone or associated, were studied for their infochemical role in prey location. Using a four-arm olfactometer, the attraction of several combinations of three aphid (Myzus persicae, Acyrthosiphon pisum, and Brevicoryne brassicae) and three plant (Vicia faba, Brassica napus, and Sinapis alba) species toward Adalia bipunctata larvae and adults was observed. Both predatory larvae and adults were attracted only by A. pisum and M. persicae when they were crushed, whatever the host plant. (E)-beta-farnesene, the aphid alarm pheromone, was the effective kairomone for the ladybird. Plant leaves alone (V. faba, B. napus, and S. alba) or in association with nonstressed whole aphids (the three species) did not have any attraction for the predator. The B. brassicae specialist aphid is the only prey that was not attracted to A. bipunctata larvae and adults, even if they were crushed. Release of B. brassicae molecules similar to the host plant allelochemicals was demonstrated by GC-MS analysis. The lack of behavioral response of the ladybird at short distance toward the cruciferous specialist aphid was related only to the absence of (E)-beta-farnesene in the aphid prey volatile pattern.  相似文献

This work was carried out to have a better understanding of the synergistic effect between phosphonocarboxylic acid salts (PCAS) and fatty amines (FA) for the corrosion protection of a carbon steel in a 200 mg l–1 NaCl solution. These compounds, combined with a biocide at low dosage, are used for water treatment in cooling circuits. First, electrochemical impedance measurements were performed to verify the inhibitive properties of the mixtures. Among the different concentrations tested, maximum efficiency was reached for the mixture containing 200 mg l–1 PCAS + 50 mg l–1 FA. Then, electrochemical measurements (current—voltage curves and impedance diagrams) were combined with surface analysis (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) for each compound at the optimized concentrations and for the mixture. In the presence of amines, the iron oxide/hydroxide layer remained porous and the inhibition efficiency was relatively low. The FA acted by repelling the water molecules from the interface. PCAS sealed the pores of the oxide layer by forming a chelate. Thus, the growth of the inhibitive layer was limited but the efficiency was higher than for the FA alone. For the optimized mixture, the formation of the chelate was enhanced and the protective properties of the layer improved. A competitive adsorption mechanism was proposed to account for the synergistic effect observed in the presence of both compounds.  相似文献

Nitrogen demand from soybean seeds during seed filling is very high and has been proposed as the cause of nitrogen remobilization and leaf senescence. Previous research has not shown consistent effects of late season fertilization on seed yield, while its effects on leaf senescence have not been evaluated. Two field experiments were performed to determine the effects of a late season N fertilization on leaf senescence and fall, seed yield and its components, and residual soil nitrate, and to evaluate the potential risk of groundwater contamination. Two rates of nitrogen (50 and 100 kg N ha–1) were applied at the R3 and R5 development stages. Nitrogen fertilization, either at R3 or R5, increased soil nitrate availability during the seed-filling period. Seed yield, seed number and protein content were not affected by N fertilization. The addition of 100 kg N ha–1 produced a small delay of 1–2 days in the leaf fall, and slightly increased seed size (3.6%). Our results suggest that increasing soil N availability during the seed-filling period is not an effective way to delay leaf senescence or to increase seed growth and yield of soybean. Nitrogen fertilization increased the level of residual nitrate in the top soil at one site (the one with lowest seed yield), increasing the risk of nitrate leaching during subsequent fallow.  相似文献

Legume proteins as a potential source of valuable nutrients, are the object of several studies in order to obtain the best use. A basic knowledge becomes more important for those proteins from species not wholly utilized, before using them as food ingredients. The objective of this work was to determine several structural and nutritional characteristics of the protein fractions from Phaseolus lunatus, separated in different solvents. The relative amount of extraction for the albumins (ALB), globulins (GLB), prolamines (PRL), and glutelins (GLT) was 62.3, 34.8, 1.4 and 1.5%, respectively. The SDS-PAGE electrophoretic profile of both ALB and GLB, showed seven common bands in intervals from 10 to 95 kDa, and 14 to 99 kDa, respectively; the amino acids profile showed that PRL was the rich fraction in sulfurated amino acids (11.5 g/100 g protein); the content of lysine in the fraction of ALB was smaller than expected but the requirement of the FAO in the fractions of GLB and GLT was covered. In general, the fraction of GLB had the best balance of amino acids and digestibility (80%); however, it had a relationship of calculated protein efficiency ratio (C-PER) of 0.11, smaller than the ratio in ALB (0.97). The calorimetric analysis showed denatured temperatures around 90 degrees C for the ALB, GLB, and GLU fractions. The PRL fraction probably did not present a thermal transition because the proteins were denaturalized by the extraction conditions.  相似文献

Six synthetic heparin-like oligosaccharides have been used to investigate the effect of the oligosaccharide sulfation pattern on the stimulation of acidic fibroblast growth factor (FGF-1) induced mitogenesis signaling and the biological significance of FGF-1 trans dimerization in the FGF-1 activation process. It has been found that some molecules with a sulfation pattern that does not contain the internal trisaccharide motif, which has been proposed for high affinity for FGF-1, stimulate FGF-1 more efficiently than those with the structure of the regular region of heparin. In contrast to regular region oligosaccharides, in which the sulfate groups are distributed on both sides of their helical three-dimensional structures, the molecules containing this particular sulfation pattern display the sulfate groups only on one side of the helix. These results and the fact that these oligosaccharides do not promote FGF-1 dimerization according to sedimentation-equilibrium analysis, confirm the importance of negative-charge distribution in the activation process and strongly suggest that FGF dimerization is not a general and absolute requirement for biological activity.  相似文献

Summary The complex 5-(C5H5)2Ti (1-OC(O)C6H5)2 was synthesized and activated with MA0 for ethylene polymerization. The resultant polymer is UHMW-PE with a viscosimetric molecular weight of Mv = 6.8 x 106 to 0.7 x 106 g/mol dependent on the temperature of the reaction. The thermal behavior of hydrogenated palm kernel oil-in-water emulsions, which differed in their milk-protein composition, was studied in parallel with other characteristic parameters such as the aggregation/coalescence of fat droplets, and the proportion of adsorbed proteins at the oil/water interface. DSC was applied to monitor the crystallization and melting behavior of nonemulsified and emulsified fat samples. Comparison between nonemulsified and emulsified fat samples showed that in emulsified samples the initial temperature of fat crystallization and the temperature of the completion of melting were invariably lower and slightly higher, respectively. Furthermore, in complex food emulsions the supercooling temperature needed to initiate fat crystallization and the variation in its growth rate in the cooling experiment were dependent on the amount and nature of the adsorbed proteins. Our results indicate that the total replacement of milk proteins by whey proteins affected the fat crystallization behavior of emulsified fat droplets, in parallel with changes in their protein surface coverage and in their physical stability against fat droplet agglomeration.  相似文献

The electrocatalytic hydrogenation of cyclohexanone has been investigated with catalytic powder particles made of metal nanoaggregates deposited on a nonconductive material such as activated carbon and alumina. The catalytic powder particles were suspended in the solution under vigorous stirring conditions. The brief contact of the powder particles with a porous carbon cathode was sufficient to form adsorbed hydrogen on the metallic nanoaggregates through water electrolysis and initiate the electrohydrogenation process. It is demonstrated that the key parameters of the electrohydrogenation process are both the nature of the metallic nanoaggregates and the nature of the non-conductive material. The hydrodynamics of the solution under vigorous stirring conditions have also been studied for the particular cell used in the present study.  相似文献

-Butyrolactone-ethylene carbonate (BL-EC) mixtures have been investigated as electrolytes for Li-ion batteries using LiPF6 and LiBF4 as lithium salt. The thermal stability of the electrolytes in a large range of temperatures (–90 °C to 40 °C) have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). From the results of these experiments, the phase diagram of the BL-EC system has been determined. It is characterised by a eutectic point at –56.3 °C and a molar fraction in EC: x EC = 0.1. A metastable compound has been demonstrated below –90 °C at x EC = 0.4. Conductivity measurements of BL-EC solutions, in the presence of LiPF6 and LiBF4, indicate that LiPF6 in the eutectic mixture is the most conducting electrolyte in the range of temperatures investigated (–30 °C to room temperature). Nevertheless, at low temperature, LiBF4 based electrolytes compete well with LiPF6, especially when the amount of EC in the mixture is as high as x EC = 0.5. Moreover, recrystallisation of the salt below –20 °C is avoided when LiBF4 is used as salt. A large increase in viscosity of the solvent mixture is observed when a salt is added, but the increase is lower for LiBF4 than LiPF6. When EC is added to BL at constant salt concentration (1 M), the conductivity of LiPF6 solutions decreases more rapidly than LiBF4 solutions. This has been attributed, at least partially, to the dissociating power of EC. The electrochemical windows of BL-EC (equimolar) mixtures in the presence of LiPF6 and LiBF4 are comparable but it is shown that the solvents oxidation rate at high potentials is lower when LiBF4 is used.  相似文献
