The concentration and distribution of oxygen-containing compounds in crude oils from Jurassic deposits of the southeastern part of Western Siberia have been investigated. Close correlations between compounds containing oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur atoms have been demonstrated. It has been concluded that petroleum oxygen was inherited from the primary biomass and its content is determined mainly by the type and the burial environment of this biomass, which forms the sediment organic matter transforming subsequently into oil. 相似文献

The method of scanning Kelvin-probe microscopy is used to show that the effect of triboelectrification is observed when the tip of an atomic-force microscope interacts with the surface of n-GaAs epitaxial layers. The sign of the change in the potential indicates that the sample surface after triboelectrification becomes more negative. The kinetics of hydrogen isotopic exchange over fiberglass materials and reference samples (SiO2, H3PO4/SiO2, and HZSM-5) was studied at 500 °C under the dynamic adsorption–desorption equilibrium. The concentrations and H/D-exchange rates of different Brønsted acid sites (BAS) were determined using the numerical modeling of isotope exchange dynamics. The correlation between H/D-exchange rate of reference samples and their acidity determined by FTIR spectroscopy of adsorbed CO was established. Based on this correlation, the strength of BAS in fiberglass materials was shown to be comparable to that of HZSM-5 zeolite. 相似文献

Even simple and relatively safe provocation procedures like nasal allergen challenges, should aim to allow detection of positivity with the less possible discomfort to the patient. The objective of this work was to evaluate if the use of rhinomanometric measurements during nasal provocation procedures could allow a decrease in the total administered allergen dose, causing less symptoms to the patients but without increasing the number of false-negatives, comparatively to clinical scores or nasal peak-flow measurements. Our results showed that performing rhinomanometric measurements during nasal HDM challenge procedures can lead in many patients to a reduction in the total dose of allergen administered during the challenge, without loss of sensitivity or specificity. We studied whether ambulatory utilization review (UR) alters how many patients internal medicine residents refer to sub-specialists, and whether the effect persists without reinforcement. We compared referral rates of residents from a firm that held UR meetings (intervention firm residents, n = 20) with those of residents from a firm that did not (control firm residents, n = 21). We then compared referral rates of 17 intervention firm residents while they were participating in UR with their rates after not participating for at least 4 weeks. Intervention firm residents submitted 30% fewer referrals than control firm residents (9% vs 13%, p = .05). The chemical composition of yeast cells of Oidiodendron kalrai was analyzed and is expressed as percent dry weight. Cultures were grown in tryptone broth and in a liquid synthetic medium containing ammonium salts as a nitrogen source. After 48 h, carbohydrate levels were higher in the synthetic medium, but lipid levels were lower, Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), ribonucleic acid (RNA), and protein contents did not differ significantly in the two media. The chemical components were also studied at different stages of growth. DNA remained relatively constant, but other components varied with the age of culture. The RNA was 6.6% at 18 h and declined rapidly to 5% by 24 h and remained constant, An initial protein content of 23% at 18 h increased rapidly to 37% by 48 h and gradually declined to 30% by day 10. The lipid content of 33% at 18 h decreased over the entire growth period to 10% by day 10. An initial carbohydrate level of 30% increased to a maximum of 54% by day 5 and then declined. 相似文献
