The influence of ammonium, threonine, isoleucine and valine on the activity of threonine deaminase and the biosynthesis of avermectins in the culture of two mutants of Streptomyces avermitilis, i.e. a sensitive one and a resistant one with respect to alpha-amino-beta-oxyvaleric acid, a threonine antimetabolite, was studied. It was shown that the synthesis of threonine deaminase was induced by threonine and valine in the mycelium of both the mutants. The level of threonine deaminase was higher in the mycelium of the antimetabolite resistant mutant. The antibiotic activity of the resistant mutant was lower while the relative content of the group B avermectins in the pool of the synthesized avermectins was higher than that in the culture of the sensitive mutant.  相似文献

Investigation of glycogen function in hepatocytes of different liver lobule zones is particularly important in understanding glycogen metabolism in humans and animals in norm and pathology. The present study was done to investigate glycogen contents in hepatocytes of different lobule zones of human liver in norm, and in patients with chronic hepatitis of viral or alcohol etiology. Quantitative analysis of glycogen content in hepatocytes of portal and central lobule zones was conducted on slices of human liver (the material of series live punctional biopsies) stained using a quantitative variant of PAS-reaction (Kudryavtseva et al., 1970, 1974). The measurements were done by image analyzer , which allows to make jointly cytophotometric analysis of substance in cells and definition of cell localization in tissue. The results showed clear differences of glycogen contents in different lobule zones in normal liver and in liver during chronic viral and alcohol hepatitis. Glycogen contents in hepatocytes of portal lobule zone were significantly higher than in the central lobule zone in patients with chronic viral hepatitis. Opposite data were obtained in patients with chronic alcohol hepatitis. Significantly higher glycogen contents were found in hepatocytes of the central liver lobule zone. Possible mechanisms of such a phenomenon are discussed . Thus, if glycogen contents in hepatocytes may be taken as an indicator of liver chronic damage degree (as has been shown elsewhere: Kudryavtseva, 1987; Kudryavtseva et al., 1988) the pattern of distribution of hepatocytes with different glycogen content in the liver lobule can be used as an indicator of etiology of chronic hepatitis. The obtained data seem to be important and actual, particularly for diagnostic of subclinical and symptomless forms of these diseases. Further investigation is required to find out reasons and mechanisms of this phenomenon.  相似文献

RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES: We compared adverse reactions and image quality for hysterosalpingography (HSG) performed with ionic (diatrizoate meglumine combined with iodipamide meglumine [DM + IM]) and nonionic (iohexol) contrast media. METHODS: We performed a study of 95 patients who had HSG and were randomly selected to receive DM + IM or iohexol. Patients reported episodes of abdominal pain and other adverse reactions immediately and 24 hr after the procedure and categorized severity of symptoms on a subjective scale. Two radiologists evaluated image quality for diagnosis. RESULTS: Prevalence of abdominal pain and other reactions both immediately and 24 hr after HSG was lower in patients who received iohexol than in patients who received DM + IM. Moderate or severe abdominal pain was significantly lower in the iohexol group than in the DM + IM group (p < .05). Visualization of the uterine cavity and ampullary rugae was judged excellent with both contrast media (87% with iohexol and 92% with DM + IM). CONCLUSION: Iohexol and DM + IM are excellent contrast media for use during HSG; iohexol 300 may cause fewer episodes of more severe and prolonged abdominal pain.  相似文献

Multineuronal activity was studied in unrestrained cats with bundles of seven electrodes (tips dia. 50 mcm) chronically implanted in the auditory and motor cortex. Spikes of the highest and lowest amplitude were isolated from each neurogram by an amplitude discriminator. Functional connections between neurones located under different electrodes at a distance of up 540 mcm were defined by statistical dependence of the isolated spike series. In the auditory cortex, the distance at which it was possible to detect connections between high amplitude neurones (H-H) did not exceed 450 mcm, while between low amplitude neurones (L-L) it was 270 mcm. In the motor cortex, dependent relations for similar pairs of neurones (H-H) and (L-L) were found at all the studied distances up to 540 mcm. For mixed neuronal pairs (H-L and L-H) functional connections at different distances were differently expressed at various distances.  相似文献

An evaluation was done of the state of bulbar microcirculation and aggregability of blood platelets in 47 patients presenting with early manifestations of cerebral circulatory insufficiency. A correlation was established between the revealed disturbances in the microcirculatory bed and augmentation of aggregational activity of thrombocytes. Computation of the integrative guide, microcirculatory-rheologic index, reflecting objectively the degree of intravascular hemocirculatory disorders has been performed. Treatment with calcium antagonist corinfar, antihypoxic agent actovegin was of particular benefit for the patients when administered in combination; more than half of the parameters characterizing microcirculation, rheologic properties of blood, microcirculatory-rheologic index have all returned to normal.  相似文献
