The phenomenon of crystal growth in the methanol synthesis catalyst has been studied. Crystallite size distributions in the cuo/ZnO/Al2O3 methanol synthesis catalyst have been determined. The effects of temperature, reaction environment and time under reaction conditions have been studied. It is observed that water in the reaction mixture promotes crystal growth.  相似文献

We describe a new methodology for the “in situ” identification of wire-bond degradation at early stages during high-temperature aging tests on devices with standard plastic packages. This methodology is based on the measurement of the changes in wire bond resistance, which is deduced from the I(V) characteristics of the ESD protection diodes on each contact pad of the circuit. In a first stage, the measurement procedure is described, with emphasis on the initial temperature calibration. This procedure allows for an “in situ” measurement sequence, where the packages stay in the aging chamber, at elevated temperature, during the electrical tests on the pad connections performed at different aging durations. By following accurately the package temperature, using a thermocouple, it is possible to correct for slight changes and thus get a reliable IV measurement for each interconnection. In the second stage, the aging test results are described, showing the evolution of each individual interconnection. We were able to identify the onset of wire-bond degradation through the progressive increase of their resistance. To allow for better determination of the degradation process, once an increase in wire bond resistance was detected, complete I(V) curves were recorded at the pin(s) of interest. For each pin of a TQFP64 package, the tests were performed at least twice a day, with increased density when initial failure is detected (one complete measurement every 3 h). This strategy allowed for the detection of different behaviors on the wire bonds: good ball bonds (i.e. ball bonds with no change in their resistance), ball bond with intermittent opens (these ball bonds are in the process of degradation, and thermo-mechanical stresses induced in the resin by very small temperature changes are sufficient to open or close the circuits) and completely destroyed ball bonds, for which the resistance stays in an “high” level. This approach to wire-bond degradation in plastic packages is very powerful in terms of the number of interconnections which can be followed “in real time” and especially has the advantage, over other classical approaches, that the devices under test stay operational, contrary to what occurs with other types of destructive testing. These electrical test results are compared with metallographic investigations performed after a series of mechanical tests on the ball bonds (wire pull/ball shear tests) on a set of identical devices which undergone exactly the same High Temperature Storage (HTS) aging for 2000 h at 165 °C.  相似文献

This work aims to study the mechanisms of oxygen bubble formation coming from redox reaction of a polyvalent element incorporated in a glass melt. Borosilicate glass composition is selected for its use as a glass matrix for nuclear waste conditioning. Cerium is selected as a polyvalent element as it may be found in nuclear waste. The chosen material is characterized in terms of physical properties which influence bubble formation and growth. A postmortem optical microscope approach is used to observe bubbles in the investigated material after thermal treatment for varying temperatures (900°C-1100°C) and durations. To support the understanding of oxygen bubble formation, cerium speciation by X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) and bubble gas composition are experimentally evaluated. In this article, we indicate how bubbles are formed in the investigated glass melt system. It is also demonstrated that the mechanisms that govern bubble evolution are fundamentally the same and that the plot's optimum points are strongly influenced by the temperature. These last statements are confirmed by considering some bubble features, such as bubble mean density and bubble mean diameter evolutions, and normalizing the experimental time using a characteristic residence time (tη) obtaining thereafter a dimensionless time, which is a function of the glass melt properties obtained by the physical characterizations. Toluene degradation performances were studied in a 10 L Two-Phase Partitioning Bioreactor (TPPB).The liquid phase consisted of a mixture of water and PDMS 50 (PolyDiMethylSiloxane,i.e.silicone oil,viscosity of 46 maa·s) in the volume ratio of 75%/25%.Two series of experiments were carried out:in the first,the reactor was sequentially supplied with toluene whereas in the second,toluene was continuously supplied.Activated sludge from the wastewater treatment plant of Beaurade (Rennes,France) was used at an initial concentration of 0.5 dry mass g· (mixture L)-1.The elimination capacity (EC) was investigated as well as the change in biomass concentration over time.Toluene biodegradation was very efficient (removal efficiency,RE =100%) for toluene flows ranging from 0.2 to 1.2 ml· h-1,corresponding to elimination capacities of up to 104 g· m-3· h-1.For a toluene flow of 1.2 ml·h-1,the biomass concentration measured at the end of the experiment was 4.7 dry mass g.(mixture L)-1.The oxygen concentration in the liquid phase was clearly not a limiting factor in these operating conditions.Based on these results,an extrapolation leading to the design of a large-scale pilot TPPB can now be considered to study toluene degradation performances in industrial conditions.  相似文献

对熔盐电解质中硅的沉积过程进行电化学研究。在 973~223K,在硅氯化物熔盐中采用电解精炼提纯金属硅。结果表明,液态硅铜合金阳极有利于 CaCl2-NaCl-CaO-Si 熔盐体系的电解精炼。ICP-AES 分析结果显示,通过电解精炼可有效去除原料中大量的钛、铝、铁等金属杂质,硅中的硼和磷含量分别由 36×106和 25×106降低至 4.6×10 6和 2.8×10 6,电解能耗约为 9.3 kW·h/kg。  相似文献

Three muscles (Longissimus thoracis, Semimembranosus, Biceps femoris) of 40 young bulls from 3 breeds were used to quantify structural characteristics of bovine connective tissue by image analysis, with both macroscopic and microscopic approaches. Collagen and proteoglycan content was also investigated. Perimysium occupied a greater area (8 vs 6%), and was wider (42 vs 2 μm) and shorter per unit area (1.9 vs 30 mm mm− 2) than endomysium. Perimysium and endomysium from Longissimus were thinner, less ramified than in Biceps. Longissimus showed less total collagen and cross-linking and more proteoglycans (P < 0.0001) than Biceps muscle. Blond d'Aquitaine perimysium occupied less area, was more ramified and muscles contained less collagen, cross-linking and more proteoglycans than Angus (P < 0.001). Limousin was intermediate. High proteoglycan content in muscle containing less total collagen suggested a complementarity between these molecules. They might influence mechanical properties of intramuscular connective tissue. This was especially true given that proteoglycans and total collagen were negatively and positively linked with structural parameters, respectively.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of structural and biochemical characteristics of muscle intramuscular connective tissue on beef quality. The experimental design was based on three muscles of three breeds sampled as fresh material and cooked at 55 °C (Longissimus thoracis and Semimembranosus) or at 70 °C (Semimembranosus and Biceps femoris) for quality assessment. The results showed that muscle characteristics influence beef quality differently from one muscle to another. In grilled LT, proteoglycan content contributed negatively to juiciness, and intramuscular lipids were linked positively to tenderness, flavour, residues and overall liking scores. In grilled SM, cross-link and lipid contents were involved in beef quality. In BF cooked to 70 °C, perimysial branch points were negatively linked to tenderness. In SM cooked to 70 °C, perimysial area was involved in beef quality. These results should allow a better understanding of the factors involved in background toughness, in juiciness and flavour of meat.  相似文献

Gaining insight into the mechanisms of signal transduction networks (STNs) by using critical features from patient-specific mathematical models can improve patient stratification and help to identify potential drug targets. To achieve this, these models should focus on the critical STNs for each cancer, include prognostic genes and proteins, and correctly predict patient-specific differences in STN activity. Focussing on colorectal cancer and the WNT STN, we used mechanism-based machine learning models to identify genes and proteins with significant associations to event-free patient survival and predictive power for explaining patient-specific differences of STN activity. First, we identified the WNT pathway as the most significant pathway associated with event-free survival. Second, we built linear-regression models that incorporated both genes and proteins from established mechanistic models in the literature and novel genes with significant associations to event-free patient survival. Data from The Cancer Genome Atlas and Clinical Proteomic Tumour Analysis Consortium were used, and patient-specific STN activity scores were computed using PROGENy. Three linear regression models were built, based on; (1) the gene-set of a state-of-the-art mechanistic model in the literature, (2) novel genes identified, and (3) novel proteins identified. The novel genes and proteins were genes and proteins of the extant WNT pathway whose expression was significantly associated with event-free survival. The results show that the predictive power of a model that incorporated novel event-free associated genes is better compared to a model focussing on the genes of a current state-of-the-art mechanistic model. Several significant genes that should be integrated into future mechanistic models of the WNT pathway are DVL3, FZD5, RAC1, ROCK2, GSK3B, CTB2, CBT1, and PRKCA. Thus, the study demonstrates that using mechanistic information in combination with machine learning can identify novel features (genes and proteins) that are important for explaining the STN heterogeneity between patients and their association to clinical outcomes.  相似文献

Plutonium trichloride solution in the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic was prepared by carbochlorination of plutonium oxide. Kinetics of this reaction was compared in different conditions in the range of 443-550 °C. Using this molten salt solution, the redox potential of the Pu(III)/Pu couple at inert tungsten electrode was measured at 450 °C by electromotive force measurement and was found to be E = −2.76 V vs. the Cl2(g)(1 atm)/Cl reference electrode (molar fraction scale). Reaction between plutonium trichloride and oxide ions was studied by potentiometric titration, using yttria stabilized electrodes. In our experimental conditions, the titration curves indicate the precipitation of the sesquioxide Pu2O3. The solubility product cologarithm calculated from these curves is found to be pKs(Pu2O3) = 22.8 ± 1.1 (molality scale). Using the experimentally obtained values for E, activity coefficient and pKs joined to the published thermodynamic data, the stability phase diagram of the Pu-O species was then drawn.  相似文献

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), as an alternative to open heart surgery, has revolutionized the treatment of severe aortic valve stenosis (AVS), the most common valvular disorder in the elderly. AVS is now considered a form of atherosclerosis and, like the latter, partly of inflammatory origin. Patients with high-grade AVS have a highly disturbed blood flow associated with high levels of shear stress. The immediate reopening of the valve during TAVR leads to a sudden restoration of a normal blood flow hemodynamic. Despite its good prognosis for patients, TAVR remains associated with bleeding or thrombotic postprocedural complications, involving mechanisms that are still poorly understood. Many studies report the close link between blood coagulation and inflammation, termed thromboinflammation, including monocytes as a major actor. The TAVR procedure represents a unique opportunity to study the influence of shear stress on human monocytes, key mediators of inflammation and hemostasis processes. The purpose of this study was to conduct a review of the literature to provide a comprehensive overview of the impact of TAVR on monocyte phenotype and subset repartition and the association of these parameters with the clinical outcomes of patients with severe AVS who underwent TAVR.  相似文献
