A novel MoB–CoCr alloy coating was deposited onto stainless steel (2Cr13) substrate using a detonation gun (D-gun) spraying
technique. Microstructures of the powder and coating were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning election microscopy
(SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and a quantitative determination of the adhesion strength of the coating
was calculated by combination of modified four-point bending (4PB) test and finite element analysis (FEA) simulation. The
results show that the coating mainly consists of ternary transition metal boride matrix phases (CoMo2B2, MoCoB) and binary borides (MoB and CrB). Nanocrystalline grains with a size of 50–100 nm were observed in the coating. The
average energy release rate and phase angle are 191.2 J m−2 and 41.7o, respectively, which show strong bond strength compared to other reported values. 相似文献

本文主要研究了镍基变形高温合金在不同热处理过程中g′相的析出、形貌、尺寸及分布行为。通过扫描电镜观察分析高温固溶热处理后连续冷却、中断固溶冷却以及等温时效淬火后的组织构成。研究结果表明,固溶处理后连续冷去过程中,当冷却速率较高时,二次g′尺寸大小均匀,呈现单峰分布,随着冷却速率降低,二次g′尺寸增加,逐渐聚集长大并呈现花状形貌;当等温时效过程中二次g′周围过冷度重新建立,随后淬火过程中会产生三次g′,三次g′与二次g′构成双峰分布。在此基础上,探讨了g′相析出及演化对合金热变形行为的影响。 相似文献

The microstructure and grain refining performance of an Al–5Ti–1B master alloy prepared under high-intensity ultrasound were investigated. With applying continuous high-intensity ultrasound vibrations in the reaction, the Al–5Ti–1B master alloy is successfully manufactured in 4 min. Compared with conventional Al–5Ti–1B master alloys, the mean size and the size spread of TiB2 particles in the prepared master alloy are evidently decreased. The narrower particle size spread significantly improves the grain refining performance of the master alloy, which proves the calculation predictions by Greer. Consequently, the limiting grain size of commercial purity aluminium refined by the new master alloy can reach 45 μm. 相似文献

Cylinder-like in-situ AI/24Si FGMs were produced by using electromagnetic separating process. Si primary phase reinforced layer with volume fraction as high as 16 pct was formed at the outer region of the cylinder-like samples where the local hardness and wear resistance were enhanced remarkably. Moreover, both of strength and ductility in the inner region provided insurance of reliable strength for this as-cast gradient material. A new dendrite morphology, anaxial columnar dendrites, was found in directional solidification using the real-time X-ray imaging technique. The dendrites are composed of a pair of stems, which are divided by a narrow liquid zone located in their center. The formation process of a free dendrite in the melt indicates that it grows along < 110> directions. According to the basic morphology of the dendrites, a tip model was developed to explain the growth preference of the secondary arms. The formation of anaxial columnar dendrites indicates that the dendrite morphology is closely related to the selection of the growth direction of the dendrites. 相似文献
