In this work we propose a modification to the conventional lumped equivalent circuit model for integrated inductors. Also the widely used parametric model is modified. The proposed models expand the frequency range where the integrated inductor behavior is accurately predicted. They are useful in developing automatic tools to assist the designers in selecting and automatically laying-out integrated inductors [1]. This work is based on measurements from integrated inductors fabricated in a standard silicon process.  相似文献

Fruit and vegetables are much appreciated by consumers due to their nutritional values and health-promoting compounds. However, different factors affect the postharvest life of such products, in where ethylene is a major one, even at low concentrations, besides temperature and relative humidity. Therefore, high attention has been focused on the development of effective tools to remove ethylene from the atmosphere surrounding these products during storage or in transit. Potassium permanganate scrubbers are one of the most used technologies to remove ethylene from horticultural products. To facilitate and improve the oxidation process, potassium permanganate has been supported onto inert solid materials of a small particle size. In this review, we aim to provide an outline of the most common materials used as potassium permanganate supports on postharvest treatment and their respective effects on quality aspects of various fresh produce during postharvest life. Vermiculite, activated alumina, zeolite, silica gel, activated carbon and clays are the most popular materials that have been used as a support of potassium permanganate-based ethylene scrubbers. The literature suggests that potassium permanganate supported onto silica gel or zeolite seems to be a promising tool to maintain fruit and vegetables quality attributes for long-term storage. Although vermiculite and activated alumina are the most commonly used materials to reach this goal, not promising results have been reported.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate lactobacilli for potential probiotic use in Iberian dry-fermented sausages. A total of 18 strains, previously selected, isolated from different sources were evaluated according to safety and functional characteristics including biogenic amines and d-lactic acid production, antibiotic susceptibility, haemolysis, cell adhesion, and antimicrobial activity against food-borne pathogens. The strains Lactobacillus reuteri PL519, L. reuteri PL542, and Lactobacillus fermentum HL57 were able to establish their self on the intestinal epithelium, and an inhibition of such pathogenic bacteria as Listeria monocytogenesin vitro. These strains were also considered safe to be used with regard to their low aminogenic potential and d-lactic acid production, antibiotic resistance pattern and haemolytic activity. Thus, they were selected as a potential probiotic meat starter culture suitable for manufacture of dry-fermented Iberian sausages.  相似文献

For the first time, a mixed-mode solid-phase extraction with fractionation of basic analytes from neutral and acidic species during cartridge elution and liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-QTOF-MS) was combined for the quantitative determination of 24 illicit drugs and metabolites in urban sewage samples. The effects of several sample preparation and instrumental parameters in the sensitivity and selectivity of the quantitative method are thoroughly discussed. Under final working conditions, recoveries above 63% and 82% were attained for all species in raw and treated sewage, respectively; whereas, the limits of quantification of the method, defined for a signal-to-noise of 10 (S/N = 10), ranged from 2 to 50 ng L(-1). Sequential elution of mixed-mode cartridges allowed a significant reduction of matrix effects observed during electrospray ionization of basic drugs versus those measured for hydrophilic balance reversed-phase sorbents and the same mixed-mode polymer without fractionated elution. Analysis of raw wastewater samples confirmed the ubiquity of cocaine (COC), benzoylecgonine (BE), and 11-nor-9-carboxy-Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THCCOOH) in this matrix. The capability of the above methodology to identify new illicit drugs and/or metabolites in sewage samples is also discussed. With this aim, a two step strategy is proposed. First, high-resolution MS chromatograms, acquired throughout each chromatographic run, are automatically searched against an in-house built database, a reduced list of candidate drugs is generated, and the corresponding extracted ion chromatograms are obtained. In a further LC run, the tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) spectra of unknown peaks are acquired using different collision energies and compared with those existing in public libraries, or interpreted, to assign the unknown peak to one of the previously selected candidates.  相似文献

The possibility of using the water-gas shift (WGS) step for tuning the H2/CO-ratio in synthesis gas produced from gasified biomass has been investigated in the CHRISGAS (Clean Hydrogen Rich Synthesis Gas) project. The synthesis gas produced will contain contaminants such as H2S, NH3 and chloride components. As the most promising candidate FeCr catalyst, prepared in the laboratory, was tested. One part of the work was conducted in a laboratory set up with simulated gases and another part in real gases in the 100 kW Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) gasifier at Delft University of Technology. Used catalysts from both tests have been characterized by XRD and N2 adsoption/desorption at ?196 °C.In the first part of the laboratory investigation a laboratory set up was built. The main gas mixture consisted of CO, CO2, H2, H2O and N2 with the possibility to add gas or water-soluble contaminants, like H2S, NH3 and HCl, in low concentration (0–3 dm3 m?3). The set up can be operated up to 2 MPa pressure at 200–600 °C and run un-attendant for 100 h or more. For the second part of the work a catalytic probe was developed that allowed exposure of the catalyst by inserting the probe into the flowing gas from gasified biomass.The catalyst deactivates by two different causes. The initial deactivation is caused by the growth of the crystals in the active phase (magnetite) and the higher crystallinity the lower specific surface area. The second deactivation is caused by the presence of catalytic poisons in the gas, such as H2S, NH3 and chloride that block the active surface.The catalyst subjected to sulphur poisoning shows decreased but stable activity. The activity shows strong decrease for the ammonia and HCl poisoned catalysts. It seems important to investigate the levels of these compounds before putting a FeCr based shift step in industrial operation. The activity also decreased after the catalysts had been exposed to gas from gasified biomass. The exposed catalysts are not re-activated by time on stream in the laboratory set up, which indicates that the decrease in CO2-ratio must be attributed to irreversible poisoning from compounds present in the gas from the gasifier.It is most likely that the FeCr catalyst is suitable to be used in a high temperature shift step, for industrial production of synthesis gas from gasified biomass if sulphur is the only poison needed to be taken into account. The ammonia should be decomposed in the previous catalytic reformer step but the levels of volatile chloride in the gas at the shift step position are not known.  相似文献
