Proteolytic and lipolytic activities of ninePenicillium strain and oneMucor strain previously isolated from Spanish dry fermented sausages have been studied.P. camemberti STCC 2267 andAspergillus oryzae ATCC 9362 were also used. Myofibrillar and sarcoplasmic proteins as well as fat extracted from pork meat and -naphthyl acetate, -naphthyl caprilate and -naphthyl laurate were used as substrates. Mould strains were grown in an enrichment medium prepared at pH 5.5 and 7.0 and malt extract broth. Strains were incubated at 18°C and 22°C. Myofibrillar proteins and -naphthyl caprilate were the most hydrolysed substrates. The greater enzymatic activities were observed at a pH 7.0 and 22°C. However, five mould strains showed considerable enzymatic activities under conditions similar to those used for ripening dry fermented sausages. These strains can be assayed as potential starter cultures for industrial sausage production.  相似文献

Photographic supra-projection is a forensic process that aims to identify a missing person from a photograph and a skull found. One of the crucial tasks throughout all this process is the craniofacial superimposition which tries to find a good fit between a 3D model of the skull and the 2D photo of the face. This photographic supra-projection stage is usually carried out manually by forensic anthropologists. It is thus very time consuming and presents several difficulties. In this paper, we aim to demonstrate that real-coded evolutionary algorithms are suitable approaches to tackle craniofacial superimposition. To do so, we first formulate this complex task in forensic identification as a numerical optimization problem. Then, we adapt three different evolutionary algorithms to solve it: two variants of a real-coded genetic algorithm and the state of the art evolution strategy CMA-ES. We also consider an existing binary-coded genetic algorithm as a baseline. Results on several superimposition problems of real-world identification cases solved by the Physical Anthropology lab at the University of Granada (Spain) are considered to test our proposals.  相似文献

The transient response of cracked composite materials made of piezoelectric and piezomagnetic phases, when subjected to in-plane magneto-electro-mechanical dynamic loads, is addressed in this paper by means of a mixed boundary element method (BEM) approach. Both the displacement and traction boundary integral equations (BIEs) are used to develop a single-domain formulation. The convolution integrals arising in the time-domain BEM are numerically computed by Lubich’s quadrature, which determines the integration weights from the Laplace transformed fundamental solution and a linear multistep method. The required Laplace-domain fundamental solution is derived by means of the Radon transform in the form of line integrals over a unit circumference. The singular and hypersingular BIEs are numerically evaluated in a precise and efficient manner by a regularization procedure based on a simple change of variable, as previously proposed by the authors for statics. Discontinuous quarter-point elements are used to properly capture the behavior of the extended crack opening displacements (ECOD) around the crack-tip and directly evaluate the field intensity factors (stress, electric displacement and magnetic induction intensity factors) from the computed nodal data. Numerical results are obtained to validate the formulation and illustrate its capabilities. The effect of the combined application of electric, magnetic and mechanical loads on the dynamic field intensity factors is analyzed in detail for several crack configurations under impact loading.  相似文献

In this paper, a prototype for progressive transmission of medical digital 2D images through the network, called CASANDRA, is presented. The prototype consists of the server part and the client part. In the server part, the images are acquired, stored, computed their wavelet transform and the wavelet coefficients stored, then transmitted progressively, when required, via TCP to the client. In the client part, with the inverse wavelet transform, the received wavelet coefficients are used to build successive improved reconstructions of the image.This prototype has been implemented and is being tested in the Radiotherapy Service of the Valencia University Hospital (Valencia, Spain).  相似文献

It is described the case of a patient with Ovarian Cystadenoma in whom a 3.5 cm nodular lesion was accidentally detected in her left suprarenal gland. She had no signs of hypercortisolism or any other suprarenal pathology and was symptomless. Determinations in the urine of 24 hours of Cortisol, Adrenaline and Noradrenaline, 17-ketosteroids and Tetrahydroaldosterone were normal. Daily rhythm and plasmatic determinations of ACTH, cortisol and 11-deoxycortisol were normal. The Dexamethasone suppression test was also normal. In the suprarenal gammagraphy it appeared an intense captation by left suprarenal without visualization of right gland. A left suprarenalectomy was performed and the anatomopathological analysis showed a clear cell corticoadrenal adenoma. Therefore the only data of the function of suprarenal adenoma was the one coming from gammagraphy. We thought that the adenoma was responsible of practically all the corticoadrenal function without reaching pathological levels, meeting the criteria of "pre-Cushing" syndrome or subclinical Cushing, due to the fact that the contralateral gland was not seen in the gammagraphy. Therefore in the characterization of certain tumors which appear clinically and biochemically as non functional, the suprarenal gammagraphy could be a technique of great usefulness for the diagnosis.  相似文献

Microindentation hardness has been applied to a series of injection-moulded poly(ethylene terephtalate) samples prepared using a range of mould temperatures, T c. The morphology of the samples was characterized by X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. Depending on T c, it is shown that microhardness is lower at the surface than in the core of the mouldings. Results are discussed in terms of the volume fraction of spherulites filling the mouldings which is shown to be dependent upon T c. The influence of an annealing treatment on the properties of the mouldings is examined. The microhardness values are correlated with the thickness and with the surface free energy of the lamellar crystals. The results obtained indicate that increasing annealing temperatures first leads to an increase and then to a sudden decrease of hardness. The latter can be associated with the changes occurring in the number of defects on the crystal's surface.  相似文献

It is not generally appreciated that pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) can be associated with epidermal perforation by elastic fibers. We report an example of this phenomenon. The term "perforating PXE" is suggested and a distinction is made from elastosis perforans serpiginosa (EPS). We believe that most reported cases of coexistence of PXE and EPS are perforating PXE and that the coexistence of EPS has not been clearly demonstrated.  相似文献

Analysis of non-localized creep induced strains and stresses in notches   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A method for the estimation of time-dependent strains and stresses induced in notches has been developed. The aim of the method is to generate a solution for the creep strain and stress at the notch root based on the linear-elastic stress state, the constitutive law, and the material creep model. The proposed solution is an extension of Neuber’s total strain energy density rule for the case of time-independent deformation. The method was derived for both localized and non-localized creep in a notched body. Predictions were compared with finite element data and good agreement was obtained for various geometrical and material configurations in plane stress conditions.  相似文献
