Magnetorheological(MR)fluid is colloidal suspension and stiffens into semi-solid when subjected to a magnetic field.In order to investigate the effect of magnetic field on lubrication property of MR fluid with nano-silica additives,a pin-on-disc tribometer is used to carry out friction and wear experiment of steel under the magnetic field.The MR fluids with different additive concentrations are prepared and their theological properties are examined via a rotational rheometer.Different lubrication performance of the MR fluid with nano-silica additives with and without magnetic field is presented.In addition,through observing the morphology and analyzing the elemental composition of the worn surfaces,the effects of additives on the lubrication property are investigated.  相似文献

Sesame lignan extract was prepared from roasted sesame oil and added at 0.02, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.20% (w/w) to linoleic acid and ground pork products. Cooked ground pork containing more than 0.02% of lignan extract showed TBA values lower than those containing butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) during storage. Sausages containing 0.05% of lignan extract had lower thiobarbituric acid (TBA) values when stored at 4C for 14 days; they also showed higher CIE color values than the control meat sample (P < 0.05). There were no differences in textural properties such as hardness, cohesiveness and chewiness between the control and the sausages containing lignan extract when determined by Instron Testing Machine. Thus, lignan extract prepared from roasted sesame oils was highly antioxidative when used in cooked ground pork at > 0.02% or in sausages at > 0.05%.  相似文献

In this work, the damage and penetration behavior of aluminum foam at various types of impact were examined through experiments. The impact energy of a striker was applied on the fixed aluminum foam having a thickness of 25 mm while increasing its impact by 2 J at each strike from 6 J to 16 J. The results show that the impact energies from 6 J to 12 J could not penetrate aluminum foam. However, the aluminum foam applied with the impact energy of 12 J incurred severe damages on its lower part. Finally, the aluminum foam applied with the impact energy of 14 J was penetrated. The striker having the impact energy of 6 J could penetrate aluminum foam around 10 mm. At this moment, aluminum foam could absorb the impact energy of around 9 J. When the impact energy of 14 J was applied on the aluminum foam, the aluminum foam was penetrated and it absorbed the impact energy of around 17.2 J. It is possible to create the safer structure against impact using the results of this work. The simulation results for the verification of the experimental results imply that the results for all the experiments in this work are reliable. It is possible to predict the structural safety of the aluminum foam for an impact if the impact behavior of aluminum foam performed in this work is utilized.  相似文献

Rough set theory, suggested by Pawlak in 1982, has been useful in AI, machine learning, knowledge acquisition, knowledge discovery from databases, expert systems, inductive reasoning, etc. One of the main advantages of rough sets is that they do not need any preliminary or additional information about data and are capable to reduce superfluous information. However, their significant disadvantage in real applications is that inferences are not real values but disjoint intervals of real values. In order to overcome this difficulty, we propose a new approach in which rough set theory and neuro-fuzzy fusion are combined to obtain the optimal rule base from input/output data. These results are applied to the rule construction for inferring the temperature at specified points in a refrigerator.  相似文献

For the improvement of the fatigue strength for welded structures, mechanical posttreatments have been applied in various industrial fields and in most cases have been found to give substantial increases in their fatigue lives. These methods, generally, consist of the modification of weld toe geometry and the introduction of compressive residual stresses. In mechanical surface treatments, for example, PHP (pneumatic hammer peening) and UNSM (ultrasonic nanocrystal surface modification), the weld profile is modified due to removed or reduced minute crack‐like flaws, and compressive residual stresses are also induced. In this study, a PHP procedure and a UNSM device were introduced, and a quantitative measure of fatigue strength improvement was performed. The fatigue strength at 2 × 106 cycles of hammer‐peened and UNSM treated on a non‐load‐carrying cruciform welded joint shows 220 and 260 MPa, respectively, which are more than two times higher than that of as‐welded specimen. Especially, the surface layer in the vicinity weld toe treated by the UNSM provides nanocrystal structure created by an ultrasonic cold forging and introduces very high welding residual stress in compression.  相似文献

Recently,there has been an investigation of polishing processes that has considered new ultra-precision polishing technology for micro parts and optical parts such as those with aspheric and complex shapes.One suitable means of polishing complex shapes is to use a jet of abrasive fluid.However,aerodynamic disturbances and radial spreading are generated by the unstable polishing process of the jet on the surface of the workpiece when it is being polished.A method of jet stabilization has been proposed in which the original nozzle form of a jet of magnetorheological(MR)fluid contains abrasive particles that are magnetized using a magnetic.This paper details the design of an MR jet polishing system that uses an electromagnet,a nozzle,and a hydraulic unit to stabilize a slurry jet based on MR fluid,Second,for silica glass,the polishing spot and section profile are analyzed and the effect of the MR fluid jet polishing process is evaluated.The results of the experiment show that the removal profile is W-shaped and that,in this case,a stable can be proof of a distance of several tens of millimeters from the nozzle.Such results show the possibility of applying the proposed polishing method using MR fluids in ultra-precision micro and optical parts production processes.MR jet polishing shows great potential for use as a new type of precision surface polishing technology.In particular,this is a highly valuable process for the polishing of complex shapes such as micro parts,concaves parts,and cavities.  相似文献

Two algorithms for eigenvalue problems in piezoelectric finite element analyses are introduced. The first algorithm involves the use of Lanczos method with a new matrix storage scheme, while the second algorithm uses a Rayleigh quotient iteration scheme. In both solution methods, schemes are implemented to reduce storage requirements and solution time. Both solution methods also seek to preserve the sparsity structure of the stiffness matrix to realize major savings in memory. In the Lanczos method with the new storage scheme, the bandwidth of the stiffness matrix is optimized by mixing the electrical degree of freedom with the mechanical degrees of freedom. The unique structural pattern of the consistent mass matrix is exploited to reduce storage requirements. These major reductions in memory requirements for both the stiffness and mass matrices also provided large savings in computational time. In the Rayleigh quotient iteration method, an algorithm for generating good initial eigenpairs is employed to improve its overall convergence rate, and its convergence stability in the regions of closely spaced eigenvalues and repeated eigenvalues. The initial eigenvectors are obtained by interpolation from a coarse mesh. In order for this multi-mesh iterative method to be effective, an eigenvector of interest in the fine mesh must resemble an eigenvector in the coarse mesh. Hence, the method is effective for finding the set of eigenpairs in the low-frequency range, while the Lanczos method with a mixed electromechanical matrix can be used for any frequency range. Results of example problems are presented to show the savings in solution time and storage requirements of the proposed algorithms when compared with the existing algorithms in the literature.  相似文献

Production scheduling models that determine part mix ratios and detailed schedules do not usually account for deadlocks that can be caused by part flow. Deadlocks must be prevented for operational control (especially in automated systems). The major thrust of this paper is in developing a structured model for deadlock detection, avoidance and resolution caused by part flow in manufacturing systems. A system status graph can be constructed for the parts currently in the system. Deadlock detection amounts to determining deadlocks in the system status graph. On the other hand, deadlock avoidance amounts to restricting parts movement so that deadlocks are completely avoided in the future. While deadlock detection is a one-step look ahead procedure, deadlock avoidance is a complete look ahead procedure. Deadlock resolution or recovery amounts to judiciously using a limited queue to recover from deadlocks. Deadlock detection and avoidance are absolutely crucial to uninterrupted operation of automated manufacturing systems. A model based in graph theory has been formulated to detect and avoid deadlocks in automated manufacturing systems.  相似文献

A table liner for the vertical roller mill has been used to grind natural limestone. Unexpected fatigue failure accidents have occurred during portland cement manufacturing process. The design life of a table liner is 4 × 107 cycles, but the actual fatigue life of a table liner is 2 × 106 to 8 × 106 cycles. The fatigue crack of a table liner initiates from the outside edge of the grinding path of the limestone. When such a crack occurs, the table liner has to be replaced, and this requires 30% of the total maintenance cost of the vertical roller mill. Therefore, this study examines the fatigue failure of a table liner by plane‐bending fatigue test, stress measurement test, finite element analysis and fatigue fracture analysis.  相似文献
