A novel coupled-inductor commutation circuit is described. The circuit may also be used for inverters. It uses only two auxiliary thyristors, each operating in alternate cycles and eliminating the need for reversal of the commutating capacitor voltage. Trapped energy is fed back to the source. The output voltage is controllable from zero to the full input voltage. The commutation circuit can be connected to a voltage source other than that feeding the load. A DC chopper using this commutation scheme has been analysed and experimentally verified.  相似文献

Time synchronization of continuous phase modulation (CPM) signals over time selective, Rayleigh fading channels is considered. The Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) for this problem is studied for data-aided (DA) synchronization (i.e., known symbol sequence transmission) over a time-selective Rayleigh fading (i.e., Gaussian multiplicative noise) channel. Exact expressions for the bound are derived as well as simplified, approximate forms that enable derivation of a number of properties that describe the bound's dependence on key parameters such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), channel correlation, sampling rate, sequence length, and sequence choice. Comparison with the well-known slow fading (i.e., constant) channel bound is emphasized. Further simplifications are obtained for the special case of minimum phase keying (MSK), wherein it is shown how the bound may be used as a sequence design tool to optimize synchronization performance  相似文献

A coating emulsion was prepared using maltodextrins, carboxymethylcellulose, propileneglycol and a mixture of s orbit an fatty acid esters with an HLB of 6. The emulsion was sprayed on fully mature, unripened manila mangoes, which were the stored at 15 and 25C and 80–85% R.H. At 25C it was observed that rate CO2 production increased and lost in control fruits after 12 days of storage. Coated mangoes kept their rate CO2 production and suffered only 8% weight loss after 21 days of storage. After storage, the coating was washed out and fruits were allowed to ripen naturally, which occurred in 3–4 days. The results obtained from this study indicate that application of the hydrophobic coating extended the postharvest storage of mangoes for at least 20 days more than uncoated fruits.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider training-based symbol timing synchronization for continuous phase modulation over channels subject to flat, Rayleigh fading. A high signal-to-noise-ratio maximum-likelihood estimator based on a simplified channel correlation model is derived. The main objective is to reduce algorithm complexity to a single-dimensional search on the delay parameter, similar to that of the static-channel (slow fading) estimator. The asymptotic behavior of the algorithm is evaluated, and comparisons are made with the Cramer-Rao lower bound for the problem. Simulation results demonstrate highly improved performance over the conventional, static-channel delay estimator.  相似文献

It is established experimentally that the contact metal—wide-gap semiconductor (GaAs, GaP, GaN) with the Schottky barrier transforms into the ohmic contact either in the process of continuous heating or in the process of holding at an elevated temperature before the formation of any recrystallized layers. In this case, resistance of the contact reduced to the unit area increases as the temperature increases for semiconductors with a high dislocation density (GaP, GaN). It is assumed that in such contacts, the current flows along the metallic shunts, which shorten the layer of space charge and are formed by metal atoms diffused along the dislocation lines or other imperfections of the semiconductor. In semiconductors with a low dislocation density (GaAs), resistance of the ohmic contact per unit area decreases with increasing the temperature as it was expected for the thermionic mechanism of current flowing.  相似文献

A technique for fabricating many different wavelength lasers on the same wafer has been developed. High energy ion implantation was used to selectively blue shift the emission wavelength of an InP-based quantum well laser structure. This structure was then processed into fully functional broad-area lasers whose current threshold was unaffected by the implantation process, indicating extremely high material quality after bandgap-shifting. This process has the potential for the integration of not only different wavelength lasers, but also other devices, such as waveguides, detectors, modulators, etc., on a single wafer.  相似文献

The multimedia interactive conferencing application (MICA), a personal-workstation application for multipoint visual teleconferencing, is described. MICA allows people at two or more locations to share visual material such as documents, photographs, and computer screens in a highly interactive way. It supports the distribution, storage, retrieval, and high-quality display of visuals, real-time interaction by pointing and annotation, and meeting services facilities. The context of multimedia teleconferencing and computer-supported cooperative work is established, relating earlier research to the design of MICA. The services MICA offers are outlined. The handling, compression, and display of multiple media, and the design of a suitable user interface for MICA are discussed  相似文献

针对现有的电缆温度监测方法主要存在无法检测电缆内部温度和测温时易受到应力影响等缺点。针对此本文研究采用低反射率光栅(wFBG)阵列智能复合电力电缆温度监测技术,用于实时监测电缆内部及外部的温度分布情况。通过免应力光栅阵列,解决了复合电缆和光缆的过程中因光纤受力而影响光栅波长准确测量从而造成对温度的影响问题。系统通过检测wFBG波长漂移得到温度信息从而实现高灵敏度高空间分辨率的智能电缆的分布式温度在线监测。搭建了基于wFBG阵列的复合电力电缆实验系统,结果表明,该系统可以实现对电缆内部及外部温度的高精度、高空间分辨率分布式测量,电缆沿线空间分辨率达到10 cm,测温精度达到0.1℃。该低反射率光栅阵列智能复合电力电缆温度监测系统可以满足智能电网运行的实际需要。  相似文献

High levels of lectin activity were found in sixty cultivated and ten wild tepary (Phaseolus acutifolius) accessions. No lectin deficient varieties were observed and all examples studied contained both the phytohemagglutinin-E and L-like lectins previously described (Pusztai et al. 1987). There appeared to be no obvious differences between the wild and cultivated forms of the tepary lectins and all teparies studied contained lectin-like proteins in addition to the tepary lectins. One of the lectin related proteins (40 Kdalton subunit) was present in all teparies and may be comparable to arcelin, a lectin found in certain wild accessions of Phaselus vulgaris. All wild teparies contained a lectin related polypeptide of about 34 Kdaltons which appears to distinguish the wild teparies from the cultivated forms. Three tepary-common bean hybrids were examined and one hybrid was found to be expressing both tepary and common bean lectin genes.  相似文献
