Epitaxial PZT (001) thin films with a LaNiO3 bottom electrode were deposited by radio-frequency (RF) sputtering onto Si(001) single-crystal substrates with SrTiO3/TiN buffer layers. Pb(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 (PZT) samples were shown to consist of a single perovskite phase and to have an (001) orientation. The orientation relationship
was determined to be PZT(001)[110]∥LaNiO3(001)[110]∥SrTiO3 (001)[110]∥TiN(001)[110]∥Si(001)[110]. Atomic force microscope (AFM) measurements showed the PZT films to have smooth surfaces
with a roughness of 1.15 nm. The microstructure of the multilayer was studied using transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
Electrical measurements were conducted using both Pt and LaNiO3 as top electrodes. The measured remanent polarization P
r and coercive field E
c of the PZT thin film with Pt top electrodes were 23 μC/cm2 and 75 kV/cm, and were 25 μC/cm2 and 60 kV/cm for the PZT film with LaNiO3 top electrodes. No obvious fatigue after 1010 switching cycles indicated good electrical endurance of the PZT films using LaNiO3 electrodes, compared with the PZT film with Pt top electrodes showing a significant polarization loss after 108 cycles. A variable-gain amplifier with very low power consumption and wide tuning range is presented. The operational principle of this unique structure is discussed, its most important formulas are derived and its outstanding performance is verified by simulation in TSMC 0.18-μm N-well CMOS fabrication process. Owing to the novel zero-pole repositioning technique, the proposed circuit demonstrates very high frequency bandwidth of 79 MHz while drawing only 0.52 mA from 1.8 V power supply. The interesting results such as a very small core area of about 0.0025 mm2 as well as a wide linear-in-dB and constant-bandwidth tuning range of 68.2 dB along with a very low power consumption of 0.95 mW are achieved utilizing standard CMOS technology. The stability of the proposed VGA is verified through transient sinusoidal response analysis. Full process, voltage and temperature (PVT) variation analysis of the circuit is also investigated through Monte Carlo and corner case analysis in order to approve the robustness of the structure. Monte Carlo simulations show standard deviation values of 4.6 dB and 78.3 MHz in gain and gain-bandwidth product, respectively. These results show that our zero-pole repositioning method would lend itself well for use in low-power and high-frequency applications, especially in high-speed automatic gain control amplifiers. 相似文献

Adhesive interconnections are considered to be attractive alternatives to lead or lead-free solder interconnects because of
their lower processing temperatures and extendability to fine pitch applications. However, reliability issues, such as moisture-induced
delamination and viscoelastic relaxation of the adhesive in both steady-state and cyclic loading, continue to pose a challenge
to widespread implementation. To date, the static and cyclic relaxation characteristics of nonconductive adhesives (NCAs)
are yet to be understood. This paper attempts to provide insights into this static and cyclic relaxation behavior through
experimental characterization and modeling. The viscoelastic property of a typical NCA material was characterized, and a simulation
program with integrated circuit emphasis (SPICE) modeling program was used to model the cyclic relaxation behavior. The modeling
results were successfully validated with a series of experiments. This showed that cyclic relaxation of the adhesive can be
successfully modeled using linear-viscoelastic property. The phenomenon of slower relaxation of the adhesive under cyclic
loading than that in static loading suggests that accelerated reliability testing used in solder-joint fatigue durability
investigations may not be directly applicable to the adhesive interconnections. A rework methodology applicable to adhesive

We report a Fabry-Pérot resonator with spherical and flat mirrors to allow simultaneous electron-spin resonance (ESR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements that could be used for double magnetic resonance (DoMR). In order to perform simultaneous ESR and NMR measurements, the flat mirror must reflect millimeter wavelength electromagnetic waves and the resonator must have a high Q value (Q?>?3000) for ESR frequencies, while the mirror must simultaneously let NMR frequencies pass through. This requirement can be achieved by exploiting the difference of skin depth for the two frequencies, since skin depth is inversely proportional to the square root of the frequency. In consideration of the skin depth, the optimum conditions for conducting ESR and NMR using a gold thin film are explored by examining the relation between the Q value and the film thickness. A flat mirror with a gold thin film was fabricated by sputtering gold on an epoxy plate. We also installed a Helmholtz radio frequency coil for NMR and tested the system both at room and low temperatures with an optimally thick gold film. As a result, signals were obtained at 0.18 K for ESR and at 1.3 K for NMR. A flat-mirrored resonator with a thin gold film surface is an effective way to locate NMR coils closer to the sample being examined with DoMR. 相似文献

In this paper, we are interested in the problem of Blind Source Separation using a Second-order Statistics (SOS) method in order to separate autocorrelated and mutually independent sources mixed according to a bilinear (BL) model. In this context, we propose a new approach called Bilinear Second-order Blind Source Separation, which is an extension of linear SOS methods, devoted to separate sources present in BL mixtures. These sources, called extended sources, include the actual sources and their products. We first study the statistical properties of the different extended sources, in order to verify the assumption of identifiability when the actual sources are zero-mean and when they are not. Then, we present the different steps performed in order to estimate these actual centred sources and to extract the actual mixing parameters. Node localization is one of the most critical issues for wireless sensor networks, as many applications depend on the precise location of the sensor nodes. To attain precise location of nodes, an improved distance vector hop (IDV-Hop) algorithm using teaching learning based optimization (TLBO) has been proposed in this paper. In the proposed algorithm, hop sizes of the anchor nodes are modified by adding correction factor. The concept of collinearity is introduced to reduce location errors caused by anchor nodes which are collinear. For better positioning coverage, up-gradation of target nodes to assistant anchor nodes has been used in such a way that those target nodes are upgraded to assistant anchor nodes which have been localized in the first round of localization. For further improvement in localization accuracy, location of target nodes has been formulated as optimization problem and an efficient parameter free optimization technique viz. TLBO has been used. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is overall 47, 30 and 22% more accurate than DV-Hop, DV-Hop based on genetic algorithm (GADV-Hop) and IDV-Hop using particle swarm optimization algorithms respectively and achieves high positioning coverage with fast convergence. 相似文献

One of the challenges in massive-MIMO system is pilot contamination during the channel estimation process. Pilot contamination can cause error or inaccurate channel estimation process for future fifth generation (5G) downlink transmissions. This paper considers using a Wiener-based filter to smooth and predict the channel estimation to reduce the pilot contamination for more accurate CSI during channel estimation. The simulation results show that the Wiener-based smoothing and predicting technique reduces the effect of pilot contamination and increases the accuracy of CSI during channel estimation process. Wiener smoother (WS) is implemented based on Wiener-based filtering technique. The previous estimated CSI and weight coefficient vector are used to smooth the current estimated CSI by using block data formulation to reduce the effect of pilot contamination. However, WS technique suffers from pilot contamination due to pilot training. This motivates the development of two Wiener predictors (WP), known as WP1 and WP2. The WP1 and WP2 run a prediction technique for CSI and number of pilot training during the prediction period, which is missing from the original WS. Comparison results show that the proposed WS and WP outperforms the conventional minimum mean square error and least square, in terms of channel estimation error and per-cell rate. WP2 perform better than WS and WP1 because of the algorithm complexity that required more information to be updated, stored and processed for prediction. Thus, WP2 requires large computation and matrix operation compared to WS and WP1. The results indicate that the channel estimation error due to pilot contamination can be reduced by using the Wiener-based approaches. 相似文献

“Recently, various paradigms, for instance, device-to-device communications, LTE-unlicensed and cognitive radio based on an opportunistic spectrum access (OSA) are being envisioned to improve the average spectrum utilization. In OSA, secondary (unlicensed) users (SUs) need decision making policies (DMPs) to identify and transmit over optimum frequency bands without any interference to the primary (licensed) users as well as minimize the number of collisions among SUs. In this paper, we have proposed a two-stage DMP consisting of Bayesian Multi-armed Bandit algorithm to accurately characterize the frequency band statistics independently at each SU and frequency band selection scheme for orthogonalization of SUs. The analytical and simulation results show that the proposed DMP leads to 45% improvement in the average spectrum utilization compared to 36–39% in the existing DMPs. Furthermore, the number of collisions are 58.5% lower in the proposed DMP making SU terminals energy-efficient. The performance of the proposed DMP has been verified on the proposed USRP testbed in real radio environment and the experimental results closely match the simulated results .” 相似文献

Mobile ad-hoc network is an infrastructure less type of network which does not require any kind of fixed infrastructure. It provides multi-hop communication between the source and destination nodes which are not within the direct range of each other through the intermediate nodes. These intermediate nodes cooperate with other nodes in finding an optimum and shortest route toward the destination. However, in holistic environments, some nodes do not cooperate with other nodes in finding the optimal route towards the destination and intentionally give the false route information of having the shortest path toward the destination with a high destination sequence number in order to attract the traffic toward itself and start dropping of the data packets instead of forwarding it. This type of routing misbehaviour is generally called as black hole attack or full packet dropping attack which is one of the most severe destructive attacks that lead to the network degradation. In this paper, we have proposed a protocol called as Mitigating Black Hole effects through Detection and Prevention (MBDP-AODV) based on a dynamic threshold value of the destination sequence number. In order to validate the efficiency of proposed protocol, the NS-2.35 simulator is used. Video streaming, one of the most popular technologies for online video playback, has already been applied to 4G LTE networks. Previous work has been devoted to understanding the power consumption in general 4G LTE networks, while it is still unclear how the online video streaming makes impact on the power performance of mobile devices. Inspired by this, this paper investigates the relationship between the mobile device’s power performance characteristics and the behaviours of video streaming in 4G LTE networks. There are many natural issues/questions that are clearly interesting and important, while it is non-trivial to answer these issues/questions exactly (e.g., where is the energy saving room? how much is it?). To address a series of issues like the above, we formulate our energy models together with an algorithm that can assist our analysis. Particularly, we design a systematic platform, and conduct a comprehensive and also deep analysis on the power consumption of video streaming in 4G LTE networks. Our experiments reveal us a series of valuable findings—the saving room in the network part is large (from 41.86 to 69.62%), the number of RRC tails and the transmission pattern could be promising for optimizing the power consumption, for example. 相似文献
