This paper proposes a procedure and methodology for performance target setting related to continuity metrics in electricity distribution networks. This proposal deals with one of the key issues in the monopoly regulation, which is either the reduction of the information asymmetry among economic agents or the emulation of a competitive environment in industry segments usually considered as natural monopolies. This paper develops an approach toward standard definitions for Customer Average Interruption Duration Index (DEC) and Customer Average Interruption Frequency Index (FEC) based on inter-companies comparative analysis. This approach introduces productive efficiency concepts to the definition of network performance. In order to do so, the data envelopment analysis (DEA) technique, used for defining the efficiency frontier, was combined with the dynamic cluster technique, oriented toward models of identification of similar networks. A technique for comparative analysis was used for the definition of the network expected performance. Examples with the Brazilian electric systems are provided to clarify the methodology suggested by this paper.  相似文献

Wide parabolic wells can be created by properly controlling the Al content during the growth of successive Ga1–xAlxAs thin layers. Under a tilted magnetic field these systems present interesting transport properties, which are associated to their composition dependent g-factor. We present an exact solution for the eigenstates of an electron gas inside such a quantum well. We calculate the renormalized cyclotron frequencies as functions of the angle of tilt, as well as the density of states, and the Fermi level. We discuss the conditions for the existence of spin-polarized charge.  相似文献

This paper presents two reduced-switch-count AC drive systems. One of the configurations was conceived to operate with a two-phase motor and the other one with a three-phase motor. The drive systems provide both bidirectional power flow and power factor control. Pulsewidth modulation techniques for the converter control are discussed. This study aimed to evaluate the in vivo remineralization of acid-etched enamel in non-brushing areas as influenced by fluoridated orthodontic adhesive and toothpaste. One hundred and twenty teeth from 30 volunteers were selected. The teeth were assigned to four treatments: no treatment (negative control); 37% phosphoric acid-etching (PAE) (positive control); PAE + resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC); and, PAE + composite resin. Patients brushed teeth with fluoridated (n = 15) or non-fluoridated (n = 15) toothpastes, so that etched enamel was protected with screens and it was not in contact with the brush bristles. Remineralization was evaluated by means of laser fluorescence (LF), environmental scanning electronic microscopy, and energy dispersive spectrometry after extraction. The LF means were compared by means of Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests. Environmental scanning electron microscopy scores were compared among the groups using a Kruskal Wallis test, whereas the Ca/P ratio was evaluated by means of an Analysis of Variance with subparcels (treatments) and Tukey's post-hoc test. There were no statistically significant differences between the tooth pastes and between the orthodontic adhesives evaluated. Most teeth presented only partial enamel remineralization. Therefore, the fluoride released by the RMGIC was not enough to cause increased crystal regrowth in the acid-etched enamel. The use of fluoridated toothpaste did not provide positive additional effect.  相似文献

The performance of an intermediate Cr3C2 ceramic layer applied by PVD between the bond coat and the ceramic top coat in a TBC system was evaluated. The thickness of the transitional layer was kept around 1–2 μm. Two substrate materials and two distinct bond coats were combined in the tests. High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) and Atmospheric Plasma Spraying (APS) were used respectively for bond coat and top coat deposition. Isothermal oxidation tests were performed at 1000 °C in static air atmosphere. Thermal grown oxide (TGO) was measured and correlated to the exposition times. Results are discussed in terms of the TGO growth rate and changes in residual stresses. The results suggest an improvement in the oxidation resistance of the bond coat because of the presence of the intermediate layer.  相似文献

The reprocessing of endoscopes is a complex procedure due to their structural design. In the constant search for new antimicrobial substances, recent studies with ozone have yielded great benefits. The present study evaluated the effects of ozonated water used to disinfect endoscopes comparing its efficacy with the conventional technique (2% glutaraldehyde). According to the results obtained, when ozonated water was used (330 mg.min.L?1), induced a 2 log reduction of the viable microorganisms under the conditions tested. Ozonated water was a potent gastrointestinal endoscopic sanitizer, suggesting it is a feasible alternative for disinfection.  相似文献

In this paper, a Takenaka–Malmquist–Volterra (TMV) model structure is employed to improve the approximations in the low-pass equivalent behavioral modeling of radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers (PAs). The Takenaka–Malmquist basis generalizes the orthonormal basis functions previously used in this context. In addition, it allows each nonlinearity order in the expanded Volterra model to be parameterized by multiple complex poles (dynamics). The state-space realizations for the TMV models are introduced. The pole sets for the TMV model and also for the previous Laguerre–Volterra (LV) and Kautz–Volterra (KV) models are obtained using a constrained nonlinear optimization approach. Based on experimental data measured on a GaN HEMT class AB RF PA excited by a WCDMA signal, it is observed that the TMV model reduces the normalized mean-square error and the adjacent channel error power ratio for the upper adjacent channel (upper ACEPR) by 1.6 dB when it is compared to the previous LV and KV models under the same computational complexity.  相似文献

Interpolyelectrolyte complexes (IPECs) were obtained by the solution mixing method from chitosan and poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate), NaPSS. XRD, FTIR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis indicated that IPEC formation inhibits the occurrence of crystalline regions in the resultant solid IPECs. Turbidimetry, viscometry, conductometry, and zeta potential measurements showed that at a sulfonate to aminium molar ratio = 1, the process of IPEC production is optimum. Average hydrodynamic diameters, calculated from DLS measurements, showed that IPEC formation occurs in two stages: first there is a decrease in macromolecular dimensions, as sulfonate to aminium molar ratio is increased. At a characteristic sulfonate to aminium molar ratio, soluble IPEC structures collapse to form phase segregated clusters that begin to nucleate the formation of larger, insoluble, IPEC particles.  相似文献
