The present work describes systematic investigations into dry granulation of industrial carbon black with special regard to the residence time characteristics, using a continuously operated semitechnical bead‐forming drum. A novel experimental method and a model for the determination of residence time distribution of carbon black in the bead‐forming drum have been developed and very good agreement of model and experiment has been demonstrated. 相似文献

A highpressure dilatometer is described which permits measurements from 50 to 1 800 bar in a temperature range from 20 to 350°C. Rods are made within the dilatometer from granulate and investigated, they can be taken out of the mold for other measurements. Several test investigations have been made with linear and branched polyethylene: Specific Volume as function of pressure and temperature and the pressure dependence of maximum rate of crystallization at a cooling rate of 0,98 K/min. Complete PvT-diagrams are given and used for calculation of pressure and temperature dependence of expansion and compression-coefficient. Notebook applications have been one of the most important driving forces behind the remarkable growth of liquid‐crystal displays (LCDs). LCDs have recently been well accepted in the monitor market and large growth is forecasted because of the replacement of CRTs. The next challenge for LCDs is the TV market. These new application areas are supported by advanced LC technologies such as film‐compensated twisted nematic (TN), in‐plane switching (IPS), and vertically aligned (VA) modes.
