Gibbs energies of formation of CoF2 and MnF2 have been measured in the temperature range from 700 to 1100 K using Al2O3-dispersed CaF2 solid electrolyte and Ni+NiF2 as the reference electrode. The dispersed solid electrolyte has higher conductivity than pure CaF2 thus permitting accurate measurements at lower temperatures. However, to prevent reaction between Al2O3 in the solid electrolyte and NiF2 (or CoF2) at the electrode, the dispersed solid electrolyte was coated with pure CaF2, thus creating a composite structure. The free energies of formation of CoF2 and MnF2 are (± 1700) J mol−1; {fx37-1} The third law analysis gives the enthalpy of formation of solid CoF2 as ΔH° (298·15 K) = −672·69 (± 0·1) kJ mol−1, which compares with a value of −671·5 (± 4) kJ mol−1 given in Janaf tables. For solid MnF2, ΔH°(298·15 K) = − 854·97 (± 0·13) kJ mol−1, which is significantly different from a value of −803·3 kJ mol−1 given in the compilation by Barinet al. 相似文献

The possible involvement of glucose in the formation of N-nitrosothiazolidine (NTHZ) in bacon was investigated by pumping pork bellies with brines containing added glucose (2 and 4%). Raw bacon samples processed with glucose had significantly lower levels of N-nitrosothiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid than the smoked control bacons. When the bacon samples with glucose were fried for 6 and 12 min, no NTHZ was detected in the fried products. N-Nitrosopyrrolidine (NPYR) levels in these samples were much lower than those in the fried control samples. Results of this study demonstrate that the contribution of glucose to NTHZ formation in bacon is minimal relative to that of formaldehyde in the wood smoke. 相似文献

Part 2 of this series of two papers presents the applications of the discrete singular convolution (DSC) algorithm. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the utility, test the accuracy and examine the convergence of the proposed approach for the vibration analysis of rectangular plates with internal supports. Both partial internal line supports and complex internal supports are considered for 21 square plates of various combinations of edge support conditions. The effects of different size, shape and topology of the internal supports and different boundary conditions on the vibration response of plates are investigated. The partial internal line supports may vary from a central point support to a full range of cross or diagonal line supports. Several closed‐loop supports, such as ring, square and rhombus, and their combinations are studied for complex internal supports. Convergence and comparison studies are carried out to establish the correctness and accuracy of the DSC algorithm. The DSC results are compared with those in the available literature obtained by using other methods. Numerical results indicate that the DSC algorithm exhibits controllable accuracy for plate analysis and shows excellent flexibility in handling complex geometries, boundary conditions and support conditions. A numerical model, which simulates nucleation and growth of Zn grains, has been developed in order to describe quantitatively
the solidification of Zn coatings during the hot-dipping process. The inputs of the model are the nucleation distribution,
which has been measured by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD), and the dendritic growth kinetics, calculated with an
analytical model of a parabolic dendrite tip modified to account for the interactions with the coating interfaces. The model
predicts the shapes of the grain envelopes as a function of the grain orientation and the texture induced by growth. Three
types of grain envelopes have been evidenced, depending on the angle between the c-axis and the normal to the coating plane.
Moreover, it has been shown that growth reinforces the already existing {00.1} nucleation texture, in good agreement with
experimental data. The model also predicts the cooling curve, including recalescence, and the grain size. Thus, it is used
to describe the effects of Pb additions on solidification. In particular, it has been shown that Pb increases the nucleation
undercooling and strongly decreases the density of active nuclei, thus resulting in a much larger grain size. 相似文献

We present a framework for iterative multiuser joint decoding of code-division multiple-access (CDMA) signals, based on the factor-graph representation and on the sum-product algorithm. In this framework, known parallel and serial, hard and soft interference cancellation algorithms are derived in a unified way. The asymptotic performance of these algorithms in the limit of large code block length can be rigorously analyzed by using density evolution. We show that, for random spreading in the large-system limit, density evolution is considerably simplified. Moreover, by making a Gaussian approximation of the decoder soft output, we show that the behavior of iterative multiuser joint decoding is approximately characterized by the stable fixed points of a simple one-dimensional nonlinear dynamical system 相似文献

ABSTRACT: The thermal stability of Bacillus licheniformis α-amylase at low moisture content was studied, based on isothermal experiments performed in a temperature range 113 to 125 °C. The thermal inactivation was monitored by measuring the decrease in thermal denaturation enthalpy and/or the decrease in enzymic activity on pnitrophenyl-α-D-maltoheptaoside, or on starch as a substrate. Based on enthalpy readings, an enzymic system with a z-value of 10.4 °C was observed when using a relative humidity of 81% at 4 °C. A theoretical study showed that this system could be used as a Time Temperature Integrator (TTI) to monitor the safety of sterilization processes of numerous food products. 相似文献
