A comparison of the scaling of Afro-Americans' life-change events

Research using the Recent Life Change Questionnaire is being conducted with various ethnic, economic, and cultural groups. The findings of studies using comparable forms have indicated that economic conditions and cultural differences have a minimal effect upon the overall concordant rankings of most groups. In this paper, cultural and economic variables which influence the rankings of poverty-level Afro-Americans are compared with data from a previous study. The significant items related to employment, health, and family problems were found to influence the subject's life conditions, and those related to interpersonal relationships were found to be based on cultural values. The author discusses the importance of recognizing economic and cultural variables which are salient to the measure of life changes by selecting a scoring system which allows for the influence of these variables.

轴向力作用下Timoshenko梁的横向振动

研究在轴向力作用下的Ｔｉｍｏｓｈｅｎｋｏ梁的横向振动频率特性。利用瑞雷法得到任这界条件下的系统固有频率泛函方程,对于两边均为固定端约束的情形建立了频率方程,并分别讨论了轴向力、转动惯量和剪切变形对频率方程解的影响,进而得相应的固有频率。当轴向力为零时,利用幂级数展开原理,并忽略高阶小量,得到新的固有频率和文献「１」的计算结果完全相同,从而说明所得到的在轴向力作用下的Ｔｉｍｏｓｈｅｎｋｏ梁的横向振劝

Survey on the stability of networked control systems

The insertion of the communication network in the feedback control loop makes the analysis and design of a network control system more complex, and induces some issues that degrade the control system’s performance and even cause system instability. The main aspects are focused on the stability analysis of Network Control Systems (NCSs) with network-induced delays, data packet dropouts, and multiple-packet transmission. These issues must be considered in the design of an NCS. This work summarizes the main research results, and remarks on some related handling approaches and techniques. The main purpose of the survey is to present the new research state of NCSs and to point out some fields of future work.     

基于ADAMS的非独立悬架-转向系统动力学仿真

以多体系统动力学理论为基础,利用ADAMS软件,建立了一类四轮驱动车辆非独立前悬架及转向系统的参数化虚拟样机;通过改变悬架有关质量几何参数,进行了大量的动力学仿真计算。分析了柔性元件(橡胶减震元件)对悬架动力学性能的影响,考察了对车辆操纵稳定性、平顺性影响很大的前轮定位参数的动力特性。得到了有关性能参数与车轮定位参数的结果曲线。从而为汽车的设计和制造提供理论依据。     

混合模式垃圾邮件检测

机器学习和数据挖掘可以有效的应用于各种各样的数据模式识别中,其中包括对电子邮件进行的模式识别、分类和知识发现。现在使用的垃圾邮件检测系统可以精确的进行邮件判别。但是,现实是总有一些误判,而这些误判有时会带来很大的损失。现提出的混合模式分类器分析了两个单个分类器的混合,降低了误判率,提高了检测的准确率。
