This article deals with a decentralised service chain consisting of a service provider and a facility owner. The revenue allocation and service price are, respectively, determined by the service provider and the facility owner in a non-cooperative manner. To model this decentralised operation, a Stackelberg game between the two parties is formulated. In the mathematical framework, the service system is assumed to be driven by Poisson customer arrivals and exponential service times. The most common log-linear service demand and Weibull facility lifetime are also adopted. Under these analytical conditions, the decentralised decisions in this game are investigated and then a unique optimal equilibrium is derived. Finally, a coordination mechanism is proposed to improve the efficiency of this decentralised system.  相似文献

The neutral titanium(III) complex Ti(BP)3 {BP = dihydrobis(pyrazol-1-yl)borate} was synthesized by reacting TiCl3(THF)2 with an excess of the potassium salt of the ligand in THF. The compound was isolated as a green solid and characterized by elemental analysis, NMR and IR spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry and magnetic and conductivity measurements. The molecular ion was detected in the Mass spectrum. 11B NMR data suggested a distortion from the ideal octahedral geometry caused by the d1 electronic configuration of the metal centre and this hypothesis was confirmed by means of DFT calculations.  相似文献

Although research has established that receiving expressions of gratitude increases prosocial behavior, little is known about the psychological mechanisms that mediate this effect. We propose that gratitude expressions can enhance prosocial behavior through both agentic and communal mechanisms, such that when helpers are thanked for their efforts, they experience stronger feelings of self-efficacy and social worth, which motivate them to engage in prosocial behavior. In Experiments 1 and 2, receiving a brief written expression of gratitude motivated helpers to assist both the beneficiary who expressed gratitude and a different beneficiary. These effects of gratitude expressions were mediated by perceptions of social worth and not by self-efficacy or affect. In Experiment 3, we constructively replicated these effects in a field experiment: A manager's gratitude expression increased the number of calls made by university fundraisers, which was mediated by social worth but not self-efficacy. In Experiment 4, a different measure of social worth mediated the effects of an interpersonal gratitude expression. Our results support the communal perspective rather than the agentic perspective: Gratitude expressions increase prosocial behavior by enabling individuals to feel socially valued. We introduce a GPU-based parallel vertex substitution (pVS) algorithm for the p-median problem using the CUDA architecture by NVIDIA. pVS is developed based on the best profit search algorithm, an implementation of vertex substitution (VS), that is shown to produce reliable solutions for p-median problems. In our approach, each candidate solution in the entire search space is allocated to a separate thread, rather than dividing the search space into parallel subsets. This strategy maximizes the usage of GPU parallel architecture and results in a significant speedup and robust solution quality. Computationally, pVS reduces the worst case complexity from sequential VS’s O(p · n2) to O(p · (n ? p)) on each thread by parallelizing computational tasks on GPU implementation. We tested the performance of pVS on two sets of numerous test cases (including 40 network instances from OR-lib) and compared the results against a CPU-based sequential VS implementation. Our results show that pVS achieved a speed gain ranging from 10 to 57 times over the traditional VS in all test network instances.  相似文献

Assessed the degree of alcohol aversion in 60 alcoholics (aged 21–60 yrs) who received emetic alcohol-aversion therapy. Based on prior aversion-therapy research, it was predicted that aversion therapy would result in the following changes in response to alcoholic, but not to nonalcoholic, flavors: (1) decreased consumption in taste tests, (2) more negative flavor ratings, (3) overt behavioral indicants of aversion (e.g., grimacing), and (4) increased tachycardic response. A positive correlation between posttreatment tachycardic response to alcohol and number of days to the first drink was also predicted. Results support these predictions. The aims of this study are to determine visualization of normal phonation structures with the use of MR fast sequences and anatomical reference indices which can be used in evaluating upper resonator pathologies. A total of 12 normal subjects were studied, a 1 T system, a volumetric receiving head and neck coil and FLASH sequences for one sagittal and two coronal scans. Each subject was instructed to take a deep breath and then to produce the vowel sounds for the entire duration of the scan. The movement of the following anatomical structures were considered: lips, tongue, soft palate, pharynx and epiglottis. For each subject sagittal scans were used to measure the minimal palate-tongue distance (p−t), the minimal anterio-posterior diameter of the mesopharynx (mp), and the epiglottis excursion angle (ep) with respect to the plane determined by the false vocal cords. Our results were compared with a diagrammed representation of tongue movements (vocal trapezium). This study underlines the validity of MR imaging techniques in the study of the phono-articulatory tract. because MR provided good detail of the phono-articulatory structures enabling an overall functional evaluation. MR would appear useful in evaluating defects in the velum and palate, in staging of oropharyngeal neoplasms and in surgical reconstructions of the tongue.  相似文献

To gain insight into how the pressure drop in monolithic silica columns is determined by the microscopic details of the pore structure, a series of well-validated computational fluid dynamics simulations has been performed on a simplified model structure, the so-called tetrahedral skeleton column. From these simulations, a direct correlation between the pressure drop and two main structural properties (skeleton thickness and column porosity) of the monolithic skeleton could be established. The correlation shows good agreement with the experimental pressure-drop data available from the literature on silica monoliths, especially when a correction for the flow-through pore size heterogeneity is made. The established correlation also yields a much more accurate representation of the relation between the flow resistance and the bed porosity than does the Kozeny-Carman model, making it much better suited for porosity optimization calculations.  相似文献

The crystalline materials Ca3Sc2Si3O12 and Ca3Y2Si3O12 were characterized by different crystal structures, as the former is a cubic garnet, while the latter is an orthorhombic compound. We investigated the optical spectroscopy of these materials doped with several trivalent lanthanide ions and compared the results for the two hosts. Polycrystalline samples were prepared by solid state reaction, both undoped and doped with the trivalent lanthanide ions Eu3+, Tb3+ and Sm3+. Emission, excitation and Raman spectra of these materials were measured at temperatures ranging from 300 to 10 K. The optical spectra were assigned and discussed, and the effects of the crystal structure of the host on the spectroscopic behaviour were addressed. The technological potential of these compounds in the field of optical materials and devices was discussed.  相似文献

A pragmatic approach for aid in the designing of assembly cells with cooperating robots is presented in this paper. The conditions justifying the use of multiple cooperation have been previously defined. Effort was then focused on the appropriate characterization of the assembly tasks with the aim of helping find solutions for solving both collision and coordination problems. The capability of the laboratory used for experimental studies on cooperating robots is also illustrated. The presented criteria have been applied to the cell setup of a mechanical assembly process.  相似文献
