The evolution of the Maillard reaction (MR) by measuring the available lysine and furosine (FUR) contents in adapted and follow‐up powdered milk‐based infant formulas over the shelf‐life storage period, at 20 and 37 °C, was studied. Available lysine and FUR contents were determined by fluorimetry and high‐performance liquid chromatography respectively. Statistically significant differences were found between adapted and follow‐up infant formulas with respect to the available lysine and FUR contents. Available lysine contents decreased significantly throughout the storage time, and the contents at 37 °C were lower than at 20 °C. A statistically significant increase in FUR contents was observed during the storage period, with the contents being high at 37 °C than at 20 °C. A simple regression analysis between the available lysine and FUR contents during (a) the first year (b) the second year and (c) the two storage years was applied. The best correlations were obtained during the first year of storage. The results obtained show a clear MR evolution during the storage of infant formulas. In the present work, the photo-acoustic emission from nanostructured copper/porous silicon hybrid systems was studied. Copper nanoparticles were grown by photo-assisted electroless deposition on crystalline silicon and nanostructured porous silicon (nanoPS). Both the optical and photo-acoustic responses from these systems were determined. The experimental results show a remarkable increase in the photo-acoustic intensity when copper nanoparticles are incorporated to the porous structure. The results thus suggest that the Cu/nanoPS hybrid systems are suitable candidates for several applications in the field of thermoplasmonics, including the development of sound-emitting devices of great efficiency.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to evaluate the modelling of machining vibrations of thin-walled aluminium workpieces at high productivity rate. The use of numerical simulation is generally aimed at giving optimal cutting conditions for the precision and the surface finish needed. The proposed modelling includes all the ingredients needed for real productive machining of thin-walled parts. It has been tested with a specially designed machining test with high cutting engagement and taking into account all the phenomena involved in the dynamics of cutting. The system has been modelled using several simulation techniques. On the one hand, the milling process was modelled using a dynamic mechanistic model, with time domain simulation. On the other hand, the dynamic parameters of the system were obtained step by step by finite element analysis; thus the variation due to metal removal and the cutting edge position has been accurately taken into account. The results of the simulations were compared to those of the experiments; the discussion is based on the analysis of the cutting forces, the amplitude and the frequency of the vibrations evaluating the presence of chatter. The specific difficulties to perfect simulation of thin-walled workpiece chatter have been finely analysed.  相似文献

Oil (healthier lipid combination of olive, linseed and fish oils)-in-water emulsions stabilized with different protein systems (prepared with sodium caseinate (SC), soy protein isolate (SPI), and microbial transglutaminase (MTG)) were used as pork backfat replacers in low-fat frankfurters. Microstructure, lipid oxidation, nitrite content, microbiological changes and biogenic amine formation of frankfurters were analyzed and found to be affected by the type of oil-in-water emulsion and by chilling storage (2° C, 41 days). Although the lipid oxidation levels attained were low, replacement of animal fat by healthier oil combinations in frankfurter formulation did promote a slight increase in lipid oxidation. Residual nitrite was affected (P < 0.05) by formulation and storage. Only 51-61% of the added nitrite was detectable in the product after processing and 17-46% at the end of storage. The microbial population was low in all formulations during chilling storage. Spermine was the most abundant amine (19-20 mg/kg), but similar in level to all samples.  相似文献

Tellurite (TeO2-TiO2-Nb2O5) thin film glasses have been produced by pulsed laser deposition at room temperature at laser energy densities in the range of 0.8-1.5 J/cm2 and oxygen pressures in the range of 3-11 Pa. The oxygen concentration in the films increases with laser energy density to reach values very close to that of the bulk glass at 1.5 J/cm2, while films prepared at 1.5 J/cm2 and pressures above 5 Pa show oxygen concentration in excess of 10% comparing to the glass. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy shows the presence of elementary Te in films deposited at O2 pressures ≤ 5 Pa that is not detected at higher pressures, while analysis of Raman spectra of the samples suggests a progressive substitution of TeO3 trigonal pyramids by TeO4 trigonal bipyramids in the films when increasing their oxygen content. Spectroscopic ellipsometry analysis combined with Cauchy and effective medium modeling demonstrates the influence of these compositional and structural modifications on the optical response of the films. Since the oxygen content determines their optical response through the structural modifications induced in the films, those can be effectively controlled by tuning the deposition conditions, and films having large n (2.08) and reduced k (< 10− 4) at 1.5 μm have been produced using the optimum deposition conditions.  相似文献

The influence of S and (Mn/S) on the crack susceptibility of continuous casting steels was studied. It is theoretically demonstrated that there is a critical value of the (Mn/S) ratio, (Mn/S)c, under which a high susceptibility to cracking, during casting or deformation of as-cast material, is expected. The value of (Mn/S)c increases as the S content of the steel decreases. Based on literature data and results from rolling continuous casting billets the following experimental equation has been found: (Mn/S)c = 1.345 · S?0.7934. A high similarity between this experimental equation and the theoretical one is achieved. A comparison between the equation found and previous expressions from literature was carried out. The MSC index as the ratio between the (Mn/S) ratio of a steel and the corresponding critical one was defined. The MSC index is a useful tool for the analysis of experimental results from literature.  相似文献

The inclusion of quadrupolar and higher order terms into the effective field in second order transition in uniaxial ferroelectrics is shown to describe well the jump in specific heat at T⋍Tc for crystals of the TGS family. It is shown that the numerical values for the coefficient g≡(γ/β)(Nμ)2, corresponding to the quadrupolar interaction term, obtained (a) from specific heat data and (b) from spontaneous polarization data (both at T⋍Tc are in good agreement with each other for crystals of the TGS family.  相似文献
