This paper provides a summary of the current equations and rescaling factors for converting calibrated Digital Numbers (DNs) to absolute units of at-sensor spectral radiance, Top-Of-Atmosphere (TOA) reflectance, and at-sensor brightness temperature. It tabulates the necessary constants for the Multispectral Scanner (MSS), Thematic Mapper (TM), Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+), and Advanced Land Imager (ALI) sensors. These conversions provide a basis for standardized comparison of data in a single scene or between images acquired on different dates or by different sensors. This paper forms a needed guide for Landsat data users who now have access to the entire Landsat archive at no cost. 相似文献

The present investigation was carried out to study the effect of 4.8, 9.2, 15.3 and 21.2 kGy of electron beam (EB)-irradiation on major storage proteins viz. glycinin (11S) and β-conglycinin (7S), in vitro protein digestibility (IVPD), and trypsin inhibitor (TI) content in seeds of three soybean genotypes. Densitometry of SDS-PAGE protein profile revealed significant (P < 0.05) reduction in α’, α and β subunits of 7S fraction at all doses. This reduction was higher (P < 0.05) than the decline observed in acidic and basic subunit of 11S fraction. Basic subunit registered significant (P < 0.05) increase at specific doses in two genotypes. All the doses induced significant (P < 0.05) increase in IVPD, and the increase due to 9.2, 15.3 and 21.2 kGy was higher (P < 0.05) compared to 4.8 kGy dose. The impact on TI content was genotype-dependent. The study showed a higher (P < 0.05) decline in the concentration of 7S fraction compared to 11S fraction and improvement in IVPD of soybean seeds due to exposure to EB-irradiation, which may influence the functional and nutritional value of soy products processed from them. 相似文献

The nanoscale features of DNA have made it a useful molecule for bottom‐up construction of nanomaterials, for example, two‐ and three‐dimensional lattices, nanomachines, and nanodevices. One of the emerging applications of such DNA‐based nanostructures is in chemical and biological sensing, where they have proven to be cost‐effective, sensitive and have shown promise as point‐of‐care diagnostic tools. DNA is an ideal molecule for sensing not only because of its specificity but also because it is robust and can function under a broad range of biologically relevant temperatures and conditions. DNA nanostructure‐based sensors provide biocompatibility and highly specific detection based on the molecular recognition properties of DNA. They can be used for the detection of single nucleotide polymorphism and to sense pH both in solution and in cells. They have also been used to detect clinically relevant tumor biomarkers. In this review, recent advances in DNA‐based biosensors for pH, nucleic acids, tumor biomarkers and cancer cell detection are introduced. Some challenges that lie ahead for such biosensors to effectively compete with established technologies are also discussed. 相似文献

The photoluminescence (PL) properties of singly doped (Dy3+) and codoped (Dy3+, Eu3+) fluoroaluminoborate glasses, with an emphasis on the white light generation, are studied. The γ-irradiation led to the formation of defects in Dy3+-doped glasses and photoreduction of Eu3+ to Eu2+ in codoped (Dy3+, Eu3+) glasses. The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra confirm the presence of divalent europium ions and defects in Dy3+, Dy3+–Eu3+-doped glasses. The FTIR spectra mainly establish the compaction of glass network due to γ-irradiation. From the PL spectra, the intensity ratio of Dy3+ emission bands yellow to blue (4F9/2–6H13/2/4F9/2–6H15/2) defines the site symmetry, covalency, and feasibility of extracting white light. The existence of an energy transfer (ET) from Dy3+ to Eu3+ ions are established due to the decrease in intensity of Dy3+ peaks with an increase of Eu2O3 content. Moreover, the non-exponential nature of decay curves was well fitted with the generalization of Yokota–Tanimoto model for electric dipole-quadrupole (S = 8) interaction that is responsible for ET process from sensitizer (Dy3+) to activator (Eu3+). 相似文献

Vertically aligned ZnO nanorods (NRs) on aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO) substrates were fabricated by a single-step aqueous solution method at low temperature. In order to optimize optical quality, the effects of annealing on optical and structural properties were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, photoluminescence (PL), and Raman spectroscopy. We found that the annealing temperature strongly affects both the near-band-edge (NBE) and visible (defect-related) emissions. The best characteristics have been obtained by employing annealing at 400°C in air for 2 h, bringing about a sharp and intense NBE emission. The defect-related recombinations were also suppressed effectively. However, the enhancement decreases with higher annealing temperature and prolonged annealing. PL study indicates that the NBE emission is dominated by radiative recombination associated with hydrogen donors. Thus, the enhancement of NBE is due to the activation of radiative recombinations associated with hydrogen donors. On the other hand, the reduction of visible emission is mainly attributed to the annihilation of OH groups. Our results provide insight to comprehend annealing effects and an effective way to improve optical properties of low-temperature-grown ZnO NRs for future facile device applications. 相似文献

The differentially-encoded, di-symbol time-division multiuser impulse radio (d2TD-IR) with delay-sum autocorrelation receivers is a low complexity, high efficiency short range wireless communication technology for infrastructure networks. The d2TD-IR system is designed with the assumption that the users are perfectly synchronized. In this letter, we propose a recursive algorithm of combined synchronization and power control. The availability of remote sensing data with improved spatial, spectral and radiometric resolution is now available to fully exploit their potential for a specific application subject to the relative merits and the limitations of each sensor's data. Presented here is a case study where Landsat MSS and TM; and SPOT MLA data for part of the Bijapur district, southern India, which were acquired on the same day, have been evaluated for mapping eroded lands. The approach involves the geometric registration of all three data to a common map grid using tie points and third order polynomial transform; and resampling the MSS and TM data to a 20m by 20 m pixel dimension and radiometric normalization. Thematic maps showing eroded lands were generated on a micro-VAXbased DIPIX system using a maximum likelihood classifier. Accuracy estimates were made for the thematic maps following stratified unaligned random sampling technique, and subsequently, computing overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient. Spectral separability and classification accuracy was maximum from SPOT-MLA data followed by a combination of Landsat MSS band 1, SPOT-MLA band 2 and Landsat TM band 4; Landsat TM, a combination of Landsat MSS, TM and SPOT MLA; and Landsat MSS data. 相似文献
