Whole-body kinetics and dosimetry of L-3--123I-iodo-alpha-methyltyrosine

BACKGROUND: Desflurane anesthesia can produce cerebral metabolic depression and increase cerebral blood flow. We evaluated the effect of desflurane on brain tissue oxygen pressure (PO2), carbon dioxide pressure (PCO2) and pH during neurosurgery. METHODS: Following a craniotomy, the dura was opened and a Paratrend 7 sensor, which measures PO2, PCO2, pH and temperature, was inserted into brain tissue. In 6 control patients in group 1, anesthesia was maintained constant with 3% end-tidal desflurane over 60 min, including a 30-min stabilization period. In group 2, 9 patients were ventilated with 3% desflurane under baseline conditions. After a 30-min stabilization period, baseline tissue gases and pH were measured and end-tidal desflurane was increased to 6% and then 9% for 15-min intervals. Mean arterial pressure (MAP) was maintained with intravenous phenylephrine. RESULTS: Under baseline conditions, cardiovascular and brain tissue measures were similar between the 2 groups. Increasing end-tidal desflurane from 3% to 9% produced burst-suppression EEG in all patients and significantly increased tissue PO2 and pH and decreased PCO2. No parameters changed significantly in the control group during steady-state anesthesia. CONCLUSION: These results show that 9% desflurane can improve brain tissue metabolic status before temporary brain artery occlusion if cerebral perfusion pressure is maintained. This may be particularly important in patients with symptoms of ischemia before surgery.     

YAG：Ce Phosphors for WLED via Nano-Pesudoboehmite Sol-Gel Route

The sub-micron sized YAG ： Ce phosphors were synthesized via a modified sol-gel method by peptizing nano-pesudoboehmite particulate. It is found that YAG phase from the dried gel powders appears at 1000 ℃ then the pure YAG phase exists at a relatively lower sintering temperature of 1400 ℃. The smaller sizes of phosphors in the ranges of 1 - 3 μm are obtained due to the contribution of seeding effects of nano-sized alumina particles to strengthen each step of the processes. Both the excitation and emission spectra of photoluminescence of the phosphor obtained at 1400 ℃ meet well with the spectroscopic requirements of the WLED phosphors.

本文在最佳二进阵列、准最佳二进阵列和最佳二进阵列偶的基础上,定义了一种新的最佳信号,即准最佳二进阵列偶.讨论了准最佳二进阵列偶的体积、变换性质,并对其进行了Fourier频谱分析,得到了部分有益的结果.还用计算机穷举搜索出了体积从2~24的准最佳二进阵列偶.     

虚拟仪器在教学中的应用

主要介绍了Multisim2001中虚拟仪器库中函数发生器、示波器的使用方法及功能；并在Multisim2001环境中仿真单管放大电路、桥式整流滤波电路。由调试结果，分析了其在教学中应用的可行性。     

模糊自动机在电磁波识别中的应用

研制了一个模糊处理和神经网络相结合的自动机,使用模糊技术从未处理的电磁信号波纹图像中处理模糊几何特征属性,进行波纹分类与识别。当使用模糊自动机(FA)进行识别紊乱波纹时,这些模糊几何特征是最好的。而对这些模糊几何特征的辨识,使用FA是很好的。     

Constrained Drying of Aqueous Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia Slurry on a Substrate. I: Drying Mechanism

Aqueous yttria-stabilized zirconia slurry was cast on a substrate to form wet coatings. Both weight loss and thickness reduction were measured, during the drying process. Lateral drying was observed by in situ monitoring of the coating surface. The drying kinetics were classified as an initial constant rate period (CRP), followed by a falling rate period (FRP). Thickness reduction occurred in the CRP stage, and was uneven across the coating because of lateral flow. As tensile stresses developed within the coating because of the constrained volume shrinkage, crack formation and propagation occurred in the FRP stage and affected the drying rate.
