The material coefficients of "soft" and "hard" lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramics were determined as complex values by the nonlinear least-squares-fitting of immittance data measured for length-extensional bar resonators. The piezoelectric d -constant should be a complex value to obtain a best fitting between observed and calculated results. Because the elastic, dielectric, and piezoelectric losses determined in this process were not "intrinsic" losses, a calculation process to evaluate the "intrinsic" losses was proposed. It was confirmed that the intrinsic losses were smaller than the corresponding extrinsic losses. The intrinsic piezoelectric loss existed in both soft and hard PZTs; ∼50% of the loss of piezoelectric d -constant was derived from the elastic and dielectric losses. The most notable difference between the soft and hard PZTs was observed in their elastic losses. 相似文献

Well crystallized, shape-formed, and electrochemically active lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2 ) films are electroplated directly on an electron-conducting substrate in an aqueous solution using a soft solution processing that is economical, consumes less energy consuming, and is environmentally friendly. Although LiCoO2 films are easily and economically prepared without any post-synthesis heat treatment, the estimated film properties show a possibility of using the deposited films as a cathode film for lithium rechargeable microbatteries. In addition, the soft solution processing reveals that an exact understanding of chemical reactions and the proper combination of the chemical reactions can create an advanced synthetic procedure. 相似文献

In the solvent extraction of zinc from chloride media with a secondary long-chain alkylamine, Amberlite LA-2, aggregations of ammonium chloride salt of alkylamine and zinc-complex with alkylamine and distribution equilibrium of zinc were investigated at 30 "C using n-hexane as a diluent. The ammonium chloride salt of alkylamine exists as monomeric, dimeric, trimeric and tetrameric species (BHCl, (BHCl)2, (BHCl)3 and (BHCl)4, respectively). The zinc-complex exists as monomeric and dimeric species ((BH)2ZnCl4 and ((BH)2ZnCl4)2, respectively). The catalytic regio‐ and stereoselective monoglycosylation of carbohydrates using organotin catalysts is demonstrated. The one‐step reaction affords various oligosaccharides linked at the secondary hydroxy group in high chemical yield and good regio‐ and stereoselectivities. The regioselectivity of the glycosylation is shown to depend on the spatial arrangement of the hydroxy groups in the carbohydrates.

The fracture toughness characterization of four impact-modified polymers based on the J-integral concept was studied. We have discovered that the use of the “crack blunting line” concept needs revision. Direct measurements of the crack growth can be made (as opposed to indirect readings from the fracture surface) that test the applicability of the crack blunting concept. Our results indicate that for rubber-toughened polymers the use of the blunting line fails to specify properly the critical J-integral value for crack initiation. 相似文献

Two main pivotal subjects of research in automotive catalysts were studied by modern X-ray absorption analysis techniques. One is oxygen storage/release behaviour, and the other is sintering inhibition of Pt particles. First, three types of CeO2–ZrO2 (Ce:Zr = 1:1 molar ratio) compounds with different oxygen storage/release capacities and different structural properties were prepared, and the valence change of Ce as a function of temperature during oxygen release/storage processes was investigated. The reduction of surface Ce mainly occurred in the range 100–170 °C, and the reduction of bulk Ce progressed at high temperatures of 170 °C and above. The Ce reduction behaviour depended not only on the homogeneity of the Ce and Zr for bulk reduction at high temperatures but also on the particle size of the CeO2–ZrO2 samples for surface reduction at low temperatures. Secondly, sintering inhibition of Pt in Pt/Al2O3, Pt/MgO and Pt/ceria-based catalysts after 800 °C ageing in air was studied. We found that the Pt–O–M (M = Mg, Ce) bond acted as an anchor and inhibited the sintering of Pt particles on MgO or ceria-based oxide. Especially, it was noteworthy that the Pt–O–Ce4+ bond on the ceria-based support breaks easily through the reduction of Ce (Ce4+ → Ce3+) during the usual stoichiometric and reducing conditions. 相似文献

Tritium radioluminography has been applied to determine the hydrogen (H) diffusion coefficients in Ti50Cr50 and Ti40Cr60 alloys, both with two-phase structures of a body-centered cubic (bcc) phase and a Laves phase. Using radioluminography, H distributions in those phases have been observed, and H penetration profiles have been measured. The tritium diffusion coefficients in the Ti50Cr50 and Ti40Cr60 alloys have been successfully determined by analyzing the tritium penetration profiles to be 3.3±0.3 × 10?12 and 1.4±0.1×10?12 m2/s, respectively. These values suggest that the H diffusion in the Laves phase is slower than that in the bcc phase. It is also suggested that H diffuses by short-circuiting diffusion through the interface between the bcc phase and the Laves phase. 相似文献

In photodynamic therapy (PDT) for neoplasms, photosensitizers selectively accumulate in cancer tissue. Upon excitation with light of an optimal wavelength, the photosensitizer and surrounding molecules generate reactive oxygen species, resulting in cancer cell-specific cytotoxicity. Porphylipoprotein (PLP) has a porphyrin-based nanostructure. The porphyrin moiety of PLP is quenched because of its structure. When PLP is disrupted, the stacked porphyrins are separated into single molecules and act as photosensitizers. Unless PLP is disrupted, there is no photosensitive disorder in normal tissues. PLP can attenuate the photosensitive disorder compared with other photosensitizers and is ideal for use as a photosensitizer. However, the efficacy of PLP has not yet been evaluated. In this study, the mechanism of cancer cell-specific accumulation of PLP and its cytotoxic effect on cholangiocarcinoma cells were evaluated. The effects were investigated on normal and cancer-like mutant cells. The cytotoxicity effect of PLP PDT in cancer cells was significantly stronger than in normal cells. In addition, reactive oxygen species regulated intracellular PLP accumulation. The cytotoxic effects were also investigated using a cholangiocarcinoma cell line. The cytotoxicity of PLP PDT was significantly higher than that of laserphyrin-based PDT, a conventional type of PDT. PLP PDT could also inhibit tumor growth in vivo. 相似文献

Endothelial cells acquire different phenotypes to establish functional vascular networks. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling induces endothelial proliferation, migration, and survival to regulate vascular development, which leads to the construction of a vascular plexuses with a regular morphology. The spatiotemporal localization of angiogenic factors and the extracellular matrix play fundamental roles in ensuring the proper regulation of angiogenesis. This review article highlights how and what kinds of extracellular environmental molecules regulate angiogenesis. Close interactions between the vascular and neural systems involve shared molecular mechanisms to coordinate developmental and regenerative processes. This review article focuses on current knowledge about the roles of angiogenesis in peripheral nerve regeneration and the latest therapeutic strategies for the treatment of peripheral nerve injury. 相似文献
