Metabolism, intensity of lipid peroxidation and the antioxidant defense system in humans during chamber experiments with long-term isolation

Blood biochemical parameters of lipid, protein, carbohydrate and energy metabolism were measured in a 135-day chamber experiment. Also, dynamics of the intensity of lipid peroxidation and status of the antioxidant defence system were evaluated. Results of the investigation showed that extended chamber isolation led to modifications of several biochemical parameters including hemoglobin, bilirubin, cholesterol and its fractions, elevated transaminase activity which are typical for long-term space mission. However, these were not accompanied by substantive changes in protein, energy and carbohydrate metabolisms, or intensity of free radical processes. Effects of prolonged stay in chamber was successfully counterbalanced by organism.     

基于灰色关联分析的卫星初始轨道优选方法

卫星初始轨道优选是一项复杂而且具有多目标性的问题,所以必须利用一系列的评价指标才能全面系统地评价各种初始轨道.针对各种数据源确定的多组初始轨道如何选优问题,提出了一种应用于卫星初始轨道优选的灰色关联分析方法,建立了初始轨道选优的评价指标体系,成功地利用标称轨道作为属性基向量,解决了比较数列的生成问题并给出了具体的应用实例.实例计算结果表明,该方法计算简单,结果可靠,可为决策者的选择提供依据.     

食品防腐剂的使用现状及安全性分析

食品防腐剂主要用于抑制微生物的生长繁殖,以延长食品的保存期。分析了我国食品防腐剂的使用现状、常用的防腐剂的种类及性能、防腐剂使用中存在的问题及安全性评价指标,提出了安全使用防腐剂的建议。     

柳树叶中原花青素的提取与含量测定

以乙醇提取柳树叶的原花青素,考察了乙醇浓度、料液比、提取时间和提取温度等对提取率的影响。结果表明,乙醇浓度70%,料液比1∶20,提取温度70℃,提取时间120 min为最佳提取条件。运用香草醛-盐酸显色法,对最佳提取条件下提取的柳树叶中原花青素含量进行测定,测得绥化地产柳树叶中原花青素含量为10.77 mg/g。     

聚酯酰胺热熔胶的合成及其性能研究

研究了以聚酯胶和聚酰胺胶为原料在催化剂作用下加热共熔,通过大分子链交换反应制备织物用聚酯酰胺热熔胶的方法。用聚酯胶的溶剂对所得产品进行溶取试验并且通过红外光谱分析都证明了链交换反应的存在。用该法所得产品粘接强度大,既耐水洗又耐干洗,适用于粘合衬生产。     

热轧带钢局部高点产生机理及控制研究

针对迁钢2250mm生产线热轧卷出现局部高点的问题,分析了轧辊辊间接触压力、轧制计划编排、工作辊热凸度等因素对产生带钢局部高点的影响规律,提出了优化末机架工作辊辊型、合理编排轧制计划、严格冷却水喷嘴管理制度、控制轧辊热凸度、调整精轧轧制工艺等措施,改善了轧辊的不均匀磨损程度,使带钢局部高点控制在10μm以下。     

Clinical computed tomographic correlations in children from a group at high risk for schizophrenia

Computed tomography (CT) was performed in 189 individuals: in 44 children of schizophrenic parents (high risk group, HRG), in 39 parents with schizophrenia or with schizophrenic disturbance, in 56 children with schizophrenia, in 50 children with consequences of early organic damages of central nervous system (mental retardation syndrome and generalized tic syndrome). The frequency of CT changes was equal in the mentioned groups but their character was quite different. The widening of brain's liquor system (89.7%), the signs of frontal and temporal atrophia (31%), foci of decreased density of cerebral brain's matter, closer in subcortical ganglia and periventricular zone, and different anomalies of brain were observed in HRG children.     

Statistical modeling using preoperative prognostic variables in predicting extracapsular extension and progression after radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer

OBJECTIVE: To predict the risk of extracapsular extension and postoperative recurrence before radical prostatectomy (RP) for prostate cancer. METHODS: We performed multivariate Cox regression analysis on preoperative variables in 260 clinically localized prostate cancer patients who underwent RP. With these data, we constructed a relative risk of recurrence (Rr) equation and an equation to predict the probability of extracapsular extension (PECE) before RP. RESULTS: Rr is calculated as exp[(0.47 x race + 0.14 x PSAST) + (0.13 x worst biopsy Gleason sum) + (1.03 x stage T1c) + (1.55 x stage T2b,c)], where PSAST indicates a sigmoidal transformation of prostate-specific antigen. PECE is calculated as 1/[1 + exp(-Z)], where Z = -2.47 + 0.15 (PSAST) + 0.31 (worst biopsy Gleason sum) + 0.18 (race) + 0.16 (stage T1c) + 0.38 (stage T2b,c). CONCLUSION: These two equations can be used preoperatively to predict the probability of extracapsular disease and the risk of prostate-specific antigen recurrence in patients undergoing RP.     

Mechanisms of induction of apoptotic DNA fragmentation

PURPOSE: Despite its common use as an indicator of apoptosis, little is known about the mechanisms controlling apoptotic DNA fragmentation in irradiated cells. This review discusses the pathways of chromatin fragmentation, and the role of both nucleases and chromatin structure in this process. DEFINITIONS: DNA fragmentation linked to apoptosis is a combination of cleavage events excising both large DNA fragments within the range 0.4-1.0 Mbp and 50 kbp followed by random cuts within internucleosomal regions (i.e. DNA laddering). The first two cleavage steps can be detected in virtually all apoptotic cells, but DNA laddering is not ubiquitously observed. Endonucleases that mediate this cleavage of chromatin may be classified by substrate specificity, mode of DNA cleavage and their cofactor requirements. CONCLUSIONS: Three major pathways of DNA fragmentation are proposed and discussed: (1) upregulation of endonucleases, (2) their intranuclear/intracellular redistribution and (3) primary changes of chromatin structure.
