The paper summarises some methodological approaches which may be used in experimental modelling and study of hereditary radiation effects in mammals. These approaches are aimed to the elucidation of the possible specific character (aggravation) of radiation damage in the offspring determined by the participation of two exposed parents in conception. AIM: To elucidate prognostic value of MDR-1 gene expression in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). MATERIALS AND METHODS: The MDR-1 gene expression was studied by in situ hybridization in hemopoietic cells of 63 Ph-positive CML patients in different phases of the disease. The survival of the patients and duration of the chronic phase (CP) were evaluated using the Caplan-Meyer method. RESULTS: MDR-1-positive patients had a shorter survival (p < 0.01) and CP (p < 0.05) than negative ones. MDR-1 gene overexpression has no impact either on the survival or duration of AP and BP (p < 0.05). Moreover, the MDR-1 gene overexpression is not dependent either on the previous treatment or other prognostic markers. CONCLUSION: Overexpression of MDR-1 gene is an independent prognostic factor and an additional parameter to Sokal's scores. 相似文献

Conclusions Questions of the method of production of basic ramming compounds at Panteleimonovka Refractory Plant and their use in the monolithic lining of the walls of 160-ton steel-teeming ladles of the No. 2 Converter Shop of Kirvoi Rog Steel Combine are considered.An analysis of the wear of the lining during service showed that it occurs as the result of spalling of the sintered zone and salamandering of the lining. The use of a movable thermally insulated lid made it possible to hold the temperature of the ladle lining within limits of 730–1120°C between heats and to obtain a basic rammed lining life of 21–39 heats as opposed to an average life for the shop of 14.8 heats.A reserve for increasing the ladle basic lining life is optimization of the thermal conditions of its service, including high-temperature heating of the lining before pouring of the metal, the use of thermally insulated lids with the minimum consumption of time for placing of them, an increase in the life of the well refractory to the life of the walls and bottom, and elimination of cooling of the lining between heats.A Discussion: Problems of the Production and Use of Refractories for the Lining of Steel-Teeming Ladles. Twenty depressed patients (according to ICD-10) with obsessions of contrast content (homicidophobia--4 patients, suicidophobia--12, other contrast obsessions--4 cases) were examined. The affective disorders belonged to polar areas of a depressive spectrum: anxious depressions (with a prevalence of manifestations of positive affectivity in the form of somatopsychic hyperstesia) and existential depressions (with domination of manifestations of negative affectivity in the form of alienation of the vital functions). In anxious depressions there were compulsive obsessions of contrast content (12 patients), while in existential ones impulsive obsessions (8 cases). Compulsive obsessions of contrast contents (fear of a lack of self-control pronounced in the form of the attacks of lissophobia) were formed at the height of an anxious-depressive affect. Impulsive obsessions of contrast contents (fear of self-damage with elements of an obsessive drive to its realization) were formed during depressive devitalization and were exceeded by suicidal ideas. Comorbidity of depressive and obsessive manifestations was realized by a peculiar type of interrelations with formation of "convergent" symptoms which reflected an increase of severity of depressive disorders. 相似文献

When modeling such phenomena as population dynamics, controllable flows, etc., a problem arises of adapting the existing models to a phenomenon under study. For this purpose, we propose to derive new models from the first principles by stochastization of one-step processes. Research can be represented as an iterative process that consists in obtaining a model and its further refinement. The number of such iterations can be extremely large. This work is aimed at software implementation (by means of computer algebra) of a method for stochastization of one-step processes. As a basis of the software implementation, we use the SymPy computer algebra system. Based on a developed algorithm, we derive stochastic differential equations and their interaction schemes. The effect of PbO2, SnO2, TiO2, and Bi on the combustion of propellants of various compositions is investigated. It is established that SnO2, TiO2, and Bi have a significant effect on the burning rate of propellants without carbon black and additional plastifiers. A marked catalytic effect of PbO2 is manifested only when its content is higher than 5%. It is shown that the addition of SnO2 and PbO2 to propellants leads to formation of a carbon black matrix on the burning surface, on which catalyst particles build up. With the addition of carbon black to propellants, the catalytic action of TiO2 and Bi is enhanced only slightly, and the effect of SnO2 at moderate pressures is markedly reduced due to a considerable increase in the degree of reduction of the active form of (SnO2) catalyst up to its inactive forms (SnO and Sn). 相似文献
