Several code smell detection tools have been developed providing different results, because smells can be subjectively interpreted, and hence detected, in different ways. In this paper, we perform the largest experiment of applying machine learning algorithms to code smells to the best of our knowledge. We experiment 16 different machine-learning algorithms on four code smells (Data Class, Large Class, Feature Envy, Long Method) and 74 software systems, with 1986 manually validated code smell samples. We found that all algorithms achieved high performances in the cross-validation data set, yet the highest performances were obtained by J48 and Random Forest, while the worst performance were achieved by support vector machines. However, the lower prevalence of code smells, i.e., imbalanced data, in the entire data set caused varying performances that need to be addressed in the future studies. We conclude that the application of machine learning to the detection of these code smells can provide high accuracy (>96 %), and only a hundred training examples are needed to reach at least 95 % accuracy.  相似文献

The Virtual Light Field (VLF) method enables real-time global illumination rendering in VR. Flavin-containing monooxygenases (FMOs) are NADPH-dependent flavoenzymes that catalyze the oxidation of heteroatom centers in numerous drugs and xenobiotics. FMO2, or "pulmonary" FMO, one of five forms of the enzyme identified in mammals, is expressed predominantly in lung and differs from other FMOs in that it can catalyze the N-oxidation of certain primary alkylamines. We describe here the isolation and characterization of cDNAs for human FMO2. Analysis of the sequence of the cDNAs and of a section of the corresponding gene revealed that the major FMO2 allele of humans encodes a polypeptide that, compared with the orthologous protein of other mammals, lacks 64 amino acid residues from its C terminus. Heterologous expression of the cDNA revealed that the truncated polypeptide was catalytically inactive. The nonsense mutation that gave rise to the truncated polypeptide, a C --> T transition in codon 472, is not present in the FMO2 gene of closely related primates, including gorilla and chimpanzee, and must therefore have arisen in the human lineage after the divergence of the Homo and Pan clades. Possible mechanisms for the fixation of the mutation in the human population and the potential significance of the loss of functional FMO2 in humans are discussed.  相似文献

This paper presents a model-based control scheme to the cold-start speed control in spark ignition (SI) engines. The multi-variable control algorithm is developed with the purpose of improving the transient performance of the starting engine speed: the control inputs are the fuel injection, the throttle and the spark advance (SA), while the engine speed and the air mass flow rate are the measured signals. The fuel injection is performed with a dual sampling rate system: the cycle-based fuel injection command is individually adjusted for each cylinder by using a TDC (top dead center)-based air charge estimation. The desired performance for speed regulation is achieved by using a coordinated control of SA and throttle operation. The speed error convergence of the closed loop system is proved for simplified, second-order model with a time-delay, and the robustness with respect to parameter uncertainties is investigated. The performance and the robustness with respect to modeling uncertainties of the proposed control scheme are tested using an industrial engine simulator with six cylinders.  相似文献

The design of an adaptive learning regulator is addressed for uncertain minimum phase linear systems (with known bounds, known upper bound on system order, known relative degree, known high frequency gain sign) and for unknown exosystems (with unknown order, uncertain frequencies). On the basis of a known bound on system uncertainties and a known bound on the modeled exosystem frequencies, a new adaptive output error feedback control algorithm is proposed which guarantees exponential convergence of both the output and the control input errors into residual bounds which decrease as the exosystem modeling error decreases. Exponential convergence of both errors to zero is obtained when the regulator exactly models all exosystem excited frequencies, while asymptotic convergence of both errors to zero is achieved when the actual exosystem is overmodeled by the regulator. The new algorithm generalizes existing learning controllers since, in the case of periodic references and/or disturbances, the knowledge of the period is not required.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Exogenous antigenic peptides are presented to T cells by class II major histocompatibility complex (Ia) molecules on the surface of antigen-presenting cells. Class II-associated invariant chain (Ii) is also required for effective antigen presentation. Because messenger RNAs (mRNAs) for Ii chain and for class II I-A beta chain appear in the mouse intestinal epithelium after weaning, experiments were conducted to test the effect of age of weaning and diet on the appearance of Ia and Ii mRNA. METHODS: Four litters were split at day 17; one half was weaned and the other remained with the mother until day 24. On day 23, 25, 27, and 29, enterocytes were isolated from full-length small intestine by vascular perfusion with 30 mmol/L ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, and the RNA was extracted. RESULTS: Appearance of Ii and I-A beta was significantly delayed by late weaning, as judged by RNA hybridization blots (Ii chain) and complementary DNA amplification (I-A beta chain). In mice on elemental diets, the appearance of Ii and I-A beta chain was delayed compared with littermates reared on standard chow. Ii mRNA failed to appear in mice maintained on the elemental diet by day 40, despite normal growth. CONCLUSIONS: Appearance of mRNA for both Ia and Ii depends on the introduction of a complex diet and not the "stress" of weaning or elimination of breast milk. Introduction of foreign dietary antigens or development of an altered intestinal flora may contribute to this process.  相似文献

Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) usually occurs in low birth weight infants who have had perinatal stress, and the mortality remains significant. There are a few reports of NEC in the postoperative period, especially in young infants. Nine neonates developed NEC following operations and form the basis of this report. The interval between operation and the diagnosis of NEC varied from 3 days to 4 mo. The surgical lesions included one case each of esophageal atresia, tetralogy of Fallot, supralevator rectal atresia with rectourethral fistula, and multiple intestinal atresias. Three babies had gastroschisis and two had "apple peel" intestinal atresia. Only 3 of the 9 survived. The usual clinical findings of NEC, abdominal distention, bile stained gastric residuals and diarrhea (with or without blood), can occur in the postoperative period without NEC and are, therefore, not reliable diagnostic signs. Significant changes in the clinical course of these babies occurred from 7 hr to 5 days before the diagnosis was established. In these patients the roentgen findings that established the diagnosis of NEC included intestinal ileus, pneumatosis intestinalis, and portal vein gas. Pneumatosis intestinalis and portal vein gas were the most reliable diagnostic signs, but appeared relatively late in the course of the disease. In one case pneumatosis was seen only in retrospect. None of the patients had definite pneumoperitoneum. Awareness of NEC as a potential postoperative complication may result in early recognition, treatment and survival.  相似文献

Nanoparticles and especially carbon nanotubes (CNTs) provide a high potential for the modification of polymers. They are very effective fillers regarding mechanical properties, especially toughness. Furthermore, they allow the implication of functional properties, which are connected to their electrical conductivity, into polymeric matrices. In the present paper, different nanoparticles, as fumed silica and carbon black, were used to optimise the epoxy matrix system of a glass-fibre-reinforced composite. Their nanometre-size enables their application as particle-reinforcement in FRPs produced by the resin-transfer-moulding method (RTM), without being filtered by the glass-fibre bundles. Additionally, an electrical field was applied during curing, in order to enhance orientation of the nanofillers in z-direction. The interlaminar shear strengths of the nanoparticle modified composites were significantly improved (+16%) by adding only 0.3 wt.% of CNTs. The interlaminar toughness GIc and GIIc was not affected in a comparable manner. The laminates containing carbon nanotubes exhibited a relatively high electrical conductivity at very low filler contents, which allows the implication of functional properties, such as stress-strain monitoring and damage detection.  相似文献

Single-input single-output uncertain linear time-varying systems are considered, which are affected by unknown bounded additive disturbances; the uncertain time-varying parameters are required to be smooth and bounded but are neither required to be sufficiently slow nor to have known bounds. The output, which is the only measured variable, is required to track a given smooth bounded reference trajectory. The undisturbed system is assumed to be minimum-phase and to have known and constant relative degree, known sign of the ‘high frequency gain’, known upper bound on the system order. An adaptive output feedback control algorithm is designed which assures: (i) boundedness of all closed-loop signals; (ii) arbitrarily improved transient performance of the tracking error; (iii) asymptotically vanishing tracking error when parameter time derivatives are L1 signals and disturbances are L2 signals.  相似文献
