The article describes the method and results of the puncture sclerotherapy of nonparasitic liver cysts in 30 patients. Cooled to -28 degrees C 96% ethyl alcohol was used as a sclerosing agent. The total destructive effect of the agent was obtained due to the combination of its chemical and physical (temperature) factors. Complete recovery was obtained in 86.6% of the patients. The puncture sclerotherapy can be used as a medical alternative for nonparasitic liver cysts. 相似文献

Kinetics of the decay of photoluminescence of Er impurity in the films of amorphous hydrogenated Si a-Si:H〈Er〉 was studied for the first time. The films were obtained either by cosputtering of Si and Er targets with the use
of the technology of dc silane decomposition in a magnetic field (MASD) or by radio-frequency decomposition of silane. In
the second case, an Er(TMHD)3 polymer powder was used as the source of Er. It is shown that, at room temperature, the a-Si:H〈Er〉 films obtained by the MASD method feature the characteristic times of Er photoluminescence decay equal to 10–15
μs, which is 20 times smaller than in the case of Er-doped crystalline Si (c-Si〈Er, O〉) as measured at liquid-nitrogen temperature. For the a-Si:H〈Er〉 films obtained by radio-frequency decomposition of silane, the decay times of Er photoluminescence amount to 2 μs.
The difference in the photoluminescence decay times is related to dissimilarities in the local surroundings of Er atoms in
the a-Si:H〈Er〉 films obtained by different methods.

Inelastic neutron scattering measurements typically require two orders of magnitude longer data collection times and larger sample sizes than neutron diffraction studies. Inelastic neutron scattering measurements on pressurised samples are particularly challenging since standard high-pressure apparatus restricts sample volume, attenuates the incident and scattered beams, and contributes background scattering. Here, we present the design of a large volume two-layered piston-cylinder pressure cell with optimised transmission for inelastic neutron scattering experiments. The design and the materials selected for the construction of the cell enable its safe use to a pressure of 1.8 GPa with a sample volume in excess of 400 mm(3). The design of the piston seal eliminates the need for a sample container, thus providing a larger sample volume and reduced absorption. The integrated electrical plug with a manganin pressure gauge offers an accurate measurement of pressure over the whole range of operational temperatures. The performance of the cell is demonstrated by an inelastic neutron scattering study of UGe(2). 相似文献

We have studied the properties of luminescent protein complexes based on myoglobin with covalently bound CY3 luminophore, which were incorporated into polysaccharide agarose films, as potential elements sensitive to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in aqueous solutions. The presence of this analyte changes the absorption spectrum of myoglobin, which influences the efficiency of luminophore excitation while having almost no effect on its emission spectrum. This effect shows that a luminescent sensor system with the optical response determined by analyte-induced changes in the efficiency of luminescence excitation in the sensitive element can be created. For the system studied, the limit of detection of H2S dissolved in water amounted to 100 pM. 相似文献
