The structures, chemical states of elements, and catalytic activities of Ni-Mo-B alloys with different molybdenum contents,
which were obtained by catalytic electroless reduction of metal ions, were studied. The rates of the partial reactions (heterogeneous
hydrolysis of dimethylamine borane, reduction of nickel ions, and evolution of molecular hydrogen) were found to make a bell-shaped
curve when plotted versus the concentration of molybdate ions in solution.

An analytical method for calculating static characteristics of linear dc step motors (LSM) is described. These multiphase passive-armature motors are now being developed for control rod drives (CRD) in large nuclear reactors. The static characteristics of such LSM is defined by the variation of electromagnetic force with armature displacement and it determines motor performance in its standing and dynamic modes of operation. The proposed analytical technique for calculating this characteristic is based on the permeance analysis method applied to phase magnetic circuits of LSM. Reluctances of various parts of phase magnetic circuit is calculated analytically by assuming probable flux paths and by taking into account complex nature of magnetic field distribution in it. For given armature positions stator and armature iron saturations are taken into account by an efficient iterative algorithm which gives fast convergence. This article examines the advantages and disadvantages of using guillotine shears with an inclined top blade for the cross-cutting of flat-rolled products on modern plate mills. It is shown that it is necessary to use shears of an improved design. After shears with a “rolling cut,” designed by the All-Russia Scientific Research, Planning, and Design Institute of Metallurgical Machinery (VNIImetmash), were installed in the line of the 2800 plate mill at the Ural Steel combine, the institute conducted studies to optimize the parameters of the cutting operation and developed recommendations for the shears operators on how to adjust the shears to obtain a quality cut edge on the plates. 相似文献

An example of an opto-pneumatic detector's (OPD) frequency transfer function is presented for the development of an opto-pneumatic interface. The theoretical model is tested through experiments in the laboratory on a real OPD prototype. In this way many of the model's parameters are studied and evaluated, such as the dimensions of the gas chamber, the thickness of the absorbent body, and the load of the OPD.
