The inverse microemulsion copolymerization of acrylamide and butyl acrylate initiated by ammonium peroxodisulphate, a water‐soluble initiator, and stabilized by anionic emulsifiers sodium bis‐2‐ethylhexylsulfosuccinate and sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS) has been studied. An increase of SDS concentration was observed to increase both the rate of polymerization and the particle size. The average number of radicals per particle (n?) is much below 0.5, which indicates desorption of monomeric radicals from polymer particles. The exit (desorption) rate constants k′des (cm2 s?1) and kdes (s?1) were evaluated as a function of SDS concentration (or the particle size) according to the Ugelstad/O'Toole (I), Nomura (II) and Gilbert (III) models. The value of kdes (s?1) decreases with increasing particle size (or SDS concentration) for all three (I, II and III) models. A complex trend appears for k′des (cm2 s?1): the Ugelstad/O'Toole model estimates a decrease, the Nomura model finds no variation and the Gilbert model estimates even a slight increase in k′des with increasing SDS concentration. The performance of ATLAS forward region full-sized n+n prototype silicon micro-strip detectors has been studied after irradiation with 2×1014 protons/cm2 and 52 days annealing at 20°C. The signal-to-noise ratio measured at −10°C with LHC speed read-out was found to be degraded primarily due to increased noise. The reduction in the reverse current and the changes in the voltage needed for maximum charge collection have both been studied as a function of annealing time. Above the depletion voltage, no effect on the charge collection efficiency has been observed during this annealing period. 相似文献

Densities, viscosities, and refractive indices of three binary systems consisting of 1-butanol with polyethylene glycols of different molecular weights (PEG 200 and PEG 400) or tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether (TEGDME) were measured at ten temperatures (288.15, 293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15, 323.15, 328.15, and 333.15) K and atmospheric pressure. Densities of the selected binary mixtures were measured with an Anton Paar DMA 5000 digital vibrating U-tube densimeter, refractive indices were measured with an automatic Anton Paar RXA-156 refractometer, while for viscosity measurements, a digital Stabinger SVM 3000/G2 viscometer was used. From these data, excess molar volumes were calculated and fitted to the Redlich–Kister equation. The obtained results have been analyzed in terms of specific molecular interactions and mixing behavior between mixture components, as well as the influence of temperature on them. Viscosity data were also correlated by Grunberg–Nissan, Eyring–UNIQUAC, three-body McAlister, and Eyring–NRTL models. 相似文献

In this paper we present an electromagnetism (EM) metaheuristic for solving NP hard Maximum Betweenness Problem (MBP). A new encoding scheme with appropriate objective functions is implemented. Specific representation of the individuals enables the EM operators to explore the searching space in a way that achieves high quality solutions. An effective 1-swap based local search procedure improved by the specific caching technique is performed on each EM point. The algorithm is tested both on real and artificial instances from the literature. Experimental results show that the proposed EM approach achieves all previously known optimal solutions, except one, and achieves the best-known solutions or outperforms other approaches on all large-scale instances, except two. In this paper, we introduce a new hybrid ARQ technique for broadcasting or multicasting in erasure channel. The system is tested according to the objective criteria—quantity of information sent by the source, loses, and number of negative acknowledgments (NACKs) sent by the receiver nodes (end nodes). We compare our proposed method with automatic repeat request (ARQ), hybrid ARQ II (HARQ II), and also with a forward error correction (FEC) transmission technique based on Reed Solomon code (RS). The main focus of the presented HARQ is to reduce the quantity of redundant information sent by the source as well as the number of NACKs sent by the receivers, maintaining the condition that all the information is being recovered successfully by the receivers. 相似文献

Far infrared reflectivity spectra of polycrystalline In1?xGaxSb were measured and numerically analyzed using the classical dispersion formula and also a fitting procedure based on the modified plasmon-phonon interaction model in the temperature range from 10 K to 300 K. In order to contribute to the general understanding of the risks and benefits of consuming fish and fish products, total mercury (THg), monomethylmercury (MeHg), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), selenium (Se), n-3 and n-6 fatty acids were determined in fresh and canned fish on the Slovenian market. Furthermore, the mercury exposure of pregnant women in Slovenia was assessed by determining total mercury (THg) in hair, and through fresh and canned fish consumption obtained by a food frequency questionnaire. Based on the frequency of fish consumption and levels of MeHg, THg and PCBs determined in the present study, it can be concluded that fish available on the Slovenian market do not represent a health risk. It was also confirmed that fish are important sources of selenium and n-3 fatty acids. 相似文献

The present study characterises garden strawberry leaf extract and reports its effect on shelf life and quality characteristics of fish oil. Radical scavenging capacity of the extract in DPPH? and ABTS?+ assays was equivalent to 1207 and 1579 μmol g?1 of trolox equivalents, respectively, total phenolic content was 257 mg g?1 of gallic acid equivalents. Phenolic and volatile constituents were analysed by liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The extract was added to fish oil and its oxidation was followed during 42 days: peroxide, p‐anisidine values and hexanal concentration were lower in the samples with extract, particularly at the end of storage. The effect of extract on fatty acid composition was not significant, however the changes in the percentages of some individual acids were observed. Fish oil containing 5% of extract had lower levels of lipid oxidation in comparison to other samples. The results indicate that strawberry leaves could be a potential source of natural antioxidants. 相似文献

The new mono-nuclear FeII 2 and ball-type homo-dinuclear FeII–FeII 3 phthalocyanines have been synthesized from the corresponding 4,4′-(1a,8b-dihydronaphtho[b]naphthofuro[3,2-d]-furan-7,10-diyl)bis(oxy)diphthalonitrile 1 while ball-type hetero-dinuclear FeII–CoII phthalocyanine 4 was synthesized from 2. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, UV–vis, IR and MALDI-TOF-mass spectroscopies. The redox behaviours of the complexes were identified by controlled-potential coulometry, cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry measurements on Pt in dimethylsulfoxide containing tetrabutylammonium perchlorate. The assignments of the redox processes and the understanding of the interactions between the metal phthalocyanine units in 3 and 4 were achieved by the combined evaluation of the voltammetric and in situ spectroelectrochemical outcomes. Complex 3 showed ring-based mixed-valence behaviour as a result of the considerable interaction between the phthalocyanine rings. On the other hand, the interactions between the two metal phthalocyanine units of 4 were found to be much weaker than those in 3. The potential application of molecular organic semiconductors needs the control adjustment of conductivity. Ac and dc conductivity measurements were performed with the applied external electric filed. At high frequency, the conduction follows the universal power law and conduction mechanism can be explained by classical hopping barriers mechanism for the system. 相似文献
