A new simple method of measuring capacitance-voltage characteristics of MOS devices is presented. Proceeding from the charge-based capacitance measurement technique suggested recently, a compact test structure with high resolution has been developed, which only requires measurement of do quantities. The method was tested on a 0.6-μm CMOS process with small and large area capacitors and compared to well-known high-frequency capacitance-voltage results. Beside using a reference structure, a second means of extracting parasitic effects is demonstrated for small structures. The test structure allows measurements in a wide frequency range with high accuracy and low noise contribution at small capacitance levels  相似文献

On Alternating Bending Machine WEBI's Suitability for Determination of Fatigue Characteristics Already in 1966, experimental investigations revealed that the flat bending torsion testing machine ?FLATO”? (Schenck, Darmstadt) doesn't keep constant its torsional moment amplitude in case of specimen's fatigue softening or hardening, respectively. Thus. conclusions concerning the material's fatigue characteristics drawn from such experimental results might therefore be seriously false. Furthermore, also the alternating bending testing machine ?WEBI”? (Schenck, Darmstadt) shows an equivalent behaviour concerning its bending moment amplitude. For this reason. the main findings of a comprehensive experimental study carried out on WEBI with an unalloyed steel C 45 (0.45 mass perccnl C) in different heat treatment conditions are reported in this paper.  相似文献

Many cognitive tasks that are easy for humans to perform are proving difficult to emulate in computer systems. Combining the disciplines of psychology and engineering may offer a solution to some of these problems. A connectionist or neural network model of face recognition by humans which incorporates aspects of a model proposed by cognitive psychologists is presented. A comparative set of experiments has been performed using this simulation and human subjects for familiar face recognition. By employing the same stimuli for both humans and the computer model, it is possible to advance not only our understanding of human cognition but also to develop improved automated systems for face recognition  相似文献

The authors describe the relaying concepts of charge comparison. Charge comparison is a new transmission line protection system. It is a form of current differential relaying. Charge comparison largely resolves the traditional problems of current differential relaying of transmission lines, which are that protection is lost if a channel fails, a large channel capacity is required, and precise channel delay compensation is required. This technique is suitable for the protection of two- or three-terminal AC transmission lines, of all lengths and voltage levels, with or without series of shunt compensation, with three-hole or single-pole tripping  相似文献

The pyrolysis of tertiarybutylphosphine (TBP) has been studied in the low pressure conditions used for chemical beam epitaxy (CBE). The pyrolysis studies were carried out in low pressure reactors of two different configurations, one of which is a cracker cell designed for use in a CBE system. The reaction products were studied using a quadrupole mass spectrometer. The products observed are accounted for by a reaction mechanism involving homolysis of the parent TBP molecule to produce PH2 and C4H9 radicals. These undergo subsequent reactions to form the stable products C4H8, PH3 and H2, with smaller amounts of P and P2 being produced. The production of the sub-hydride PH2 using this cracker cell design indicates that the use of partially cracked TBP may be a promising technique for reducing the amount of carbon incorporated into the growing epitaxial layer.  相似文献
