针对某柴油机用可调涡轮在低速工况下的低效强激波特征,提出并设计了一种分体滑动导叶,并在10%、40%和100% 3个典型开度下进行了定常/非定常数值计算。结果表明:分体滑动导叶在小开度下可实现对间隙泄漏流动的有效抑制,大幅度提高涡轮效率;在10%开度下,分体滑动导叶提高了涡轮10%的峰值效率,同时涡轮效率在40%和全开工况下也有不同程度的提高。此外,通过合理设计转静间距,分体滑动导叶尾缘激波被大幅度削弱。导叶间隙泄漏流和尾缘激波的抑制可有效弱化转子定子干涉强度,降低下游转子叶片表面载荷波动幅值,提高转子叶片的可靠性。  相似文献

Similar estimators are derived for the scale parameters v1 and Vn, of the Type II asymptotic distributions of smallest and largest values, F3(w, v1, K) = 1 - exp[-(w/v1)-K] and F4(z, vn K) = exp [-(z/vn)-K], given the shape parameter K and assuming the location parameter is zero. The one-order-statistic estimators are K?|? = -1/Cmn 1n(? - xmn) for the limited distribution, K?|? = 1/Cmn 1n(ymn - ?) for the Pareto distribution, ?1|K = Cmn-1/K Wmn and ?n|K = Cmn-1/K Zn-m+1,n for the Type II distributions of smallest and largest values, where Xmn, Ymn, Wmn, Zmn are the mth order statistics of samples of size n from the respective distributions and Cmn is the coefficient for a one-order-statistic estimator of the scale parameter of an exponential distribution, which has been tabled in an earlier paper. It is shown that exact confidence bounds can be easily derived for these parameters using exact confidence bounds for the scale parameter of the exponential distribution. Robust mesoporous membranes composed of silica spheres were surface-modified with chiral selector moieties, including small molecules, macrocycles, and polymers. Diffusion rates of enantiomers of a chiral dye through the resulting asymmetrically modified colloidal membranes were measured and the corresponding permselectivities were calculated. The membranes showed enantioselectivities in the range of 1.2–1.8, which were not significantly affected by the structure of the surface-immobilized chiral electors. This selectivity is on par with most reported polymer-based solid membranes and bulk liquid membranes. The enantioselectivity results from the surface-facilitated mechanism of transport of enantiomers through the mesopores.  相似文献

Usually, the time of repair/replacement of reinforced concrete structures due to corrosion is controlled by cracking of the concrete cover. Thus, it is important to be able to predict with sufficient accuracy the time from corrosion initiation to crack formation in the concrete cover. The paper presents a critical overview of existing empirical, analytical and numerical models for predicting the time to corrosion-induced cover cracking. A simple nonlinear finite element (FE) is then formulated and validated. The FE model is employed to investigate inaccuracies of analytical models arising due to simplified formulation of the nonlinear behaviour of concrete and inability to account for actual location of corroding reinforcing bars. Recommendations on the applicability of analytical models are provided. Finally, the FE model is used to estimate the amount of corrosion products penetrating into concrete pores and microcracks since this amount is an essential parameter for analytical and numerical models.  相似文献

Mixed-effects linear regression models have become more widely used for analysis of repeatedly measured outcomes in clinical trials over the past decade. There are formulae and tables for estimating sample sizes required to detect the main effects of treatment and the treatment by time interactions for those models. A formula is proposed to estimate the sample size required to detect an interaction between two binary variables in a factorial design with repeated measures of a continuous outcome. The formula is based, in part, on the fact that the variance of an interaction is fourfold that of the main effect. A simulation study examines the statistical power associated with the resulting sample sizes in a mixed-effects linear regression model with a random intercept. The simulation varies the magnitude (Δ) of the standardized main effects and interactions, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ρ), and the number (k) of repeated measures within-subject. The results of the simulation study verify that the sample size required to detect a 2×2 interaction in a mixed-effects linear regression model is fourfold that to detect a main effect of the same magnitude.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The electrophoretic mobilities of asphaltenes in n-heptane and ethanol were determined. The asphaltenes studied show a positive charge in both solvents. However, the magnitude of the charge is considerably lower in n-heptane than in ethanol. It is concluded that although the electrostatic forces are presented in both solvents, the van der Waals’ atractive forces are the main responsable for the flocculation of asphaltene particles. The addition of a well known asphaltene stabilizer, dodecyl benzene sulphonic acid (DBSA), decreases the electrophoretic mobility of asphaltene particles in ethanol until a constant positive value is reached. This means that the neutralization of the positive charges of the asphaltene particles is not complete, probably due to the limited adsorption of the DBSA on asphaltene surface and also, to the presence of charges inside the asphaltene particles that are not accessible to the DBSA.  相似文献

Biogrouting is a biological ground improvement method, in which microorganisms are used to induce carbonate precipitation in the subsurface in order to increase the strength and stiffness of granular soils. In this paper the results of a large-scale experiment (100?m3) are presented, in which the feasibility of biogrouting as a ground improvement method is investigated using techniques and equipment similar to those used in potential applications. In situ geophysical measurements were used to monitor the biogrouting process during treatment and indicated that the stiffness had increased significantly after one day of treatment. The results of unconfined compressive strength tests on samples which were excavated after treatment were used to assess the distribution of mechanical properties throughout the cemented sand body, which correlated quite well with the results of the in situ geophysical measurements. The stiffness increase could be quantified as a function of the injected volume of grouting agents and the distance from the injection points. These results will serve as an important benchmark for future applications of biomediated ground improvement.  相似文献

In this study, a conjugate gradient method based inverse algorithm is applied to estimate the inlet jet temperature in an impinging jet cooling problem. Given the maximum allowable plate temperature and the extent of the area on plate where temperature needs to be controlled, the jet temperature required to meet the two demands can be determined. The tests in two scenarios show that very accurate inlet jet temperatures were returned, resulting in a maximum temperature less than 1% difference with the specified temperature within the specified area. The technique presented here can be a great assist to engineers to design adequate thermal management systems for devices or processes requiring jet impingement cooling.  相似文献
