The Effect of Additives on Cu/HZSM-5 Catalyst for DME Synthesis

The addition of ZnO or ZrO₂ into CuO/HZSM-5 was investigated for DME synthesis from syngas by using the reactive frontal chromatography method, TPR and in situ TPR. These promoters enhanced the catalytic activity of Cu/HZSM-5 and promotion with ZnO and ZrO₂ produced a maximum activity, which could be explained by the improvement of the dispersion of Cu and the promotion of CuO reduction. The Cu⁺ species existing during the reaction have been detected, based on which a Cu⁰ Cu⁺¹ redox cycle model was put forward.

Development of a shortened center for epidemiological studies depression scale for assessment of depression in rheumatoid arthritis.

Objective: The purpose was to develop a short-form version of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) for the identification of persons with major depressive disorder (MDD) within a population with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Study Design: Data were analyzed from 337 persons with RA. Forty-six participants met the diagnostic criteria for MDD; 291 participants were classified in the non-MDD category (including 21 participants with dysthymia and 18 participants with minor depressive disorder). A short-form version of the CES-D was developed, and multiple cutoff scores were examined. Results: A cutoff score of ≥5 from a 9-item, short-form CES-D was found to be generally as efficient as the more commonly used full-scale cutoff score of ≥16 for classifying participants with MDD within an RA population. Although the shortened CES-D scale (cutoff score ≥5) was slightly more sensitive, it also exhibited slightly less specificity than the full-scale cutoff score of ≥16. Conclusion: The results suggest that a short-form CES-D can be used to screen for MDD within an RA sample with a degree of efficiency that is generally comparable to that of the full-scale instrument. 一种扩展的工作流过程定义模型

提出了一个支持复杂应用的扩展工作流过程定义模型ScopePModel，它可以描述复杂结构的工作流流程，并且能够清晰地描述任务之间的控制流依赖关系和任务的补偿信息，表达出复杂工作流程的定义；同时，本文所提出的工作流过程定义模型ScopePModel，不仅可以捕捉现实世界业务流程，具有丰富的表达能力，使工作流定义的语义更为明确，而且为工作流过程定义模型验证提供了强大、丰富的理论依据，为工作流过程定义模型验证奠定了良好基础．ScopeWork是我们自行研制开发的工作流管理系统的原型系统，它基于该模型实现了复杂业务过程的工作流过程定义以及调度等功能．     

乳化技术用于FCC反应实验系统的研究

模拟工业生产装置对原有催化裂化（FCC）实验系统逐步优化，内容包括设置原料与水蒸气混合加热炉；水蒸气发生炉前置水加热器并使水蒸气能够连续进料；增加反应沉降空间．沉降器顶部设过滤器；干气采用湿式流量计计量，液化气使用溶剂吸收计量等。结果表明：改造后，优化了FCC操作条件，提高了汽油收率，降低了生焦量；极大的减少了油气中催化剂夹带，方便了操作，减少了油品损失；使计量更准确；为乳化油的工业应用提供了依据。     

COBOS: Cooperative backoff adaptive scheme for multirobot task allocation

In this paper, the cooperative backoff adaptive scheme (COBOS) is proposed for task allocation amongst a team of heterogeneous robots. The COBOS operates in regions with limited communication ranges, and is robust against robot malfunctions and uncertain task specifications, with each task potentially requiring multiple robots. The portability of tasks across teams (or when team demography changes) is improved by specifying tasks using basis tasks in a matrix framework. The adaptive feature of COBOS further increases the flexibility of robot teams, allowing robots to adjust their actions based on past experience. In addition, we study the properties of COBOS: operation domain; communication requirements; computational complexity; and solution quality; and compare the scheme with other task-allocation mechanisms. Realistic simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
