This paper describes a detailed model of a transformer designed to evaluate the ability of winding insulation to withstand transients. The time domain electromagnetic transient program (EMTP) was used to develop a model of the transient characteristics of the winding. It is difficult for students to use EMTP and understand simulation results. This paper contains all the data needed to develop a detailed model for transient analysis and presents basic case studies and alternative design/operating configurations.  相似文献

The limited connectivity of current and next-generation quantum annealers motivates the need for efficient graph minor embedding methods. These methods allow non-native problems to be adapted to the target annealer’s architecture. The overhead of the widely used heuristic techniques is quickly proving to be a significant bottleneck for solving real-world applications. To alleviate this difficulty, we propose a systematic and deterministic embedding method, exploiting the structures of both the specific problem and the quantum annealer. We focus on the specific case of the Cartesian product of two complete graphs, a regular structure that occurs in many problems. We decompose the embedding problem by first embedding one of the factors of the Cartesian product in a repeatable pattern. The resulting simplified problem comprises the placement and connecting together of these copies to reach a valid solution. Aside from the obvious advantage of a systematic and deterministic approach with respect to speed and efficiency, the embeddings produced are easily scaled for larger processors and show desirable properties for the number of qubits used and the chain length distribution. We conclude by briefly addressing the problem of circumventing inoperable qubits by presenting possible extensions of our method.  相似文献

In this paper, an approach is developed for sensitivity analysis of inertial parameters. It is based on the reformed equations of motion linear in terms of the inertial parameters, which are transformed to dimensionless inertial parameters. Based on an eigenvalue analysis, directions of the parameter space are found along which maximum/minimum changes are achieved on the generalized forces, i.e., on the dynamics of the system. Directional derivatives of the generalized force vector in these directions characterize how each inertial parameter contributes to the system dynamics.  相似文献

Visual stimulus decoding is an increasingly important challenge in neuroscience. The goal is to classify the activity patterns from the human brain; during the sighting of visual objects. One of the crucial problems in the brain decoder is the selecting informative voxels. We propose a meta-heuristic voxel selection framework for brain decoding. It is composed of four phases: preprocessing of fMRI data; filtering insignificant voxels; postprocessing; and meta-heuristics selection. The main contribution is benefiting a meta-heuristics search algorithm to guide a wrapper voxel selection. The main criterion to nominate a voxel is based on its mutual information with the provided stimulus label. The results show impressive accuracy rates which are 90.66 ± 3.66 and 91.61 ± 8.24 for DS105 and DS107, respectively. This outperforms the most of existing brain decoders in similar validation conditions. The experimental results are very encouraging which can be successfully used in the brain-computer interface.  相似文献

In this article, we apply the method of lines (MOL) for solving the time-fractional diffusion equations (TFDEs). The use of MOL yields a system of fractional differential equations with the initial value. The solution of this system could be obtained in the form of Mittag–Leffler matrix function. A direct method which computes the Mittag–Leffler matrix by applying its eigenvalues and eigenvectors analytically has been discussed. The direct approach has been applied on one-, two-, and three-dimensional TFDEs with Dirichlet, Neumann, and periodic boundary conditions as well.

The selection of critical control points is one of the most important steps in the design of a hazard analysis and critical control points system. In this study, the influence of starter culture inoculation on biogenic amine accumulation in fresh fermented sausage as critical control point was studied. The effect of three starter culture Lactobacillus plantarum plus Bifidobacterium lactis, L. plantarum plus Bifidobacterium bifidum or L. plantarum plus B. lactis and B. bifidum on amines production were investigated. Tyramine (TY), Cadaverine (CA), Putrescine (PU), Histamine (HIS) and Tryptamine (TR) contents increased during the fermentation and storage stage, and TY was the prevailing amine in the final product. Sausages produced by fermentation with starters, as compared to natural fermentation (control), had a lower amount of biogenic amine. A great reduction in biogenic amine content was achieved when Bifidobacterium sp. were inoculated, also levels of species of Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonas decreased, while lactic acid bacteria counts increased during fermentation and storage.  相似文献

Two rubber compounds with different amounts of chemical curatives were prepared by mixing natural rubber with a high loading of a sulfur‐bearing silanized precipitated amorphous white silica nanofiller. The chemical bonding between the filler and rubber was optimized via the tetrasulfane groups of the silane by adding a sulfenamide accelerator and zinc oxide. The rubber compounds were cured and stored at ambient temperature for 65 days before they were tested. One compound showed extensive blooming as a function of storage time. Thin tensile strips of the rubber vulcanizates containing an edge crack were repeatedly stressed at constant strain amplitude and test frequency at ambient temperature and crack length c was measured as a function of the number of cycles n. The cut growth per cycle, dc/dn, was calculated and plotted against the tearing energy, T. The blooming of the chemical curatives increased dc/dn by up to an order of magnitude at a constant T. This was due to the reagglomeration of the chemical curatives in the rubber and also within a thin layer approximately 15 to 20 μm in size beneath the rubber surface. Under repeated stressing, cracks grew through the relatively weak agglomerated areas in the rubber and this caused the rate of crack growth to increase at a constant T. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
