Acute nonoliguric renal failure developed in a 13-year-old girl, 1 month after the institution of isoniazid therapy because of a positive tuberculin test at school screening. A renal biopsy demonstrated severe crescentic glomerulonephritis with focal interstitial changes. Discontinuation of isoniazid and a short course of steroids and cyclophosphamide therapy were followed by complete recovery. Whereas isoniazid has been shown to induce a lupus-like syndrome and antihistone antinuclear antibodies, our patient displayed none of the clinical or immunological features that are characteristic of drug-induced lupus. Furthermore, none of the identifiable causes for crescentic glomerulonephritis was evident in this girl. To the best of our knowledge this is the first report suggesting a possible association of crescentic glomerulonephritis to isoniazid treatment.  相似文献

In order to properly function in real-world environments, the gait of a humanoid robot must be able to adapt to new situations as well as to deal with unexpected perturbations. A promising research direction is the modular generation of movements that results from the combination of a set of basic primitives. In this paper, we present a robot control framework that provides adaptive biped locomotion by combining the modulation of dynamic movement primitives (DMPs) with rhythm and phase coordination. The first objective is to explore the use of rhythmic movement primitives for generating biped locomotion from human demonstrations. The second objective is to evaluate how the proposed framework can be used to generalize and adapt the human demonstrations by adjusting a few open control parameters of the learned model. This paper contributes with a particular view into the problem of adaptive locomotion by addressing three aspects that, in the specific context of biped robots, have not received much attention. First, the demonstrations examples are extracted from human gaits in which the human stance foot will be constrained to remain in flat contact with the ground, forcing the “bent-knee” at all times in contrast with the typical straight-legged style. Second, this paper addresses the important concept of generalization from a single demonstration. Third, a clear departure is assumed from the classical control that forces the robot’s motion to follow a predefined fixed timing into a more event-based controller. The applicability of the proposed control architecture is demonstrated by numerical simulations, focusing on the adaptation of the robot’s gait pattern to irregularities on the ground surface, stepping over obstacles and, at the same time, on the tolerance to external disturbances.  相似文献

We report construction and characterization of tetracycline-controlled hepatitis B virus pX-expressing hepatocyte (AML12) cell lines. These cell lines were constructed in AML12 clonal isolates (clones 3 and 4), which express constitutively the tetracycline-controlled transactivator. Since pX is implicated in HCC, this immortalized hepatocyte model system was used to investigate the mechanism of pX in transformation. Clonal isolates of 3pX and 4pX lineages display conditional synthesis of pX mRNA and protein and a 2-fold increase in growth saturation density following tetracycline removal, implicating pX in monolayer overgrowth. Interestingly, only 3pX clones display pX-dependent anchorage independence. Clone 3 lineages express hepatocyte nuclear factor-1alpha and hepatocyte-specific marker genes; clone 4 lineages express hepatocyte nuclear factor-1beta and reduced levels of hepatocyte-specific marker genes, suggesting the importance of the differentiated hepatocyte in pX-mediated oncogenic transformation. Importantly, 3pX and 4pX lineages display differential expression of immediate early genes c-fos and ATF3. The pX-transforming 3pX lineage displays early, pX-dependent induction of ATF3 and prolonged induction of c-fos. The nontransforming 4pX cells display an absence of pX-dependent ATF3 induction and transient induction of c-fos. Our results support the direct link of pX expression to oncogenic transformation in 3pX lineage clones and underscore the advantage of this conditional cellular model system for studying mechanisms of pX-mediated oncogenesis.  相似文献

The essential oil of Coleus amboinicus Lour. plants, growing in Cuba, was investigated by means of LSC, GLC and GC-MS. A total of 20 components were identified, including 13 terpene hydrocarbons and 7 oxygenated compounds. The oil contained about 64% carvacrol.  相似文献
